Looking for a Hikaru No Go fanfiction that didn't have Hikaru in it. It starts out with this OC watching Sai walk into a tea/shop/resturant/inn thing and it is set while Sai was still alive teaching the ruler of Japan's son Go. It is mostly from the female OC's view point and I want to read it again by sheer virtue of the fact that it wasn't slash.

Any other non-slash Hikaru No Go fics you have will be accepted as well.

 

The Neverending Road. The best HnG fanfic and one of the best fanfic ever. It's like reading continuation of manga and not a fan story.

EDIT: Don't let genre fool you it's not angst but general.

 

If you'd like other recommendations then I've a few.

Watch and Learn is my favourite Hikaru No Go story so far. Its sequel seems to have potential, too, but I haven't enjoyed that as much yet.

I don't really remember too much about those stories, though. It's been a while since my foray into the Hikaru No Go fandom.

 

Watch and Learn and Stepping Stones were the best Hikaru no Go fics in my opinion, when I went through that series. Watch and Learn is quite... slashy, though. It's written by -edit brainfart-, the slash style and overtones can be against it, if you really hate slash. Me, I think that for that series, Hikaru/Sai is the only true pairing.
