Just got my first book...

    Sadly Turncoat from a bookstore nearby and I decided to take it anyway. Since I already know enough from the wikis and the sample chapters online, I'm up to speed on much of the stuff in the book. I'm seriously liking Dresden and his attitude through the book. Epic shit, but the whole skinwalker thing took me for a loop. Seriously, Butcher couldn't find anything else to overpower him with? (Only up to 220, so...)

    EDIT: nearly done, and I'm speechless. FUCK YES TO THE BUTCHER. Awesome shit. :D

    Absolutely should have started with Storm Front. They're decent stories on their own, but a lot of what makes the Dresden series so good is the evolution of the characters and their relationships over time.

    But hey, if you know what's going on already, Turn Coat is pretty damn epic.

    Some series you can start half way through or just pick up whenever. This isnt one of them. Summer Knight is where it really starts getting interesting, but make no mistake the first 3 are good books.

    We got a tight fianancial situation right now. I bought the book on e-points. Since they already got me Book 13 of the Wheel of Time along with this and Red October, I'm not gonna push.
