Summary: What started as DLP being our typical internet tough guy selves on some new member's terribad story about some wolves no one gives a fuck about has turned into a legendary crackfic.

A heartwarming story about the power of the Full Body Bind curse, Hagrid's appreciation for Harry being a wizard (an' a thumpin' good'un at tha'!) and Dumbledore being a grea' man, Malfoy's ponciness and subsequent fall to faggotry, the uselessness of sparkly vampires, the destruction of authorial self-insertions, the insertional explorations of 12-year-old witches while thinking about Gilderoy Lockhart, an old queen's mesmerization when confronted by vampires that sparkle in the moonlight, a half-giant's ability to use recently-slaughtered werewolves as bowling balls, and one boy's attempts to get the fuck away from it all.

You'll laugh, you'll cry, you'll touch yourself to new sensations in the naughty place.

Feel free to contribute chapters if you don't suck.

EDIT: Forgot to mention, first chapter is what convinced us to make fun of the new member, the comedy starts in chapter 2.

This is awesome. Won't offer criticism since I wrote part of it... but yeah, each author chipping in with some humour really made this.

We'll have to work on that summary, kmfrank.

It's informative but lacks the lulz.

 

Summary: What started as a poor attempt at a drabble has since evolved into an insightful piece of literary gold. An inspiring tale of one boy and the obstacles he must overcome to preserve his fleeting sanity, and all those working against him. Join six brave authors in their quest to unlock the secrets of teh Sparkly Hufflepuff.

Not very lulzy, but it gets the point across.

Great story so far. 4/5 for what I've seen; keep up the good work!

The lulz are strong with this one. 5/5 would sparkle again.

 

Good work. It was Palindrome and IdSayWhyNot upping the ante and outdoing each other, then enembee entered the scene and set up for the halfway decent finale.

 

If it gets any more awesome, my head'll asplode. 9001/9000.

Summary: Harry and Edward meet up in the forbidden Forest! what hijinks will they get up to... and who will Bella chose?

It's not at all lulzy, but it'll lure innocent fangirls in and then the lulz will be strong.

 

I don't think this is about luring in wide-eyed fangirls, but writing an amusing crackfic for our enjoyment. Personally, fangirls can fap, fap (squish, squish?) all they want to whatever it is they like. Mah Sparkly Hufflepuff does not troll.

A lulzy summary would have to be similar to the tone of the story. IMO, the reader has to know he's going for humour, not cheap romance with a half-ass plot.

 

I don't usually enjoy crack fics, but honestly this one is just brilliant. It picks up at around chapter five or so - and from there just gets funnier and funnier.

Great puns, interesting scenarios and events - Edwardmort still makes me snicker, and Hagrid is so hilariously awesome it's almost cute. I've just re-read the entire thing again and it still doesn't fail to entertain, despite my first two contributions being written in literally twenty minutes or so on notepad with no double-checking.

After that, with everyone else's contributions, this intro-hijack turned into something beautiful - making this without a doubt the only crack series I have ever enjoyed. And all because I got bored and asked CareOtters to write me a story. If we start to lose pace again I will gladly contribute more.

5/5 - Lols were had.

 

Moral of the story: when bored, seek lulz.

I couldn't stop laughing through the last chapter. People need to write more lulzy awesome fics about the God that is Gilderoy Lockhart.

 

Okay, I just wrote a piece and emailed it to KmFrank.

Hopefully, he'll write something to blend it with the rest of the story, otherwise it'll probably work best as an Omake/stand alone scene.

 

This was such a great thing to watch unfold. It was like a majestic orca whale breaching the surface of the ocean, being ridden by Arnold Strong from "Hercules in New York". With a flamethrower.

The drabble, admittedly wasn't that good a piece of work.

But I'm improving I think. For example, if you compare the thing I just posted in WBA to the drabble in the intro thread, the improvement is undeniable.

But why should I like a mockery? I am not under any compulsion or obligation to like anything in particular. It is my free will to vote the way I want and I will not be dictated to by the will of the majority.

I can say I like it but it would be a lie, and I really dont want to lie just for a bit of popularity.

Anyways, that's all I really have to say about Harry Potter and teh Sparkly Hufflepuff.
