    I'm looking for stories where Naruto is seen as a hero by the village from the day he was born. No OC mentors or team mates, no living parents, no slash, but other than that anything where Naruto isn't treated like garbage for his entire childhood is fine.

    You've been lurking for a while so you probably know this one, but Across Dimensions: Parting Reality's Veil by our very own Taliath. Not precisely what you're asking since everyone believed the Kyuubi was dead, but it fits your last criteria. You can find extra snippets in WbA.
