So what? I've seen this posted in loads of places, what's the big deal? She's 16. Just because she's in a Harry Potter film doesn't mean she IS Hermione Granger, she has the right to be a normal teenager.

She's underage and is breaking the law. So since she's a popular girl over there in pommy ol' england the cops would be notified wouldn't they?

A. It's legal to drink alcohol if it was bought for you, you are with your parents and you are eating a meal. It's legal in a private house anyway.
B. The average age that people start drinking in England is about 15. One photo of her having a beer is not going to cause any sort of uproar.
C. The cops wouldn't care, as long as she didn't buy it. If she bought it then the bar/restaurant owner would get in trouble but that's it.
D. If this photo is on the internet then the press probably already have it.

I wasn't trying to antagonise anyone but the thread title was "Granger Drinking" Not "Watson Drinking". Sorry if I came across as antagonistic. No offence was intended.

Teen drinking isn't a big deal... Now if she was completely trashed and hooking up with a random stranger then it would be different, but as she is not it doesn't really matter.

 

Emma Watson, unless I'm mistaken, would be around 16 now. That means that she can legally enter a pub.
