Beginner's Texts on WWI/WWII

    Hey, I've recently developed a rather intense interest in military history during the World Wars, specifically how the various tactics/strategies of the times evolved to the basics of what we have now. The problem is that I have very little idea of would constitute the basic texts that would give a good overall view of the conflicts, and more in depth ones on the tactics of the British Empire in WWI (to start off with).

    So could any of you other historically minded members of DLP give me some suggestions for beginner texts?

    Not sure what one would consider beginner texts but anything by Antony Beevor has more than enough information to satisify any fan of history.

    Damn near anything written by James Keegan. Look 'im up. Everything he writes is easy to read, almost flows like a novel, but so full of detail you feel like you were there. And he specialises in the World Wars.
