I remember reading this a while back, discovered it again, and thought "hey this may just be library worthy."

The writing is better than most of the stuff that's out there. If you like a little fluff, that's there as well as a little action.

    4/5

Don't be disheartened folks from what I have skimmed over this is Harry-centric (I skimmed to chapter 4). I'm going back now to read it :D

    You sure this is Harry/Tonks?

I almost finished chapter six and this doesn't seem to change from the typical angsty (and Badly, IMO) Harry/Hermione.

    Pffffffft

I'll save my score for when I finish it, or when I can't take anymore (and for the looks of it, it will be the latter, and soon) but as of now, this doesn't do it for me. Boring as hell.

    Um, quoting the author's bio:
So perhaps the character listing is just a red herring or a mistake.

No it's not a mistake. I remember reading this a while back and it being about average 3/5. Nothing really special to set it apart from the rest of the crowd.

I have to agree. I started reading it, got bored at one point, skipped some chapters and read the 2nd to last chapter.

And Harry having no hate for anything? That's just ridiculous. Everyone has hate. As the Librarian says in Dawn of War: "There is no innocence, only degrees of guilt."

The story get's a 2 at the most from me. Plus it's Herman/Harry anyway. Ugh. I mean sure the writing's great an all, but I just can't stand that pairing, even if Herman is OC. I just picture her as a beaver in some way.

    It's H/Hr with mentions of past H/T.

It would have been more right to list the pairing as H/Hr, as that's the final one.

    Did you just write...Herman?

I'm sorry, I don't know of a 'Herman' in the Harry Potter series. If you're trying to use some incredibly witty and sarcastic derogatory name to display your loathing for the character known as Hermione Granger, you've failed.

'Herman' ranks right up there with 'Dumbles' and 'The Dark Tosser.'

    Allow me to elaborate:

    Herman:

    1: Herman <-- A free online webcomic

2: Herman Melville <-- An American Novellist from the late 19th Century

3: Saint Herman of Valaam <-- An 11th century founder of the Valaam Monastery in Karelia

4: Herman <-- A giant german type of rabbit

5: Herman <-- A nice little village in Nebraska

6: Herman <-- not a fucking nickname for your fanboyish hatred of a fictional character of all things.

In conclusion: OOOOH! YOU'RE SO FUNNY! HOW ORIGINAL! I'VE NEVER HEARD THAT ONE BEFORE! HA-HA-HA-HA!

    Seriously though, don't do it.

And it's not bad, Fluffy, Since I like HHr and Honks this is pretty good for me. I think I started reading it a long time ago but stopped for some reason. 3/5 from me, A little to much fluff.

Lawl. Beautiful but clumsy original female character. Twilight served to debunk that quite adequately, but some people just don't get a clue.

    1/5

Harry/Tonks probably nets more readers. But the thought of Harry leaving Tonks for Hermione - Hermione - is pretty hilarious.

I don't care what the little girl says. I call her Herman because she's ugly. I don't call the characters I loathe their full names. I'm not making fun of or insulting the character by calling her Herman for humor reasons. I'm calling her Herman because her personality is more male than female, in my opinion.

To #6: Nope, wrong. Not a fanboy of people who like to control other people or try to intimidate people by being bossy. Shoot the bitch in the head. It isn't "fanboyism" as you claim it is. I loathe people that are bossy little twats like she. It's why I call her Herman. Don't like me saying it? Tough shit, don't read it. Simple as that. Not going to argue with it anymore. Good night to you.

I started getting twitchy at the third.

I don't care what your motivations are, saying HERMAN for Hermione is just plain retarded. Last I checked we didn't like retardation too much on these boards -- and if "Dumbles" and "The Dark Tosser" aren't tolerated, I don't see why lame first-grader nicknames like "Ginslut" or "Herman" would be. We GET IT that you don't like her, you're stating it every few posts. Please find another way to express it that doesn't suggest your intellectual development stopped at the age of twelve.

As a side-note, I understand why people wouldn't like Hermione -- Shezza isn't a fan himself if I remember correctly -- but if you think her personality is more male than female... boy, you have a lot to learn.

The summary said clearly Harry was with Hermione and had been for a long time, dark secrets or not. Don't like Hermione? Don't fucking read it, at least you won't have to post about how you're disappointed that it is, indeed, Harry/Hermione; and consequently you won't make me want to stab someone in the eye.

Look at that thing. Seriously, it looks more the part of a stuffed animal than a living, er, animal.
