I have been searching for some good fan-fiction about Chuck for some time now and have yet to find any fanfiction.net is full of crap as usual.

So can anyone recommend any good Chuck fan-fiction?

 

I know only one - What Fates Impose by Frea O'Scanlin. I love it, because it reminds me so much of time when Chuck didn't have the Intersect 2.0. As much as I liked idea of spymaster Chuck for some time, this show was so much better before this change.

 

I second What Fates Impose. Easily the best fic in the fandom imo. Clear writing, amazing dialogues( with numerous references to nerdy things) and excellent characterization. The update rate slowed a bit since the beginning of the year but Frea usually post at least one chapter each month now.

Otherwise I remember liking Chuck vs the Strange Bedfellows

Chuck vs the Simple Twist of Fate

AU - The world can change from a butterfly flapping its wings. If Bryce was unable to remove Chuck from the CIA watch list, how would that change Chuck? Or current CIA recruit Bryce? Or Fulcrum recruit Jill?

Best Chuck fiction I have read. Rest of ffn is crap.

 

Chuck vs. the Burn Notice is a well written crossover between Burn Notice and Chuck. I loved it!

There's another crossover with Pushing Daisies but I'm not sure if that will be your cup of tea because not many people watched the show.

 

I don't read Chuck, or watch it, but I get most of my fanfiction recs from tvtropes.

 

Oooh, Chuck, my favorite TV fandom. Glad to see What Fates Impose already listed, imo it's one of the best stories (some would say the best) in the fandom. Unfortunately, the majority of what ffnet has to offer is mediocre at best, but there are a few gems that haven't been listed here:

Walker's Eleven by Moonlight Pilot
Summary: Not the same plot as the movie. Sarah Walker never got out of the con game or became a spy, and now she's on her final con. What happens when true love and betrayal get added to the mix? Twists, turns, and Jeffster!

My take: One of my favorite Chuck stories. Funny and well written, with the characterizations very well done. Complete, too!

Chuck vs the Double Agent by mxpw
I won't c/p the summary bc it's been updated to reflect the current going-ons of the the story and as such is a bit of a spoiler, but rest assured this is a great drama, and incidentally the first Chuck fanfic I read. It was a great introduction, to say the least! Basically features a Sarah who defected from the CIA and did some Bad Things and who, unluckily for her, has just been captured by said agency. Unfortunately hasn't been updated in a while but what's there is great. From what I understand the author isn't planning to update again until he finishes writing the story.

Charles vs His Destiny by Arathorn73
Summary: AU. The CIA and Fulcrum never reached Stanford in 2002. It has really changed Chuck, Bryce, Sarah, and others. Will the future be significantly different, too, or are some things just inevitable?

My take: To be completely honest, I haven't read this fic, but have heard good things about it, and it comes highly recommended by the likes of Frea O'Scanlin (author of What Fates Impose) and mxpw, both popular authors in the fandom. Complete as well.
