Just got finished reading World War Z. Got an urdge to read some more books that have to do with a zombie apocalypse. So any suggestions from other horror fans.

 

Zombie Survival Guide by Max Brooks.

I Am Legend by Richard Matheson, though that's less about zombies and more about vampire-like creatures. Still awesome though, and recommended solely because of Will Smith's film version of it.

 

I guess it is worth mentioning that I did find a hp!zombie Apocalypse fic although it is not very far along.

The writer just happens to be me -_- been about ~5 months since I've written anything in it.

 

David Wellington's Monster Island trilogy.

Stephen King's Cell was about the majority of the population turning into mindless psychos, but it's a good story of survival among monsters.

 

Don't know if you would count graphic novels, but The Walking Dead by Robert Kirkman definitely stands out.

 

I read I am Legend back a bit before the movie came out. I like the books ending better than the movies. It just seemed more badass.

I want to read more of this. If you would be so kind as to continue I would be a happy fan.

Yea I followed this for awhile but stopped after the they got into the battle with the town. Just kinda lost interest in it.

 

This could be your lucky day. I started the fic originally after I got the sudden urge to watch Dawn of the Dead and 28 Days Later. Now I just have read a fic on Harry's mystery pairing girl that has given me the urge to write more to this fic. Also, since it is so short I can do a lot of editing and reworking since not much has happened yet.
