Only 4 chapters, but I like that so far. Something hooked me in this fic, especially that strange Other Side. Good quality, good update rate.

For the first time in possibly months, there's a brand new HP fic that I can unreservedly say is good. It completely breaks from canon with (so far) very accurate characterizations and cool action. The only drawback so far is the length - it needs moar.

 

the least can be said about the fic is it is original. I like it so far.

 

God damn I thought it was a Guild Wars crossover. -__-

 

Fun to read, so far. The characterizations are good so far, and Harry is at least observant enough to watch his own ass. It's refreshing, if not totally original.

 

It's a nice beginning. I really liked reading it.
I hope he keeps updating regularly

 

Is it a Dresden cross (or just using the name 'Ectomancer', Dresden Files is the only place I've seen it used.)?

This is the best new fic I've read in ages. A definite 5/5 so far, and I'm looking forward to seeing how it plays out. It's good that he updates quickly too, I'm already looking forward to a new chapter.

 

Very good, 5/5. If this idea has been done before, I haven't seen it. I noticed one error though, in chapter one the author made a reference to a non-existent baseball team, the Chicago Tigers.

 

Simply brilliant. The action was great, conceptually original, and solid writing. Looking forward to more. 5/5

 

Excellent story.
Though I expected Harry to ask Dumbeldore about the other side, or something about, how he was attacked.
But these are only small things. On the whole, a very good fic, with a good update rate (weekly).
5 stars.

 

The description of his form sounds alot like the main character from the GC game Geist.

 

Decent read, both the Author name and reading chapter 2 seemed familiar to me. It is almost like I had read it years ago and and only recall certain pieces of the story now. Weird

Hell yeah, I fucking remember that confrontation scene with the fake...

 

I quite like this so far. I must admit I've never seen Harry-with-a-new-power handled quite so well before; or I don't remember anything of the sort at least. 4/5 for now but I'll refrain from voting until a couple more chapters are out.

 

It's a unique plot..decent grammar and characterization.. I'm looking forward to seeing where the author goes with this. 4/5 so far.

If it updates regularly, it may be a really good work. I hope it does.

Harry is still sad about Sirius and at first it may seem like he is over angsting it, but I believe it is a shell to show his... disassociated self. He does have a little skill, though we all know he wont give himself credit for it and though He loves (not romantical) Hermione he is aware that she might go to Dumbledore. He isn't super hating or anything and I personally think he gets along with Dumbles too well; considering a part of the fic though, that is understandable.

I'm not familiar with whatever it is crossed with or if it even is, but it looks interesting. Go for it. Trust me. Just try it.
