I've been reading this series by Steven Erikson and wanted to share my thoughts. I'm almost done with the fourth book- House of Chains - and I must say so far this guy has done exceptionally well to pull off such an ambitious project.

The way he has incorporated all the different characters into the series as well as give them an identity of their own, in addition to both the fantasy and military aspects is spectacular. Add to this Gods with a very Greek/Roman feel and you have a truly wonderful series.

    Your opinions on the series?

It's an excellent series, and it keeps getting better as it goes on. My only real problem with it is that there are books that don't have all the major characters in them which makes it hard to remember what was going on with them by the time the next book comes out. It also gets even better your second read through.

It's infinitely awesome. Best fantasy I've read.
