I watched Movies 1 and 4 today. Interesting how the actors have changed, Emma-I love her to death- has gotten a bit more whinny *Yule Ball*. Daniel was so cute when he was eleven, now he's just a wannabe Harry that gets into laughing fits. Rupert needs a new facial expression. I love the dude that plays Lucious though, he's in The Patriot. Richard Harris, I had a little attack in my living room because I was mad he was dead. Couldn't he have lasted till the 6th book and die on set?

Happily done. I raise my non-existent glass to him. On another note, Alan Rickman is and always will be Snape to me.

Eep! I forgot him! I love Alan, he is my second favorite bad guy. I want to see him kill off the new Dumbledore badly.

I don't like Rickman as Snape because he is to good looking.

Snape is supposed to be a nasty greasy git with acne scars.

But yes, I too voted for "Old Dumbledore" and cannot wait for new Dumbledore to die.

*passes Lady R a 40 oz to pour out on Old Dumbledore's grave*

The guy that plays lucius is may favourite by far. Well, he has one of my favourite bits out of the films. In Diagon Alley, "Now now Draco, play nicely" I loved that bit.

Tom Felton is the best of the younger ones. I loved it when he says "I didnt know you could read" to the polyjuiced Harry

I dont quite want Gambon to die, but I would rather he were replaced... Although he could do the OotP Dumbledore quite well...

Not that i care too much because i hated the 4th film

I voted for Richard Harris because he was a great Dumbledore. He fit the personality of the Headmaster perfectly. I raise my glass of sparkling cider in his honor.

I agree with Jason Issacs as Lucius and Richard Harris as Dumbledore, but I'm going to add in another one. Robbie Coltrane as Hagrid. I don't think they could have possibly picked a better actor for him. Coltrane and Hagrid are inseperable in my book. Richard Griffiths as Uncle Vernon was also a perfect match.

Not especially. She did look good at the Yule Ball though, according to pictures I've seen. I still haven't actually watched the GoF movie and am in no particular rush to. I in fact resent that motion picture heavily due to the inexorable amounts of shitty Cedric/Cho fics that it's spawned.

the movie gave rise to many Harry/Cedric's as well...

I love Uncle Vernon in the third movie, his eyes bulge out and he looks like a cross-eyed walrus, like in the books!

^ Has read (and enjoyed) many of those Harry/Cedric fanfics *snickers* :)

Yeah, Vernon is exactly how I pictured him... But Dudley is to skinny... They needed to get one of those 900 pound babies that are on the Maury Povitch show every 2 weeks.

Alan Rickman does a good Snape, he act's according to the character. I think though the problems most of us have with him, is his makeup. He's not as greasy haired, albino, acne ridden, skinny weirdo we all imagined.

    Quoted for truth.

I like Rickman as Snape, regardless of not being horrid as many pictured him, his facial expressions alone bring the character to life

    Inside YOUR closet. Go check.
    My actor list

    1. Richard Harris
You drank like a fish until you're dying day, but you lived life on your terms, and MAN were you talented! Rest in Peace (I'm agnostic)

    2. Allan Rickman
First you give a GREAT performance as Hans in Die Hard, then you're in Dogma, and NOW THIS!! Allan Rickman, is there anything you can't do?

    3. Tom Felton
YOU GENIUS! You ABSOLUTE GENIUS! You are most talented Albino EVER IN THE WHOLE WIDE WORLD!

    4. Maggie Smith
    Who else could play McGonagall?

    5. Emma Watson
Jailbait. But man, if anything was ever worth going to jail over....
    (plus she's good)

And that's about it. Everyone else, I either am indifferent to (Yes, YOU Robbie Coltraine), or I dislike :glares at Rupert Grint:

Tom Felton is such a little wuss on screen. He's PERFECT. Then he got hot, so now he's eyecandy.
