As above, it's a novelisation of C&C3 with an incredibly poignant style of writing. It shows war very realistically, keeping the humanity to it even with all the futuristic tech everywhere. The motivations of the main characters are explored and often brought into question. You see the leaders direct from the rear and the soldiers fight on the front lines. Both sides of the war are given pretty even screen time, and both get a fair chance, neither are true good or true evil. If you've got a weak stomach you may wanna give this one a miss though, there's some pretty gory stuff.
