    Has anyone read the Dresden Files comic, Welcome to the Jungle? I was over at B&N today with the girlfriend and while she was browsing, I saw it and picked it up. I sat down and read it and finished it within 30 or so minutes. It was awesome. Just like a Dresden short story with amazing artwork. There were some lulzy one liners from Dresden too.

    Yeah, it was pretty good. There's a thread or two about it floating around in here somewhere.

    Did they release the four issues in a compilation pack or something? Or did you just read the first one?

    I'm in the same boat, Ellisande.

    Either the B&N here isn't going to order it, or they havent gotten the stock in yet, as of this past weekend. BooksAMillion, either. I'd love to get my hands on it, though.

    It's awesome. Artwork's great, and parts of it made me crack up. Plot's good too.

    Yep, it's pretty damn good. I remember Vash was downing the artwork, Murphy's portrayal in particular. Having recently re-read the book's, I have to agree with him. In Storm front, Butcher describes Harry and Murphy thusly:
    While Harry is great, Murphy features seem harsher and more angular than even him. Not so good.

    Still, the humour and characterisation is dead on, and its extremely enjoyable.

    I think there's supposed to be a graphic novel adaptation of Storm Front coming out right about now, isn't there? I'll have to check.

    That's what it said inside "Welcome to the Jungle." I thought it was wrong, though, since I just got it after pre-ordering.

    Yeah. The story itself is awesome and makes this a must-read for any Dresden fan. The art, however, leaves a lot to be desired. Maybe its just me, but all the females look really masculine, especially Murphy.

    Although, I'm sure that suits Murphy and her penis envy just fine. :/

    Over all, if I were forced to rate it, I'd say it was a three and a half out of five. The story, though, is worth a solid four.

    YES. The art on the pages is a hundred times more impressive then viewing on the PC screen, and shit the link I supplied, it's 10 bucks brand new, hardcover. I'll upload some pics when I can, it's amazing. Worth twice that much easy.
