Ok, I've had a few days off and for some reason decided on making a drawing about one of my stories [Earth's Emissary]. It's unfinished at the moment and only about half way done, but I need to re-ink a few pens and what not before I can finish it. Thus, while on this stage I can change pretty much anything I want, so give me some suggestions! Oh, and take notice that that is a Japanese cherry tree, so the foliage will be white and pink when its done.



I'm an architect, so I don’t draw this kind of thing and this is my first try, if anyone has any tips, let me know as well, eh?

 

I like it! The earth by his hand looks a little to "real" for the pic though. But since it's unfinished you still may be able to make it work!

 

yup i agree with that although a dark backround etc may sort that out

 

I like it just the way it is. Don't change the Earth shot, it gives the pic two major focal points.

 

nah i think it overpowers the rest of the pic, tone down the earth!

The earth looks like its cut in afterwards, which ruins the pic.

Anyways, the earth is there just so you know what goes in there, which means that a nice drawn one will replace it. I just need to get my 0.1 ink-thingy its cartridge so I can do it and all that rot.

 

The earth looks too... real. other than that, it's ok. Other than faceless.

 

Thats probably because it is a pic of the real Earth? I think that that one sprite that helps him at first on his shoulder would be cool. Just a thought.

 

I think it looks pretty good. Can't wait to see the finished product.
