What is your personal gaming mouse, and for what type of game? (Example: MS intelli pro 5000, MMORPG). There can be (and most likely have been here) debates on what is the "best" mouse for gaming, however these are hardly productive, so I'm just curious what *you* like best.

Personally, I'm a big fan of the old fashion ball mice. They're so hard to find these days that I literally stole a bunch from my job before I was let go. I can't use those new fangled laser mice, just not precise enough for me.

90% sure there's a thread for this already.

    Edit: Yea here.

*cough* I should have searched >_>.

    My bad :(.

Edit-If I *really* wanted to argue the point, I could point out that I specifically said that I wasn't asking for the *best* gaming mouse, just what people personally think works best for them. Not that I'm that petty, nope, certainly not me.

Skykes thinks he's so cool, using search feature. It tells you at the bottom of the page. D:

Also, like I said in the last one, best gaming mouse is anything with a cord, or something along that root.

Ball mice are inferior in so many ways nowdays. Responce is shit. DPI is shit. Everything about them is shit compared to common technology now days and even more shit compared to the latest technology.

That said, Logitech MX518 is what I use. not as heavy as the higher models people usually get and a bit less sensitivity as I like fine control. Also, must use a mousepad aswell.

Believe me, I know. I can use a laser okay, I have a G5 I like well enough, but I just can't play any FPS with it. Much less twitch gaming like Quake Live or Urban Terror. It's not precise enough for me, I end up shooting above peoples heads instead of blowing their brains out =/.

I have a standard Microsoft lazer/wireless mouse that I love. However I don't play FPS games on my computer, just RTS and RPGs. It also has a setting on click sensitivity which really helps when grouping units and such.

I've been using a Razer Copperhead for a couple of years. It works for me.

I currently use a Logitech G5 with all 36g weights in it. As you can tell i like a heavy mouse.

I play MMORPGs' and some fps, Rainbow six 3 and Bf2.

I'm using a Microsoft Sidewinder 400/800/2000 dpi toggle buttons(adjustable) nice weights in the bottom, macro buttons(keystrokes, clicks and the timing between them, no mouse movement though recording though).

I'll let the thread go for now, considering it's more specific than the previous.
