    Well, now it's time for opinions! Other than the downtime earlier (which was not Litespeed Webserver related, but rather another website on Apache freaking out), how has it performed so far? Fast? Faster than before? Does it seem to handle your requests better? Give me your opinions. Just a note, it's the same exact server, only a dedicated webserver application just for PatronusCharm and DLP.

    It's working just a little bit faster for me.

    And BTW, how's PC coming?

    The speed difference won't be huge, but it's certainly a notable improvement. PC is coming well, though I need time to work on it. Currently, I've had little to no time to work on HoS or EoH, let alone PC.

    I actually haven't noticed any difference at all, but I usually spam open about a dozen tabs and then read through them rather than browsing properly, so maybe it's just my fault.

    I've noticed a significant increase in server perfomance lately.

    But maybe that's cos I'm using another computer that has a working HDD :D

    I think it's working faster, but then again this site has always worked fast for me.

    Yes, a little bit faster, but I don't know how reliable I am.

    Sweden --> US - US --> Sweden. ~150 ms

    I have to go through 18 routers to get to the webserver. A lot of things can happen on the way.

    I'm sitting here on a midwestern USA university line and it is noticeably faster. It wasn't slow before, but some pages just pop right up.

    Although I have noticed no change in how long it sometimes takes for me to click "Submit" on a post before the page reloads to 5 second timeout page (or however long). Sometimes those come up quick, sometimes it seems to sit there submitting for a few seconds before getting anywhere.

    So it could be serving and spitting out the pages quicker, but taking in and writing posts into the database slower. Dunno.

    There isn't much of an overhead on writing to the DB, but it's there. Probably just your connection though.

    Ouch. That sucks Zev. Anyway, I haven't noticed a difference. But thats kinda because Optimum is being a bitch and going in and out of service today.

    It seems to be working really fast for me, but that might just be I'm using my mother's computer and her DSL totally beats my dialup.

    Pages load faster for me. Whereas before, it took around 5 seconds to enter the 'reply' page but ever since the upgrade, it feels faster. Pages are loaded almost instantly.

    Excellent! I'm glad everything is working better. It's also reduced load on the server, as this web server is both faster and more efficient than Apache.
