I was wondering if anyone else here read Simon Scarrow's books. For those unaware, he writes two series at the moment. The more developed, Eagle series, presenting the life and adventures of two Roman Centurions, Marco and Cato in the Roman Empire at its height, through invasions of Britannia, life on the Rhine frontier, defence of Palmyra etc.

And the other, which I actually find more interesting is the Revolution Quartet, portraying the lives of Napoleon Bonaparte and the Duke of Wellington, of which the first two books have appeared.

Anyone interested in such matters, I highly recommend them. To those who are already fans, discussions, interested?
