    - Seriously the best of its kind I've ever read. You wouldn't guess from the summary, but I'd say it is  (besides the concept) pretty much original. Uhuh. It is just the one chapter, but oh-so-worth-it.

I laughed at the math and statistics at the beginning but other than that... It's an OK one-shot.

It is the best rendition of what happened that night that I have ever seen, but it is in the end pointless.

One-shots are plot bunnies that never grow up, Flowers that never bloom. When you finish reading one you should wonder what happens next and yet at the same time be satisfied with what is there.

You get neither with this one-shot. You don't wonder what happens next because as far as it indicates the plot line will follow Canon afterwards. You are not satisfied either because you don't get anything out of it, nothing is learned just an elongation of facts already known.

It is written well but in the end it is pointless. I think it would have served better as an introduction to a story, perhaps of Harry gaining Lily's preoccupation with probability.

It was alright for a one-shot. It was readable, and it was a good idea about how Lily couldn't escape, etc. However, as already mentioned in the past, it was pointless and boring otherwise. 2/5. Good thing this isn't in the Library.

Short and to the point but absolutely pointless as someone already said. I'm sorry but a one shot should at least leave somewhere where the reader is satisfied that it is what it is.

It fails at this, and is weird to boot.

1/5. Readable if you're in a short wait for the dentist...thats about it really. Beats the Time Magazine on the end table proclaiming Franklin Roosevelt man of the year, and even then...not by much.

I don't think the author bothered to check back to the third book where J. K. Rowling wrote down, practically word-for-word, the dialogue between Lily and Voldemort that night. Altough I'll give them kudos for making it 900 words long, I sort of got the feeling of it being sugarcoated. Everything seemed so... hopeful. Disgustingly hopeful. I imagined that night to be more desperate than hopeful, and most of all, there should be more fear. Also, it mentioned that Lily 'never heard Voldemort before'. Didn't it say in the fifth book that Lily faced Voldemort three times already? If I could point out so many faults...
2/5, and I'm probably being generous.
