Run MSI Files in win7?

    Hey I am trying to run some old software and unfortuantely the only copy I have of it is a .msi file. I have tried a bunch of times with "fixes" from Google but I have had no luck.

    Anyone have any ideas?

    That are files for the Microsoft installer. Normally the latest version should be installed and older files should work with the latest as well. Up to now I only had one file where the Installer wasn't able to process the old msi file.

    Do you actually have a problem with the installer or does the software just not run?
