:| Nice artwork but the huge blatant text puts me off of it.

His left hand seems fully healed. He's not wearing the glove. Or maybe that's an error.

(Actually, I don't remember if he stopped wearing the glove in Turn Coat or not. I only read it once, and that was the few days after it came out. So maybe that's an error on my part. >_>)

Sion the covers don't really reflect the happenings in the book, especially little cosmetic details like that.

He's worn it in a few other covers. Definitely in Small Favor and Proven Guilty. His hand's covered by smoke or mist in White Night, and it's not in view on the Turn Coat or Dead Beat cover.

    Still, you're probably right.

His left hand seems pretty scarred to me.

Yeah, the hand holding the staff is either pretty well scarred or else the artist screwed up the coloring.

Is the hand holding the staff (left) the correct one to be scarred? I can't remember.

Yes, his left hand got burned to a crisp, when his shield didn't block heat. See Blood Rites.

And always remember, the covers are almost a running gag now - Harry does NOT wear a damn hat. I think the artist likes painting covers that have little to do with the actual story.

Covers always make him look more brawny than how the books describe him. It kinda makes his imposing height not so imposing. Just my impression. I am not a big fan of the covers for their reflection of the character.

Yes, I remembered his hand was burned to a crisp in Blood Rites, I remembered it was because his shield only blocked energy and not the heat, I know it was Mavra who was tossing Napalm at him, Murphy, and Kincaid, and I remember that McCoy fixed it up well enough afterwards for him to be able to deal with the pain for a brief time... I just didn't remember if it was his left or right hand. Left though, got it. ;)

Hah, and yeah, I think I saw Jim Butcher complaining about the hat on his forums too. I think they tried to put the TV-Dresden in a hat and he veto'd it. :Awesome

Good cover. The book though, I hate Susan, and the whole kid thing annoys the shit out of me. I want to see him more going Apeshit versus Shagnasty, then playing Mr. Hero again.
