Found the first teaser trailer for Daniel Radcliffe's new film, which is a Victorian era (or before, can't guess just from that) horror that looks pretty cool from the trailer.

I'm actually tempted to keep track of this, perhaps see it in the cinema when it comes out. A good Victorian horror (like Sleepy Hollow) is good for you on occasion.

Looks nice. I'll probably watch it just to see Daniel's acting outside HP(Don't count that godforsaken December Boys). I'm hoping the movie will actually be good, but for some reason, I don't think it will. Hollywood hasn't been scary in quite a while. >_>

It actually looks like a good movie, tbh.

It might not be ground-breaking or really terrifying (at least, from the trailer), but Radcliffe is looking decidedly non-Potter, and the creepy girl voicing the poem was a nice touch.

I'll be keeping track of this too.

Somehow Radcliffe looks taller in there. Anyway, cool trailer and the girl's voice is very creepy. I'm looking forward to it.

This could legitimize him as a actor and not harry potter. looks actually kinda freaky. I'd be interested to see him do something non Harry Potter where he keeps his pants on. I lol'd hard when he was on Extra's

Saw this on stage in London. It's an excellent play, very drama student-y, but excellent nonetheless.

Provided they don't take this to nonsensical levels it'll be pretty good.

Actually looks pretty good, definitely worth keeping track of. Looks fairly spooky as well.

Very true, looks surprisingly good with sideburns, didn't even make be go 'oh look, Harry Potter.'

Will watch, am curious if Radcliff can make us see him as a different character.

I barely recognized him in that clip of him on Broadway.

And yeah, I don't think he needs to be legitimized as an actor, I think he said in an interview he did eight shows a week of that gay-ass show. Kid has the work ethic, and he's not bad acting-wise. I guess we found the Harrison Ford of the HP trio.

Well, I definitely can see Rupert and Emma as the Mark Hamill and the Carrie Fisher of HP in the future. ;)

Atleast Emma has done other stuff aside from HP.
    Rupert..... Not so much.

Wild Target was actually a decent film. I don't remember Emma in anything besides the HP films.

And we've already talked about how RG has no chance of going mainstream. In England where appearances matter less...maybe (they're all a bunch of ugly fuckers there anyway :awesome).

Emma Watson seems to be the one you hear about most in interviews and such. Radcliffe is busy and Grint isn't as hot so she picks up the slack.

Hey now. Rupert was awesome in Cherrybomb and Wild Target was a decent flick, so don't hate on the ginger.

But yeah, as for this, looks pretty neat in a sort-of British-y creepy horror film thing. Kinda interested to see what Radcliffe's range can do, so yeah.

    New trailer.

Still looking like it'll be worth a watch, which would make it the first ghost film I've seen in a cinema...

He looks eerily like Christian Bale.

Anyway, seems pretty decent, might check it out.

Bumped because the film is now out.

Pretty good, I thought. Radcliffe gave a very respectable performance - I don't think people are going to be saying he's finally thrown off the shadow of Harry Potter, but it's a decent start. The film itself is good as well; suitably creepy although the Woman herself does suffer a little from overexposure by the end (also the insistence on loud noises on the score and a screech everytime she moves). I'd certainly recommend it, if you like ghost stories.
