So IE8 had just come out and apparently isnt totally shit. Anyone here got it?

I doubt I will change back from FF since there seems to be no reason to, FF still has better feautres or the same features from what I can tell.

    Yeah.

It's better (cause they really couldn't get much worse) but despite little "innovations" like web slices and accelerators, the thing is still too slow and cumbersome. And the low, low acid3 rating is yet another reason not to adopt it.

Pish. That's like saying you'd choose a broken wheeled car because somebody just fitted it with half of a new engine.

IE8 is slow but other than that the only real problem so far is i have to retype my username's and password's everytime i go to a website.

I'd choose Opera/Firefox over IE8 anyday. So it didn't really come as a surprise when people starting grumbling about Microsoft's latest fuck-up. I upgraded to IE8 anyway and so far, I'm hating it. Slow as hell -- looks a lot better but overall shitty interface. No embedded font (.eot) support -- which is a real bitch when you're browsing sites that do not use default OS fonts. Still no mouse gesture support. Fuck IE8. Opera ftw.
