Author: Chris Myers
Summary: Three months after the events of "Polarity," Herman Schultz is slowly adjusting to life as an Avenger. But the emergence of a new strain of zombies threatens to unravel the world he fought so hard to save...
The sequel to the awesome 'Polarity'. With over fifty thousand words as of the latest chapter, I figured it's finally long enough to submit here. If not, at least people know it exists now.
It's worth pointing to the thread for Polarity, the first story in this series. 11 votes, 5.0 average. I hadn't even heard of the Shocker until Polarity [and Shocker Legit] came out, but it's well worth reading. Polarity is required reading before touching Transistor. https://forums.darklordpotter.net/showthread.php?t=14892
I've been enjoying this sequel so far, but it's too early for me to rate it properly. Whereas we were thrown straight into a zombie apocalypse in the previous story, this one is taking it's sweet time. It looks like the heroes will be dealing with running zombies this time. There have been a lot of words spent on world building. We're shown and told about the changes that have happened since the events of Polarity. I'd like to hurry up and get to the actual plot.
That gripe aside, this seems to be more of the same, and I was pretty damned satisfied with Polarity. A tentative 5/5.
Motherfu- They're screwed.
Story just updated. http://www.fanfiction.net/s/6958790/6/Transistor

I just noticed another update was added in early January for anyone who is following this... The Shocker's self-esteem issues can get a little old, but it'll be interesting to see how the Avengers really feel about him.

5/5, this maintains the high quality of Polarity.
It was updated yesterday.
Also this thread belongs under comics, not movies.

Link no longer works. Anyone know if this is being continued elsewhere?

From the author:
Note - I hit a major case of writer's block with "Transistor," as in three months worth of it, and realized that I had written myself into a corner and didn't have a way out of it. It's been pulled down for rewrites and repairs.
It should lumber back soon. :)
So, at some point it should be put back up.
