    Title: Letters
    Author: SugaredPoison
    Rating: T
    Genre: Dark
DLP: ...probably AU, in this case
    Pairing: none
    Published: March 16, 2009
Status: Oneshot (2,733 words, so excruciatingly short, but well-executed)

I'm honestly not sure about throwing this in here... honestly, it's really kind of creepy (and a bit chilling, when I think about it) and a pretty solid oneshot nonetheless despite its shortness, but I'm not sure I agree with Harry's characterization. I'd honestly try and elaborate more on the plot, but the fic is so short that I'd give away the big plot twist if I said more. I'd rate it 4/5 for originality and fairly decent writing, and the way For Review is looking, it could get good reviews.

Nice find. You may want to edit your post to conform to how things are usually done.

As far as the story is concerned, it's one of the better shorter pieces I've read in quite some time. I consider it a good candidate for the Library even though it's perhaps too short a story for many people's tastes.

    4 stars.

    Brilliant.

It's short, but it conveys everything it needs to without feeling rushed so I can't really call that a flaw.

I love the idea, the stlye and I'm a sucker for Hedwig so I have no problems giving this a firm five stars.

Yeah, I like this one too. It is a bit short, but it still works. 4/5

This was a bit emo for my taste, and the "big twist" was obvious early on.

Logic fails me for this story.

So he was in a cell in Azkaban the whole time, but thought his friends were still out fighting? I don't know...the premise just seems illogical. But it was well written and enjoyable to read.

Hedwig has an awfully good memory. At most this is a 3/5. It was alright but it certainly wasn't all right, if you catch my drift.

Logic might be aganist this story, but the feeling the story gave and the writing were defenitely not aganist it.

Meh. The plot is OK, but the way it was written failed to move me at all.

It also really didn't make a whole lot of sense. The most satisfying victory is your enemy not knowing wtf is going on or that you've defeated him? Orly? 2.5/5

Does Harry look undefeated to you?

What happened to Harry is a lot worse than losing a duel.

One shot was nice. Nothing incredible, but well written for what it was trying to be.

Decent little one-shot. Not mind-blowingly good, but solid. It lacked emotional impact, and the descriptions of the various deaths felt very rushed.

I read it, and my whole reaction can be summed up in three letters, meh. It's not a fic I enjoyed particularly, solidly written with a bit of a bad penchant for stringing sentences along unnecessarily.

It's alright if you have nothing better to do, I would actually support it's entrance into the library merely as a contrast to a lot of the other stuff in there.

I'm more than a little annoyed at how everyone died so farking uselessly, it was badly done.

My own personal preference would be to give it a 3/5 for being a fic I didn't enjoy, however I think it's original premise and decent writing should get it into the library I'll give it a 4/5.

Quite a good find. Its well written with minimal errors. But was I the only one who felt that Hedwig seemed too 'human'? She may be an intelligent owl, but she's still an owl. The whole array of emotions she seems to feel, like say heartache, seemed a bit strange.

Apart from that a quite entertaining if short read.

    I give it 4/5.

2/5 from me. Besides passable grammar and spelling this one-shot doesn't offer me anything I'd want. It features way!too!intelligent!Hedwig and pussy!Harry, lacks any interesting plot and generally didn't hold my interest.

It was... boring. And, as trooper said, Hedwig is far too human.

I dunno, I liked it regardles of how human Hedwig was. I do think that there wouldn't be much taken out of the story if it was written without Hedwig being intelligent, but I felt like it was a nice complete story, even though it was a one shot. Very sad too.

I can't believe I actually read past the tenth paragraph. Lets see, pussy!Harry. Thats a strike. Too much love going on between Potter and Herman and Weasel, thats an other strike.

Other than passable grammar, and a plot that isn't overly cliched. I've seen stories like this before....they aren't common but not exactly original either.

I give it over all a 2/5. It might be worthy of the recycling bin but not much else.
