Episode I

SLUMBER PARTY

Turmoil has engulfed the galaxy. Many solar civilizations have fallen in a state of anarchy. Worryingly, these murmurs of discord have even reached FEMME NATION, whose ordinarily prosperous and united star-systems have begun to quarrel over the sovereignty of the industrial planet called MERRILL. Merrill is the originator of the galaxy’s main fuel – the addictive Mafiatonium.

As the political conflicts within Femme Nation escalate, trade from Merrill falls and the galaxy’s stockpiles of Mafiatonium dwindle. With starvation, tensions rise within galactic core. Fearing a descent into outright war, the Central Council of Femme Nation – led by Lady Tinn de l’Escargot and Dame Mishie Chelle – has convened an emergency conference on the dynamic city-state of OESTROGEN. Hosting several delegates who plan to sleep the nights at the symposium until a resolution is found, this all-women meeting is to be called a “Slumber Party”.

However, rumors circulate that Beastly Confederation of Witches, the radical extremists who may have instigated the conflict over Merrill, have caught wind of the Slumber Party. Ruthless in their animosity for Lady Tinn, the mysterious ringleaders of the confederation have decided to send KAIDASHIANS, a picky breed of carnivorous shapeshifters, to Oestrogen and trigger a full-scale war in one, foul, lesbian blow….

{OVERVIEW}
META MAFIA: Slumber Party is a Mafia variant (Flash Tutorial on Game Play: "Mafia" (http://www.sitesled.com/members/mikeburnfire/mafiascum04.swf)). You might be familiar with tinyhunt (https://forums.darklordpotter.net/showthread.php?t=20186) by KaiDASH, which is the actual predecessor of this game. META MAFIA: Slumber Party or “Femmafia” will be played between two teams: the uninformed majority and the informed minority. Despite what some may want, none of the girls will be allowed to play for both teams. At the beginning of the game, each player is told their role by the Game Host.

The Delegates of Femme Nation are told they are a part of Femme Nation and their awesome role. They do not know who are the other girls loyal to Femme Nation (unless otherwise stated) and are only aware of their own role. To win, the Beastly Confederation of Witches must be completely killed. During the day phase, all players (Witches included) can vote on a single girl to be executed via pillow fight and removed from the living players.

The Beastly Confederation of Witches are told their role in addition to the roles of all other Witches. They must work together to carefully get rid of Femme Nations's delegates until they are the main girl posse within the Slumber Party (and voting during the day phase is made irrelevant). During the night phase of the game, they can work together to kill another girl.

{WHAT TO DO}
The game will begin during day. During day phases, the players will be able to use the thread to communicate and discuss who among them is guilty and should be clobbered with pillows. At any time a player may submit a single vote to have another player squished under pillows. When a girl at the Slumber Party receives a simple majority of votes at any point in time, they are removed from play. Players may rescind their vote at any time (when a majority has not been reached) and cast it for someone else (so long as it is day phase). They cannot rescind their vote after a majority is reached against one player. If a majority of votes is not reached against one player by the end of the day phase, no one is squashed in the pillow fight.

During the night phase, discussion in the thread is prohibited. The Witches can collude via QuickTopics and can inform the Game Host about the individual they want to kill. Roles (such as Batshit Batmanus, Easy Cheese or Quinanya) may additionally be used during this time.

At the beginning of the next day phase, if a person was killed, she is identified by the Game Host and the process starts anew.

~~//~~

The Mechanics:

{Nightkills} Each night, the Witches can collaborate through QuickTopics to determine one person to Kill. Then, a Witch will capture the victim and eat her. The Angels’ mystical Protection will be able to stop these Kills, however.

{Spike} Each Witch can choose to, once per game, Spike the drinks on the Night of her choice. Only one Witch Spike the drinks each Night. When a Witch does so, she can Match a player to an Innocent role, one role at a time, until they are incorrect or choose to stop. Each correctly Matched player will drink a Spiked cocktail and die. The Angels cannot stop Spike, unlike ordinary Night Kills.

A successful Match will only give the 'so and so died' message. A failed Match will give a public message of the form 'Lutris attempted to SPIKE MattSilver the ’s drink, but failed.'

{Gay BFF} An honorary girl, the Gay BFF, is also attending the Slumber Party with the players. On Day 1, there will be a plurality vote to assign the Gay BFF to a galpal, who can then name the Gay BFF whomever she wants. Gay BFF always Lynch votes the same as his friend, adding an extra vote.

Moreover, the Gay BFF will perform an uber-private makeover on his galpal every Night. Consequently, the [I]Batshit Batmanus would not be able to properly investigate the galpal, blocking the check result on the galpal (i.e. The Batshit Batmanus will find that the galpal’s status is neither INNOCENT nor GUILTY, but instead BLOCKED)

If the galpal dies, the Gay BFF leaves the game. If nobody votes for someone to be awarded Gay BFF, he will be randomly assigned to a girl.

{Angels} Dead players join the Universal Female Unconsciousness and become Angels. Each Night, the Angels decide by plurality vote to Protect a player (random tiebreaks). "No Protect" is a valid vote. A successful Protection will prevent a Nightkill.

Angels get the results of Batshit Batmanus’s checks at the end of each Night. The Angels can also no longer give Protection when only 4 or fewer players remain alive.

Angels are given a QuickTopic for their own discussions.

{Overdrive} At the start of Night, a dead Witch may cast a spell of Overdrive on Living Witches, putting the Witches into a bloodlust frenzy and allowing their Kills to pierce the Angels’ Protection for that Night. After casting Overdrive, the Witch may not vote any further in Angel chat (but are still allowed to post in it). Living players are not informed of Overdrive occurring.

{Death} Roles are not revealed upon death.

{Lynching} Lynch voting is a non-compulsorily majority vote that takes place during each day phase. In this slumber party, the player would essentially fling a pillow at the target. The lynched victim would thus be clobbered by pillows during a pillow fight and thus perish. If no majority is reached, the Master of Mamo (if alive) may pick someone to lynch.

{Compulsory Lynching} Lynch voting becomes plurality vote at 4 players or less (random tiebreak), and no-lynch is not allowed. When exactly two players remain at the start of a day phase, the win goes to (in order) the Gay BFF’s galpal/Master of Mamo/Witch.

The Nessperado can tie with the Witch.

All other roles lose to a Witch 1v1.

{Day Phases & Lynch-Voting} The Day Phase will last for a maximum of 48 hours, ending instantly when a Majority Lynch vote is reached. To ensure sufficient time for discussion each day, there are now two different types of Lynch votes:

a Deadline vote, where your lynch vote will be counted at the end of the day.
a Standard vote, where your lynch vote is counted immediately.

To cast a Deadline vote, say: Deadline vote: Player
To cast a Standard vote, say: Lynch vote: Player

You can rescind or change a Deadline vote at any time before the end of the Day Phase. You can do the same for a Standard vote at any time before a Majority Lynch is reached.

Night Phases last for 24 hours.

The Possible Roles

These roles have been named with a certain adherence for lulzy roleplaying. Each potential player has already named one role after herself, appearing below.

THE FEMME NATION:

These are the people of the Town or “Femme Nation”. As the uninformed majority, they must attempt to preserve the intergalactic conference, the Slumber Party, and eradicate the Witches. They will normally do this by voting during the Day on who shall be lynched and killed in the Pillow Fight.

Batshit Batmanus (max: 1):
Role is similar to Cop or Investigator in normal games of Mafia. The crown jewel of the Femme Nation, a Batshit Batmanus is a special operative who has been trained in clairvoyance and psionic powers since birth. Although prone to the disease Capsloxic Allcapts, the Batshit Batmanus have reputedly hunted and killed Witches, especially the foul Kaidashians. To underestimate the Batshit Batmanus’s psychic abilities to sense Kaidashians would be a death sentence.Abilities
- Can investigate one person each Night to see if she is a Witch

Kneedle of Arya (max: 1):
Role is similar to Acolyte in special games of tinyhunt. Kneedles are cyborgs produced by the international LUNGS Corporation. The Kneedles manufactured by Arya, under the label of Stark Industries, are specifically attuned to the mad, telepathic signatures of the Batshit Batmanus. Consequently, Kneedles of Arya can recognize the Batshit Batmanus, even when incognito.Abilities
- Is Informed of the Batshit Batmanus's identity

Shamanalyst (max: 1):
Role is similar to Spiritualist in special games of tinyhunt. Shamanalysts are sages who research divine studies of netherworlds and dreams. These women frequently choose to observe from the sidelines, instead of participating in the fray. Their use of medications (made from geese feathers and white powders) from the local “chemist” allow them to access the Universal Female Unconsciousness and communicate with Angels.Abilities
- Every night, can discover the Angels’ Protection target

Master of Mamo (max: 1):
Role is similar to Governor in normal games of Mafia or Judge in special games of tinyhunt. As Canadian ambassadors from the Jedi planet of Corellia, Masters of Mamo oversee the important conferences such as the Slumber Party. Although they may seem friendly, benign or lazy to the naked eye, these Masters control wild, lesbian beasts from the distant land of Sinnoh. When no consensus has been reached within a conference, the Master of Mamo will unleash her brutal swine until the majority agrees to her wishes.
Abilities
- If the Lynch vote is deadlocked or no-lynch, the Master of Mamo may determine the Lynch target[/B]

Quinanya (max: 1):
Role is similar to Vigilante in normal games of Mafia. The Quinanya is a wealthy billionaire who is renowned for her coquettish and playboy antics. Even though she chose to visit the Slumber Party to listen to new legislation regarding tax cuts to her company, Quinanya instead chooses to frolic with the busty, female strippers at the Slumber Party. However, this frivolous side is merely a mask. At night, Quinanya moonlights at a masked renegade who fights for justice (and candy-canes). Unlike other delegates of Femme Nation, Quinanya will step outside the law and kill another person if she deems that injustice has been committed.
Abilities
- Can kill a target at Night if there were two consecutive mislynches. After a possible Quinanya Kill (whether used or not), the mislynch counter resets to zero.

Easy Cheese (max: 1):
Role is similar to Eager Cadet and Beauty in special games of tinyhunt. Easy Cheese is an epicurean scientist whose interests include Chemistry and, well, cheese. Her tendency to combine these two loves has resulted in semi-sentient concoctions before, from Mozzarella Monster to Roaring Roquefort. Her love for cheese has also enabled her to invent special foods for Femme Nation, including Brie that can improve memory and Parmesan which can entice the Angels from the netherworld.
Abilities
- The Angels know the Easy Cheese’s identity through the power of Parmesan.
- Can create, once per game, a Mozzarella Monster during the Night to publicly announce the next Day that “THE MOZZARELLA LIVES!”

Saint Mutt (max: 1):
Role is similar to Martyr in special games of tinyhunt. Hailing from the Twilight Churches, Saint Mutt is a consecrated woman with unearthly powers. She is rather cynical and jaded for a saint, however, and will kick your butt if you touch her south of the border, especially if you refuse to give her apples. Although she does not hold a “universal, altruistic love” for all womankind as expected of someone holy, Saint Mutt will willingly sacrifice herself and use her sacred, martyred powers to resurrect one victim of the Witches.
Abilities
- At Night, Saint Mutt may die to Save the player the Witches Kill

Nessperado (max: 1):
Role is similar to Desperado in special games of tinyhunt. Nessperado is a debatably Scottish girl who may or may not exist when you attempt to talk to her. She can be rather elusive, darting away whenever a stranger approaches. Oddly enough, interesting pictures of the Nessperado do apparently exist, though. As a jingoistic denizen of the Femme Nation, she can summon a great deal of patriotism. Consequently, she will voluntarily die for her country in order to kill another person.
Abilities
- Nessperado may commit suicide to immediately determine the Lynch target, so long as a majority has not been reached.

Prancing Protester (max: 1):
Role is similar to Dancer in special games of tinyhunt. Dancing her way from Wall Street to Ollie Kingdom, Prancing Protester is a political activist who has plucky resolve. She is aware of many flaws within Femme Nation and is determined to fix them at the Slumber Party, protesting and broadcasting certain political views. These views will be broadcasted to the public in the form of snazzy, little slogans. However, those slogans can be a bit faulty at times, if odd.
Abilities
- At Night, you may Protest to announce to all players the next Day with a quirky political slogan.

Rayndrogynous Rider (max: 1):
Role is similar to Pope in special games of tinyhunt. Rayndrogynous Riders originate from a bizarre planet which every sixty years hosts a battle to the death between seven contestants. After the LUNGS Corporation concluded the last battle with little dexterity, a Rayndrogrynous Rider has been sent to the Slumber Party to protect the others delegates, including the Quinanya and Kneedle. The Rider uses powers derived from her gender ambiguity to clairvoyantly check every delegate of Witch DNA, ensuring that nobody else keeps up with the Kaidashians. However, LUNGS programmed the Rider’s cybernetic add-on so that the auto-check only activates once the Rider’s testosterone levels peak.
Abilities
- On the Night when only 4 (or less) women remain in the Slumber Party, testosterone levels peak, and you automatically Check all living players.

THE BEASTLY CONFEDERATION OF WITCHES:

These roles are the Mafia or “the Beastly Confederation of Witches”. As the informed minority, the Witches will attempt to overthrow the current regime and kill all the delegates of Femme Nation. They can communicate with other Witches and are able to vote on a single person to kill each night.

Dromeosaurus (max: 1):
Role is similar to Godfather in normal games of Mafia and Demon in special games of tinyhunt. A truly wicked witch, the Dromeosaurus is the leader of the Beastly Confederation and the mastermind behind this womanity conflict. She will use her feminine wiles to crush and devour anybody who stands in her way, particularly people who dare to abandon her cherished WKTF Romhack project. If consensus on the Night Kill cannot be reached by the Witches, Dromeosaurus can step in at the last moment (see rules) to determine a target. Dromeosaurus also possesses a prescient power from the North to spy on the Batshit Batmanus’s brain, learning the probability of the Witches being discovered.
Abilities
- Communication with other Witches via PMs and QuickTopics
- Can vote to target a person to be killed during night phase
- Will be informed of Batshit Batmanus's investigation target through the Winterfell BRAINSTORM
- Can determine which person to target for kill if no consensus reached

Insectaraptor (max: 1):
Role is similar to Occultist in special games of tinyhunt. Insectaraptors are especially vicious among the shapeshifting beasts. Gifted with the Demon Mayor’s blessings, the Insectaraptor has travelled to the Slumber Party in order to devour the Rayndrogynous Rider with whom she shared a LUNGS battle. Although her Praying Mantis Kung fu is deadly, this Witch famously possesses psychedelic coffee which enables the drinker to access the Universal Female Unconsciousness (UFU), thusly spying on Angels.
Abilities
- Communication with other Witches via PMs and QuickTopics
- Will be informed of the Angel’s Protection target. If you are lynched on the first day, the Witches are informed of the Easy Cheese’s identity.
- Can vote to target a person to be killed during night phase

Scumapotamus (max: 1):
Role is similar to Killer in special games of tinyhunt. Scumapotamus originates from a distant, sunny land of palm trees and pornography. Gifted at shapeshifting, she can expand her body into that of a hungry hippopotamus to crush her victims, from wayward Travellers to interracial Lovers. While her bloodthirsty demeanor results in multiple deaths, Scumapotamus’s tendency to attract fanboys often saves her from a grisly fate. Scumapotamus, being so bloodthirsty, will be the most ardent in Spiking other people’s drinks. She’ll even use her Adobe prowess to hunt down her next victim within the Slumber Party. Consequently, her rampaging kills are usually successful.
Abilities
- Communication with other Witches via PMs and QuickTopics
- When Scumapotamus attempts to Spike, if she is incorrect in her match AND she have killed 2 or less players with her Spike, the person she incorrectly Matched dies anyway. All other effects from incorrect Spike are as normal
- Can vote to target a person to be killed during night phase

Certain roles may not have been drawn for a particular game. Slots are randomly drawn and players are randomly assigned a role via the use of a generator designed for Mafia games (link: here (http://adv-random-gen.sourceforge.net/rand-gen/index.php?gen=mafia)).

General Information/Rules for TL;DR
- Modkills can happen, if a transgression has been made.
- During the day, everyone can post whatever accusations they like.
- During the night, posts are prohibited (thread will likely be locked).
- Players who cheat or violate rules will be killed and removed from play (their roles revealed).
- Voting during the day is done as follows: Deadline vote: Player (for Deadline Votes) or Lynch vote: Player (for Standard Votes), without brackets. Must be in bold. Must be in this thread. It is a public vote. I will update with a tally whenever possible.
- To rescind a vote, write Rescind Vote and then start the process anew.

Only the following (14) individuals have permission to participate in this thread:

1and1is3, Anya, Ashaya, CheddarTrek, Gila, insectamantidae, jadedmutt, LochNess, Lindsey, Little Knee, Palindrome, Schadenfreude, Vira, and Zeitgeist (Host).

All other individuals will have their posts deleted.

Waiting List (a.k.a. if you don't post, these people take your role):

1. Lady Sorrows
2. Lightfighter
3. Irene

All PMs and QTs have been set-up. Players may now begin to post, after confirming that they have received their PMs by posting in their QTs.

Posting is permitted in this thread until somebody is killed in a pillow fight or at the latest: 12:10PM EST on 11 December 2011.

13 people remaining; 7 votes to crush with pillows.

Day 1 has started.

Remember, before you can vote to crush somebody with pillows ("pillow-lynch"), you must elect a galpal for the Gay BFF. The winner, the player with the majority vote, will be allowed to name the BFF whomever she wants. [nb: Don't forget that I'm your Host. :3]

The format for voting for a potential galpal, in the correct format:

Elect Galpal: PLAYER'S NAME

Okay everyone, let's get down to business. I know all girls always hope for a Gay BFF but let's not be too selfish in wanting fashion advice, relationship support and someone agreeing with our every idea.

If the Gay BFF goes to a witch, then they will have an extra vote and be unable to be checked by the Batshit Batmanus. Of course the witches will know that so why would the attention to themselves knowing us females are bloodthirsty and have our pillows ready? Unless of course they realize that that will be our train of thought and decide to take the gamble.

My hope is that one of the innocent roles with no great power gets it. If one of the stronger roles gets it, they have a greater chance of being lynched than they normally would, and if a lesser role is lynched, of course it is a great loss for us girlies, but a better choice than killing a more powerful role. Of course there is every chance that no one is lynched at all.

That was a lot of rambling, and maybe useless posting but it's my first time playing and I am just typing things out as I think of them.

First thing's first:

HOMESTUCK. <333333

Anyways, what do you girls want to do with the gay guy? I kinda want to kick him out because he has a penis and stuff, but he is looking kind of... girly. <_<

Ash
12-09-2011, 01:06 PM
Well, I think that Zeitgeist should be our gay BFF. I don't particularly want a gay BFF, but I also don't trust any of you. I'll give a few other girls some time to talk, then nominate one of you, I think.

CheddarTrek
12-09-2011, 01:41 PM
I've also little desire for a gay BFF, but I'd be nervous leaving him to the machinations of some of you gals. Who would be a good choice...

Palindrome
12-09-2011, 01:45 PM
Vira: yesss. Homestuck. <3

Righty then! I'd be up for getting the Gay BFF if you guys would like - I'm not especially important a role.

Although at this point we're pretty much obliged to name the Gay BFF Zeitgeist, and all his promising of revenge isn't exactly doing much to make it look appealing. :P

CheddarTrek
12-09-2011, 01:48 PM
Where has he promised revenge at? Hmm, perhaps whoever gets it should name it Zeitgeist in that case. Though I am understandably wary of anyone who wants it.

Ash
12-09-2011, 01:52 PM
Yeah, he absolutely has to be Zeitgeist. I'm still waiting for more of you to post before I cast my vote.

---------- Post automerged at 10:52 AM ---------- Previous post was at 10:49 AM ----------

Well, actually, if I won, my gay BFF would be Sree, of course.

CheddarTrek
12-09-2011, 01:53 PM
Not Taure?

Palindrome
12-09-2011, 01:53 PM
Haha, it was a running joke that it was going to be called Zeitgeist, and Zeit's threatened revenge on IRC and such. :>

LochNess
12-09-2011, 02:13 PM
Also gonna wait before voting for Palindrome. I feel I shouldn't vote for someone because they are the only option.

Is there any reason you think you would be good for it/ want it besides having a not so important role?

CheddarTrek
12-09-2011, 02:15 PM
Palindrome isn't the only option though is she? We could vote for anyone regardless of whether or not they say they want it, yeah?

Zeitgeist
12-09-2011, 02:16 PM
Before I went to sleep, I also wanted to tell you that you have 36 hours to pick a girl for the Gay BFF, or else a galpal is randomly picked.

Another reminder that you should post at least TWICE per 24 hours. Yes, some of you have tough commitments, but this is a short game and shouldn't involve too much effort. A post cannot consist solely of a vote; there should be more there than just the bold text. Don't worry, though. This is a simple, relaxed game, so it shouldn't cause you an aneurysm.

Happy Witch-hunting, everybody! May you make Lady Tinn proud. And yes, people are jokingly said that the Gay BFF could be named after me. All I said was that the galpal would have some balls to do that, when I'm the Host. :>

7 votes needed to elect a galpal for the Gay BFF

Yet to vote: 1and1is3, Anya, Ashaya, CheddarTrek, Gila, insectamantidae, jadedmutt, LochNess, Lindsey, Little Knee, Palindrome, Schadenfreude, and Vira

P.S. I know it's obvious, but revealing any info from your private QTs would be foolish, with the possibility of Spiking. ^^

LochNess
12-09-2011, 02:19 PM
That's true Cheddar but then it is completely random and I feel you are really taking your chances of maybe giving it to a strong power role / witch who didn't ask for it.

Ash
12-09-2011, 02:39 PM
Not Taure?

No, he isn't gay. Sree is, though.

That's true Cheddar but then it is completely random and I feel you are really taking your chances of maybe giving it to a strong power role / witch who didn't ask for it.

Well, Palindrome could be a witch as well. We're taking a chance no matter what.

LochNess
12-09-2011, 02:48 PM
I know but not so much of a chance picking the priest or something this way. Unless the priest volunteers themselves.. But that wouldn't be a smart choice in my opinion and I hope they don't

Anya
12-09-2011, 03:12 PM
Maybe one of the more experienced players should be the Gay BFF? I know that Ashaya has played before, but who else?

CheddarTrek
12-09-2011, 03:29 PM
What about you Anya? Are you a n00b to Mafia?

Sree

Ash has a 10 inch clit that she assfucks Klael with.

WHO'S GAY NOW!?

Gila
12-09-2011, 03:39 PM
I would rather have a newer player get the friend, because while the extra vote is kinda visible, the investigation immunity benefits scum who are skilled enough to not behave scummy the most. If a new player is witchy, they will probably not be as good at hiding it.

Now I'm going shopping. Later dudettes.

Uhm, I'll totally bring back cookies or something. This is a slumber party after all.

12-09-2011, 04:07 PM
Yeah, I'm gonna go with Anya. What would you name your Gay BFF, Anya?

Elect Galpal: Anya

Anya
12-09-2011, 05:01 PM
@Ashaya: Calz? Looool.

Oh lool. Now I want a Calz Gay BFF.

@Cheddar: Marshmallos and chocolate syrup, please. I'm going to vote for you!

Elect Galpal: CheddarTrek

Little Knee
12-09-2011, 05:11 PM
Two girls immediately voting for Anya... must remember their name :P

Anyway, I've just woken up, and have to go to school for the next 13 and a half hours, so I'm sorry, girls. Regarding the gay BFF... my role isn't the important one, but I have low intuition and low experience in Mafia game, what with two times playing and two times losing. I'd say I want the gay BFF, but probably there are some of you who are better choices than me. I'd hold my vote until I get back from school so... see you later!

.

Oh and Cheddar, bring the cookies! XD

Lindsey
12-09-2011, 05:23 PM
All I know is, I do not want to be gay BFF. I have relatively little idea what's going on at the moment, and would rather keep it simple as possible till I get a hang of this game.

On one hang I want an experience player to be the Gay BFF, but many of you guys have kicked ass and I don't trust you. :P

Ash

Rofl, Calz BFF :D :D

I will keep my vote on you.

Just clarifying.

Palindrome
12-09-2011, 06:21 PM
Oops, I fell asleep.

Also gonna wait before voting for Palindrome. I feel I shouldn't vote for someone because they are the only option.

Is there any reason you think you would be good for it/ want it besides having a not so important role?

There is no reason besides not having an important role! Only reason I want it is that if I have it then at least I know that the BFF hasn't gone to the witches, and I'm a viable option to recieve it since you won't lose much if I'm killed.

As for using it - I have had a fairly good track record of figuring out who is scum and who isn't. So I don't mind having it on that front either.

But the only criteria I'd vote on, really, would be if the candidate looks innocent or not - and I don't think however well a player does is important compared to not letting witches have it.

I would rather have a newer player get the friend, because while the extra vote is kinda visible, the investigation immunity benefits scum who are skilled enough to not behave scummy the most. If a new player is witchy, they will probably not be as good at hiding it.

Personally I find newer players the hardest to read, and girls much harder to read than males. (Lawl. This might be such a bad game for me. <__>)

@Anya: Ahaha, Calz as the BFF is brilliant. Before I start choosing anyone, though, would you actually be okay with being assigned the BFF?

...I like Little Knee as an option, too.

Anya
12-09-2011, 06:34 PM
@Palindrome: I think it would be really cool, but I don't really mind either way. Little Knee is a good option, if I hadn't voted for Cheddar already I would vote for her. I need to not jump into the voting so quickly. Haha.

We mustn't let the witches get the BFF. BUT I CAN'T TELL WHO IS EVIL OR NOT. I is bad at this game, I can tell already.

What are the meta signs of witchyness? Ashaya tried to explain it to me but it hurt my head. I should get Irene to explain. Haha.

Then again... Little Knee is sort of shifty. :P

Ash

I'll try again, for the fun of it.

'Meta' signs of witchyness would be my tendency to lurk when I'm scum.
A regular sign of witchyness, which is more helpful to us in this instance, as a lot of you haven't played mafia before, would be witches voting together, bandwagoning onto certain lynch targets. Of course, as I mentioned before, the typical argument against that would be 'witches wouldn't be that dumb/obvious'. Then we get the argument against THAT, which is that perhaps the witches would gamble on us thinking that no witch would be that dumb, thus making us think that they would distribute their votes to different people, never being in any one group together, while they are in fact just voting together. And so it continues in a neverending circle of OH GOD WHO THE FUCK DO I TRUST.

Yup. Hurts my head too. That's just one sign of scum, though one that I find to be the best indicator.

Anyway, I think it'd be interesting to see what all of you think are good strategies at figuring out scum. A nice way to get some conversation going, at least.

Palindrome
12-09-2011, 06:56 PM
Well, the witches already know who all the players are, especially in games like this where there's only two factions. Put simply: townies try to figure out who is who and witches try to persuade.

But something that helps me more than that is that I've had lots of experience as mafia, and not much as town - mafia try to remain as inconspicuous as possible, which seems to be the more effective tactic, or they try to lead the other players and take control of the game if they're Kai.

Another good tell is people offering insight into whatever they are thinking about. So scum might end up giving small hints away when they examine how the scum faction might react and how they'd end up thinking. Similarly, townies often do the same but with their roles, which is a bad thing especially when we're in a game with Soup/Spiking. Try and not do that, guys. D:

---------- Post automerged at 11:56 PM ---------- Previous post was at 11:52 PM ----------

@Ashaya: hmm, I don't think scum bandwagoning is a great indicator either. Certainly, when I was scum we always took care not to vote together. But getting a bandwagon might be a more effective scum tactic.

Another read is that scum are often not the ones to start bandwagons but they try to encourage ones against people not in their faction and follow them to encourage them.

Hahahaha. All very confusing and awesome.

Vira
12-09-2011, 07:01 PM
I'm terrible at reading people's roles, but pretty much what Ash said. Scum tend to band together and indirectly support one another. Some, especially newbie scum, may panic or accidently reveal signs of their allegiance when one of their members gets bandwagon-ed. Once you get a scum group on the run, it's easy to get the rest.

insectamantidae
12-09-2011, 07:14 PM
I tend to think that people who make quick decisions about things tend to be scum, or new. They also tend to persuade more than others...

Plug in or find another power source... dammit.

Vira
12-09-2011, 07:27 PM
Oh, insecta reminded me. You can tell who's scum by the way they switch lynch targets. No scum believes who they are trying to get lynched is guilty and therefore, they can easily switch to someone else when they find it more convenient. And like every liar, they may have trouble remembering their own reasons or motivations. It takes time and effort to root out scum, which is why I’m not good at it.

Hmm, I'm not sure how to feel about this big bandwagon on Anya, but I'm a little wary. Cheddar, you voted for her rather out of the blue, and you didn't give a reason. Ashaya followed suit pretty quickly. But why did you choose Anya, Cheddar?

I don't know about choosing Anya. She sort of played up the 'I'm new' card a bit which I know I did a little when I was scum in previous games. And that she mentioned that she would vote for LKnee if she hadn't voted and then calls her scummy-looking in the same post feels really weird.

And LKnee's posts haven't really stood out to me as fishy yet - although she's only posted twice, and that seems a little lurkery.

Ash

Well, it wasn't any particular reason. She just seemed like the best option to me.

Just a reminder, we only have 4 hours to go....of course, whoever is the Master of Mamo can just decide who we smother.

LochNess
12-11-2011, 09:04 AM
This is so difficult, it being the first day and all, trying to root out who looks guilty.

If we don't make a smothering then we don't kill an innocent, but don't have a chance of killing a witch either. If we make a smother we might kill a witch but have a greater chance of getting an innocent. But if we don't then we can't move towards the vigilante kill, and the vigilante kill seems to be one of the only ways of knowing if we are on the right track or not as roles nor sides are not revealed upon death.

So I think we need to smother.

I guess I need to pick someone. CheddarTrek has seemed fishy since the first moment when she accused someone of being a witch right away for their opinion. Of course that person could very well be a witch. Let me check who it was, I just remember this stuck in my head when Cheddar did that. Okay it was Gila. And then since then, Cheddar has been acting very clueless talking about she has no clue what she is doing. Hmm , maybe she just doesn't at all and that's why she was outright making witch accusations. Okay gonna give the benefit of the doubt for now, but definitely on my suspect list.

Of course Anya also, because she has the Gay BFF is on my radar. I did vote for her but that is because I wanted to move along to talking about who to smother, and I wasn't doing to great at deducing who was innocent or guilty. Don't want to kill her off just yet though, let's see how she acts with her double vote.

Ashaya has been giving a lot of opinions and strategies seeming to be really helping us out, but is that because she wants to appear on the good side or because she has experience and is genuinely innocent and wants us to do well?

One thing that struck me odd about Palindrome was that she said she has generally been good at detecting scum. But she also posted that she has a lot of experience being on the mafia side but not on the good side.... Of course she also advocated herself to be the gal pal so that adds a bit more suspicion on top of it.

I'm sure if I go through everyone, I will have suspicions of them all but for now, Schadenfreude has really not contributed much of anything useful to the conversation, so whether it be because she is scum trying to be inconspicious or because she just is an innocent who doesn't have much to say in ways of helping us route out scum, I am going to vote her, because I would rather lose her than someone who is helping us with scum hunting strategies or providing their suspicions.

Incase there are better suggestions opinions I will keep it at a deadline vote. Although I am worried with so little time left we will not get a smothering at all. Girls please vote!

A Pokemon movie instead of Baz Furrman's Dromeo and Lutriet? Are you sure? It features some high calibre acting from Clark Danes and Lea DiSidhe as Dromeo and Lutriet respectively. Lea's performance as Lutriet was particularly convincing. It was almost fey and fairy-like in characterisation. :3

I suppose you can watch Pokemon 2000, though, if that it is what you prefer. This is also the time to check your QTs - and be reminded that the Master of Mamo can choose to lynch somebody if no consensus is reached.

Use your QTs as a place for fun, roleplaying, and keeping track of your thoughts/suspicions. Trust me. Rather than internalising, using your QTs to document your thoughts will help you comprehend the game better.

I've also decided to extend the end of Day 1 to 08:00PM EST on 11 December. This is because I really doubt that I'll be able to wake up any earlier than that. Yep, my sleep cycle is atrocious. This should give you around 10 more hours from now to reach a consensus.

Of course, the Day will end whenever enough Standard votes (7) have been cast as a majority. Seriously, get lynching, though. Extensions are normally rare, and this one is only because I really need to sleep.

Ironic, because I'm posting in a Slumber Party.

LochNess is pretty much nicetowngirl on mah radar, seeing how earnest she is. Or maybe she's scheming and just making a first impression to get ready for the chance to backstab us :O Such is the way of life.

There isn't much from us to read from, and I suggest we just go with the wind. Moar people vote please?

God, trying to sort out who looks suspicious and who looks innocent make me feel so bad at this game. Why must you all have conflicting and yet convincing arguments... Just thinking of all the convoluted ways things could be interpreted or in which you girls could be spinning things reminds me that I over-think way too much.

Well. I really need to go to bed soon, and I doubt I'd get up before the new deadline.

Gut feeling it is.

Deadline Vote: Ashaya

I'm not sure exactly, but something just seems off. Might have something to do with how quickly you supported the Galpal vote for Anya, who herself is also suspicious to me.

Palindrome
12-11-2011, 11:28 AM
One thing that struck me odd about Palindrome was that she said she has generally been good at detecting scum. But she also posted that she has a lot of experience being on the mafia side but not on the good side.... Of course she also advocated herself to be the gal pal so that adds a bit more suspicion on top of it.

Yeah - Hunt of Thrones was the game I played and won; it was a multiple faction game, with four factions. The only reason my team managed to win was that we managed to kill off all of the other mafia team, who were in a stronger position than us in the town.

That game was so stressful. D:

Meh, I supported the Anya galpal vote because she's motherfucking Anya <3
Also, she seems rather genuine, and I don't think she is scum.

At the moment, I'm most suspicious of (in order): Lindsey, 1and1isthree, Gila, jadedmutt, and Vira. It's mostly because they haven't been posting much. So....get to posting.

LochNess
12-11-2011, 11:43 AM
Can I also say I'm already regretting my choice of making Anya the gal pal if her original vote was to someone because they hurt her feelings... even if she did rescind it...

CheddarTrek
12-11-2011, 11:56 AM
CheddarTrek has seemed fishy since the first moment when she accused someone of being a witch right away for their opinion.
Yeah, see, I came into this game with the intention of having fun and those comments were meant in jest -- hell I thought that would have been obvious. If I have to watch everything I post/type that closely then this isn't going to be a fun game. For goodness sakes, you're all DLP members, though I'm beginning to wonder how much of the rest of the forums some of you frequent.

One thing that struck me odd about Palindrome was that she said she has generally been good at detecting scum. But she also posted that she has a lot of experience being on the mafia side but not on the good side.... Of course she also advocated herself to be the gal pal so that adds a bit more suspicion on top of it.
I also have slight suspicions of Palindrome for similar reasons. Ashaya as well.

Damned if I know who to vote for though.

*Passes out more Cookies*

Perhaps I'll be suspicious of anyone who doesn't like cookies. Who was it that wanted Rice Krispie Treats? Jadedmutt. I've got my eye on you...

So girls, who do suspect? Who will you cast your vote for? I mean I know we can still have a judge smother, but I really think it would be better to have a majority vote so we aren"t relying on one person's suspicions, and can start getting a feel for who everyone is and who they are voting for. I made my vote but as I said I have other suspicious people in mind, also anyone else who barely posts is already automatically a suspect for me.

Please everyone cast a vote. I know there is still time left but I know we all have real life commitmentts/ time zone differences and it may be hard to reacha majority if people leave it to the last minute.

Sorry about that. Just slept like 14 hours. I should be up all day.

I have to say sorry to Cheddar, like an hour after I posted that I felt bad and couldn't change it as I didn't have a computer near me. I shouldn't have tried to force you into that role. :(

I also have suspicions on both Palindrome and Ashaya as well because they both have kicked ass in the past. But, not trusting them does not give me the reason to vote for them.

For some reason I have a big suspicion on insectamatidae but I have no idea why.

My mind is in a whirl of confusion, I shall hold on for voting now.

LochNess
12-11-2011, 01:21 PM
And CheddarTrek, I don't think it's that anyone wants to make it a not fun game, but the fact that we are trying to figure out who the witches are by who they type means we will all be trying to figure out what each other means when they post things.

I mean we could just all pass out cupcakes and cuddle and not worry about what people are saying, but I think the game is actually more fun when we do read into people's posts and discuss our suspicions aloud.

Not trying to cause a feud, *hands out cupcake to CheddarTrek*

Ugh, sorry I haven't been around much. Got exams in a few days, so I've tried to ignore the internet.

Not suspicious of anyone right now, to be honest. I'd say Insecta because she didn't get me a bottle of water when she went out and now I have to drink this stupid punch, but that isn't good enough evidence. I'm going to vote a little bit later after I've reread the thread.

Also, I support a Pokemon movie marathon. Anyone who doesn't must take it up with me.

I don't know who to trust right now, but I'm suspicious of Lindsey. She seems to be putting a lot of emphasis on her noob-ness. She's playing it up too much.

And LochNess is being very neutral, which raises alarm bells.

LochNess

I ahree with you jadedmutt about Lyndsey. There are many of us who haven't played before, (as in me) but aren't relying on being new o be viewed as clueless.

I will say I am an innocent. I'm not jumping on one person because it's too early for me to weed out the witches, but I am trying my best to find suspicious people. I wouldn't say I am completely neutral, I mean I have been posting the names of people I find suspicious which might make me a target for the witches if I do call them out and draw attention to them. But you are right that I am not calling out "_____ is a WITCH, I KNOW IT< BURN HER!"

Lindsey
12-11-2011, 02:57 PM
Lmao. I am not even realizing I have been playing up by noobness, I'll try to stop doing that. Honestly, I just have no one I am suspicious enough to vote them out.

My thoughts:
1and1is3 - Never really around so I have no reading on her. It doesn't help that I never see her around the forums (perhaps she is on IRC?). I have nothing to judge her on.

Anya (totally just typed Arya the first time :P)- I have been suspicious of her for awhile and didn't want her to be the galpal. Ah well. I am closely watching her.

I have no opinions (as of yet) for Vira, Schadenfreude, jadedmutt, LockNess or Gila (probably cause she hasn't posted lately). Little Knee and Cheddar, I am not suspicious of at all, at this time.

I think I'm most suspicious of insecta, Anya and 1and1is3.

I really don't want to judge Ashaya and Palindrome based on other games, so I am holding back any worry I have of them for right now.

So, because I might be gone (on a date o: tonight.) I will throw out a vote until people can convince me otherwise.

Deadline vote: 1and1is3

I must admit, Lindsey sets off my internal radar like no other player.

If I seem suspicious, it's likely because I have exams at the end of the week, and I am distracted recently with formating a stupid assignment.

That said, I do need to do some homework, so Deadline Vote: Lindsey

Gila
12-11-2011, 03:44 PM
While all the fluff is really nice, it also makes it harder for us to see the real content in between. Also saying things in jest makes it harder as well, because scum can just use that as an excuse for doing scummy things. I'm not saying we shouldn't hand out cookies and hold movie marathons, but we should do it while also posting real content. I'm all for watching Stargate btw.

Also while we may not be able to get a lynch together in the time that is left, I think we still need some wagons that we can look back on. That being said, I don't like how Lindsey goes to say she has no read on 1and1is3 and at the same time is suspicious of her. Which is it?

Deadline vote: Lindsey

I should be able to post more again from now on. Had a morning shift today and then I had to finish an important written assignment that was due today so it kept me distracted for most of the day.

I am leaving for my date in a few minutes and when I return, I am studying for my finals so the chances of me being on before the round expires is slim. As much as it would suck getting lynched the first round, it might actually make me study. :P I seriously do need to study for Cal as I need to pass this final or I fail the class. fml.

There isn't really much for me to say. I swear to God that I am innocent, but this is a paranoid game and I doubt people will actually believe me. It doesn't help that I just re-read the whole convo and I so sound suspicious as fuck.

The reason I picked 1and1is3 is because she has not posted much at all. While I am suspicious of Anya and Insecta as well, 1and1is3 has not defended herself at all. It is Insecta's personality that makes me suspicious (as she seems like a very clever person) but hasn't necessarily done anything this game to send up red lights. and Anya is just strange and I don't like that... But she also holds two votes so I'm hesitate to vote for her as she could easily retaliate and honestly... I don't wanna die.

Shit, I would explain myself further but the boy has just arrived :D (he brought me flowers when I was sick, he is so adorable ). Either way, I hope I don't get lynched as I am innocent and want to keep playing.

I am still keeping my vote for 1and1is3 because I don't trust her. She posted three times so far and two of the times was just a toss out vote, like voting for Gila this morning. Maybe it's because she is so inactive, that I am suspicious but she has done nothing to take it away.

I hope everyone has a good night and for the people with finals: hope studying goes well.

It's a bit harder playing with girls (heh) because I actually feel bad for voting any of you off. Lindsey's post has made me feel bad for choosing her, and I'm now contemplating switching my vote to 1and1isthree, who I'm slightly less suspicious of, but who has been posting very little, with not much substance. I'd rather lynch a lurker than someone a bit more active.

However, I worry that Lindsey IS scum....so, I won't change my vote unless I see reason to do so.

You said tha having to watch what you post will take the fun out of the game, but I think people calling each other out for fishy behaviour is a lot of the fun of the game. I think if anything, taking someone's suspicion of you as a personal attack and getting snipey about it is what will make you ruin the game for yourself. No one has voted you out, I see no need to be annoyed that people are reading into your post, the same way they are doing with everyone elses' and possibly giving us helpful information later when we look back on everything. Maybe it won't. But at least it is a fun way to participate in the game until acual votes are here to help.

Besides this, I feel even though Lindsey is playing up her newness, it might be an honest mistake and alhough she is slightly suspicious to me, it is not enough for her to ge my vote righ now, especially when we aren' close enough to getting a smother yet. I could be wrong (my computer only has a third of the screen working and it makes it very hard for me to keep going back through posts to count things. If I remember correctly, it was Ashaya who started the Lindsey voting, and I already went along after she was one of the first few to vote Anya as gal pal. I don't want to just auomatially jump to agree with everything she does incase she is a witch and I just beome her litle pawn.
But I am going to bed now, it looks like the rest of you will figure out if we get a smother today or not.

Day 1 has concluded.

http://i818.photobucket.com/albums/zz103/tarnished_feathers/SleepoverEdited2-1.png

Strange events happen as the day ends at the Slumber Party....

We have not reached consensus. Consequently, the Slumber Party has chosen to kill nobody through a violent Pillow Fight. However, the Master of Mamo has plans of her own...

/./././.

As the hoard of flinty-eyed girls edged forward with their pillows, Lindsey gulped and waved her hands, rather like a fat tourist drowning at sea. She offered a weak smile at the mob of delegates, apprehensively. Behind her, the intergalactic trio of male strippers aimed their massive weaponry at the poor girl. They weren’t hired simply for pleasure; they were here to protect the sanctity of the Slumber Party and its delegates.

“Now, now, I thought we were all friends here,” said Lindsey. She twitched. “We were just discussing things like Evian water – and hairdos! All fluff and girlish fun.”

Snorting, a bulky woman stepped to the front of the frothing mob. Her off-white blouse strained against the mass of her bosom, while she adjusted the twitching seams on her pencil skirt, which resembled a water silo more than any stationary Lindsey had seen before. Iron-coloured hair topped off an itchy head. On the whole, the woman gave the impression of a greying pannacotta, toppling over on its own weight. The rainbow-tinted torchlight splashed over the woman’s nametag, which was smudged with ink: Maude.

“It vas not mere “girlish fun”, as you so helpfully put it!” snapped Maude. Her voice was thick with a German accent. “It vas dangerous, subversive plotting, spreading corrupting messages to inculcate the greater galaxies into some sick, female cult.”

Triumphant, Maude pointed an accusing finger at Lindsey.

“And you vere at that center, throwing your subliminal poisons all around. For that, you, foul iconoclast, must die a very painful death.”

Schadenfreude, who was brandishing a serving spoon as her weapon of choice, coughed and tapped Maude on the shoulder. Wheeling around, Maude gave the girl an impatient but enquiring look.

“Wait, iconoclast? What are you talking about?” asked Schadenfreude, confusedly. “I thought we were killing Lindsey because she forgot to buy the croutons at the grocery.”

Lindsey interrupted: “Well, technically, we didn’t need croutons –”

“Shut up! We asked for a Caesar salad. It’s not a Caesar salad if it doesn’t have fucking croutons!” Schadenfreude gripped her serving spoon and snarled. “Without croutons, it’s just a bunch of wet leaves and sauce.”

“Isn’t that what all salads are?”

“Oh, shut up, Irene,” said Ashaya, glaring at the bright-eyed Asian girl who had spoken up.

When Irene whimpered and dashed into the girls’ bathroom, Ashaya faced Maude and frowned. “Back on topic, I agree with Schadenfreude. I didn’t know we were killing Lindsey because she was trying to ‘corrupt the world with girlischnessh’, or whatever you said.” Ashaya pouted. “Sorry, but I couldn’t understand what you were grousing through that thick, German accent.”

Enraged, Maude slammed her fist against the wall. “I’m Austrian, you idiotic girl.”

Ashaya threw up her hands in surrender. “Hey, no need to go all Nazi on me. Pot-ae-to, pot-ah-to. Same difference.”

“Why are you attempting to kill Lindsey, then?” said Maude, poking at Ashaya’s padded chest.

“Because she refused to play Spin the Bottle,” Ashaya answered. When Lindsey sputtered, Ashaya harrumphed. “Yes, I know that we’re all girls, Lindsey, but that still didn’t mean that we couldn’t play the game. Spoilsport. Why can’t you experiment a little? Add a little strawberry chapstick to your sausage platter.”

“Ashaya, Lindsey started a coup,” rumbled Maude, as Lindsey shivered next to the tower of ‘Taylor Swift’ albums. “She vanted to take over the world with talk of painting nails and movie marathons. That sort of talk belongs in another galaxy. She needs to get the fuck out.”

“Eh, it was just fun and games. If anything, you’re overestimating our intelligence.” Ashaya shrugged. “We’re not trying to take over the world, whatever that bitch Beyonce claims. Yes, yes, we’ll still be in our safe, little Children-Popping Corners, so don’t you worry.”

At the back of the mob, Anya surreptitiously pocketed a pamphlet for Harvard University and whistled innocently. When Ashaya spoke again, Anya also shoved her wristband stating ‘We Are Doctors, Not Nurses’ into her backpack.

“Anyway, this was fun, but I really don’t feel like killing Lindsey anymore.” Ashaya yawned and began turning around. “We’ve all had enough drama for a day. Plus it was kinda hot seeing Lindsey all flustered like that, you know?”

“Agreed. I have to go back to the kitchen,” said Schadenfreude, as she waved her serving spoon. The other girls raised their eyebrows at her. “What? I was preparing dinner: spaghetti with salad.” She twitched. “Still with no fucking croutons.”

Maude’s hairy upper-lip curled like a string of Schadenfreude’s soggy pasta, as she tensed on her spot. Soon, the rest of the girls started to move away from Lindsey, who was sighing with palpable relief. After Lindsay sprung up and scuttled away to the safety of her room, Maude howled with rage. She was so close… so close. However, not all was lost.

A pre-programmed voice sounded over the intercom, sponsored by the LUNGS Corporation: “THIS IS YOUR MASTER OF MAMO SPEAKING.”

The crowd of female delegates froze, listening in anticipation.

“I REFUSE TO ACCEPT A DAY WITH NO BLOODSHED, NO MATTER THE INSANE POLITICS AND PSEUDO-LESBIAN INNUENDOS.”

“It’s only gay if your tits touch hers!” Ashaya piped.

“AS THE DELEGATE FOR THE BOUNTIFUL STATE OF CANADA, I CANNOT ALLOW THIS EVENT TO PASS,” announced the voice. “SOMEBODY MUST DIE TO COMPENSATE FOR THIS DAY OF INACTION. FOR THIS PURPOSE, I HAVE ELECTED TO KILL LITTLE KNEE.”

A dainty girl wearing an official ‘MattSilver for Pokéfab President: 2012’ tee-shirt squeaked.

“Why me? But I-I didn’t do anything wrong!” she stuttered.

“I HAVE MY OWN REASONS FOR PICKING LITTLE KNEE, WHICH I WILL NOT DIVULGE,” continued the ominous voice. “NONETHELESS, LITTLE KNEE MUST DIE. IF SHE IS NOT DEAD BY THE END OF THIS DAY, I SHALL UNLEASH A BEAST LIKE NO OTHER UPON YOUR BODIES. YOU SHALL BE RAVAGED.”

The voice paused, before stating again. “THAT IS ALL. ALSO, IRENE IS RIGHT: A SALAD IS JUST WET LEAVES WITH SAUCE.”

As the intercom went silent again, the surrounding girls began whispering to one another. Harsh words began to swirl, as though the storm of emotion were actually manifesting in physical reality. Slowly, the hoard marched towards Little Knee, who was cowering against a wall of Zefron posters. Schadenfreude brandished the deadly spoon again.

“S-Stop, you can’t kill me!” spluttered Little Knee, tautening.

“Why not?”

“U-Um, because we’re girls. You know, all spice and full of nice?” Little Knee offered a feeble smile. “What happened to sisterhood and BFFs forever? All that talk about shampoos and stuff. We were sharing happiness and feelings.”

“Eh, that was merely a front, a distraction while we were planning our own moves,” said Ashaya. She cracked her knuckles, smiling like a feral cat. “We can be pretty vicious when we want to be. Did you forget what happened to the planet of Gotham?”

Little Knee squealed when Ashaya took a pillow out of her bag. Aggressively, she raised it above the captive girl’s mouth.

“Open up and pray, ‘cause you’ll be needing more than a spoon full of sugar to keep my medicine down,” said Ashaya sweetly.

Moments later, screams began to echo, and the girls descended with their pillow cases. Feathers were flung everywhere, like confetti at a birthday party. At the back of the mob, Palindrome folded her arms, unimpressed with these proceedings.

“Must we do this now? It’s 6 o’clock on a Sunday. The fun time on the telly,” said Palindrome, frowning. “I don’t want to miss my weekly programming.”

Dismissive, Anya waved a hand. “Don’t worry. Grey’s Anatomy is on. As usual, Meredith can’t commit to McDreamy.” She snorted. “Stupid whore.”

“What sugary shit,” Palindrome muttered.

Anya nodded. “Exactly. Even we girls have standards.”

The Master of Mamo has elected to kill LITTLE KNEE, in the absence of a consensus! Consequently, Little Knee was clobbered and sent to the Universal Female Unconsciousness as an Angel.

More shenanigans awaken the dawn at the Slumber Party....

The Beastly Witches have made their first move, preparing their fangs for one zesty meal...

/./././.

Wishing to impress his best-friend, Calz woke up early at dawn and wandered down the stairs. He was heading towards the high-tech kitchens, which were provided by the host city-state of Oestrogen. The thought of those pristine ovens and toasters made him giggle; Calz wanted to prepare dear Anya some breakfast in bed. However, at the entrance of the kitchens, an odd murmur sounded, prompting Calz to pause and listen.

“– You can’t kill me. I’m still young, wanting to explore the world,” reasoned a familiar voice. Calz realized that it belonged to Palindrome.

Another voice, gruffer and huskier than Palindrome’s, snorted. “Oh really? Aren’t you old enough to remember those dated Pokemon movies?”

“BitTorrent,” intoned Palindrome, flatly. “Even my four year-old brother can download those vintage shows. On his birthday, he asked his mother for a ‘Power Rangers’ lunchbox, for Arceus’s sake.”

A second unknown voice giggled. “Power Rangers! That brings back memories… I used to have a crush on Jason. He was so hot, magma looked cool.”

“Puh-lease, Tommy beats Jason to the ground,” the other girl said.

While Calz tried to shake a mental image of the two male rangers wrestling, Palindrome interceded.

“Nah, I think the best Ranger was Trini. She had feline grace and style.”

Pleased, the other girls cooed, as though they remembered the vim with which Trini the Yellow Ranger could execute a high kick. The girl with the deeper voice clapped her hands together, becoming excited with this conversation. Calz was still lost in his fantasy of Jason and Tommy.

“I know who definitely wasn’t the best Ranger,” said the girl with the gruff voice. “Billy. The Blue Ranger. What an utter joke!”

“Billy did suck balls,” conceded Palindrome.

The other girl added: “Probably literally too.”

After the girls laughed in agreement, Palindrome, whose voice was alight with relief that she perhaps wasn’t going to die, spoke with impulsive animation. Calz finally paid attention.

“You know who was really the coolest Ranger, though?” chimed Palindrome. “Kat. She was really awesome, the best Ranger ever.”

Suddenly, the entire room dropped silent. The giggles evaporated, reminding Calz of an ice-cube in a sauna. With this shift in ambiance, the other girls stepped purposely towards Palindrome, who noticed this change in her companions’ demeanours; she stepped backwards. The gruff girl sounded especially cold.

“I could have forgiven you if you said that Aisha was cool or that you liked ‘Agony in Pink’.” The girl spoke in clipped, deliberate tones. “Hell, I would have even forgiven you if you preferred that prissy ‘Power Rangers In Space’ shit.” She lowered her voice for dramatic effect. “But liking that bitch, Kat? Unforgivable.”

“But what’s work with Kat?”

“Kimberley is the original Pink Ranger, you insufferable twaddle,” snapped the gruff girl. “Kat is just a stupid, tryhard replacement who took Kimberley’s right place as the Pink Ranger! Liking Kat is inexcusable.”

Calz gaped, as the two girls grabbed the shocked Palindrome.

“You know, all this Power Ranger talk nearly made me spare you,” snarled the husky-voiced girl. “But your Team Kat comment blew your chances out of the water.”

“Over one small comment?”

“Kat is a bitch! She tore up Tommy/Kimberley in canon,” said the other girl, bitterly. “And Tom/Kim was my Power Rangers OTP! It was supposed to stand the test of time… Liking Kat is a death sentence in my book. Anyway, it’s Morphing Time!”

Slowly, the gruff girl began to morph into some sort of giant dinosaur. Palindrome squeaked; Calz nearly fainted. The fanged monster opened its mouth and lowered it over the captive girl’s head. Carnage and much munching followed.

The gruff girl’s accomplice dropped what remained of Palindrome onto the kitchen floor, allowing the dinosaur to finish its meal. She folded her arms and spat on the floor.

“And this is why people say Shipping is serious business,” muttered the girl.

Last night, a vicious beast wearing a pink cardigan broke into one of the delegates' abodes. Palindrome was eaten out and sent to the Universal Female Unconsciousness as an Angel.

NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO OOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO OOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO.

But seriously, glad to be back, though we are minus one Little Knee and one Palindrome.

I do wonder why the Master of Mamo chose LKnee, and if Knee was scum.

*yawns* Well girls, that was slightly disturbing. I hadn't quite realized just how much detail we'd get about the girls that we killed.

Now I guess we have to pick someone else, but who... hm. I have no idea as of yet, so start posting so I can start suspecting!

---------- Post automerged at 03:23 AM ---------- Previous post was at 03:21 AM ----------

I have no idea why they chose Little Knee, but checking back I realize that no one seems to have voted for Little Knee either. So either we've got a 'clever' person as Mamo who killed someone they hadn't voted for or it's someone who didn't vote.

Edited to add: And I *think* that Billy was my favorite Power Ranger, but I'm not sure. He was the original blue one? The "smart" guy?

Lindsey

Glad to be back, though I am surprised I am alive.

I looked back at the thread and I cannot find the reason why Little Knee was just killed off. It does not make much sense. The only thing I can think of was that they trusted me more than Little Knee; she obviously didn't agree with the almost-majority.

I can be honest though and say I am glad.

Anyone have any ideas why Little Knee was killed?

Ash
12-21-2011, 02:36 AM
My only guess is that a) she rubbed someone the wrong way. or b) she voted for the Master of Mamo to be lynched....HOWEVER, Lindsey also voted for 1and1isthree, so that doesn't seem like the more likely option.

So yeah. Must have rubbed someone the wrong way, I suppose. *shrugs*

CheddarTrek
12-21-2011, 02:37 AM
Or Lindsey could be the Master of Mamo.

Ash

Oh, I forgot option c) because she is Asian

---------- Post automerged at 11:46 PM ---------- Previous post was at 11:38 PM ----------

Mmm, Lindsey could be, though I kinda doubt it. She could be a tricksy sonnuvabitch, though. In any case, I think I'd like to lay off of Lindsey for the time being. I'm not convinced she is scum anymore, though I definitely still have her on my radar.

Anyway, I'm naturally more suspicious of lurkers, though I know that some of you just play like that. YES, I AM LOOKING AT YOU, GILA AND 1AND1ISTHREE. You guys both have 3 posts. Schadenfreude has one more.

I can't recall exact names, but I always favoured the White Ranger with the long hair. Was it Tommy?

I was more of a Ninja Turtles girl anyways. My tapes of them were played until they played no more. RIP Turtles.

You know what I find funny about the Day 1 Conclusion? I actually cooked spaghetti for dinner last night. Zeit, are you psychic?

As for Power Rangers, my favourite ranger was the pink one. I forget all their names, though.

Decided I needed actual notes on this stuff. Handwritten ftw. Looking through everything, I can't help but feel that something is up with Lindsey. Not sure if it's because she's a witch, or for some other reason, though. But it's definitely something. Beyond that, everything is kind of up in the air.

I'm glad this has started back up.

I'm just on break at work and I want to reread this thread because I honestly forget a lot of it, especially anything to do with Little Knee, so before I post I'm gonna read this now. Maybe that's why we keep getting encouraged to write in our QTs haha, so we actually remember things:)

---------- Post automerged at 01:17 PM ---------- Previous post was at 12:46 PM ----------

Okay, reread it and I still have no clue about the why the Master of Mamo picked her. I'm not going to try and sort out who she is because I don't want to try and help the witches get soupkills, but I just hope that she had some super good scum radar, as I didn't get any scummy feelings from Little Knee.

I'm guessing the witches killed Palindrome because like she said, she has experience at this and is good at routing out the scum. Maybe they were getting nervous. Fortunately at least, originally when she was going for the Gay BFF she also said that she had a fairly unimportant role (can not remember exact words). So since she was innocent, I'm going to believe that that was true and count our stronger roles to be alive.

I think Lindsey is innocent. I had been suspicious of her going on about how she was new and didn't understand etc, but I wasn't so suspicious to give her my lynch vote. The more I saw people going for her without any good reasons (I mean it is day 1 we don't have good reasons generally, but it seemed like people are just willing to go along.) the more I feel that this is a bandwagon being encourage by the witches.

's good to be back.

Ninja turtles, I remember there was that rat that somehow learned kungfu and that samurai shredder guy. I preferred them over Power Rangers as there was lesser cheesy lines and explosions. And that blue turtle ribbon was actually cool.

Actually, I'm more interested in why Palindrome got killed. Did the witches find something suspicious about her that she was a major town role or find her to be a troublesome obstacle to overcome and thus decided to get rid of her on the first night? I'ma reread and see all the reactions to Palindrome's posts.

Loch Ness, as for that bandwagon that you pointed out that might be encouraged by the witches, let's wait and see today's lynching. That might give us some more clues.

Nights all, gotta go and make some stuff for Solstice.

So this is started again. I am glad, sort of, but I will have to be away for Christmas which is not so great. Also, the reason for not so many posts from me is simply that most conversation seems to happen during night time or away from home time for me. Since I am from Europe, you will just have to try to make do with the times I am here and can post. Anyway I am going to catch up now, because I forgot pretty much everything that happened during the break.

Cookies.

Well we'll see how much I am around from here on out -- holiday season, GO!

Uhm, since I am about to drive to my parents house, and after that go out with friends, and after that is Xmas day, and after that is a ski trip... Well, I'm not sure when I'll be on next.

Therefore I feel the need to vote, but I have no clue who to vote for. Not voting isn't really an option though, since that just means that I'll have no control whatsoever about who gets picked.

Deadline Vote: Anya

Sorry Anya. Why Anya? Because she's the galpal, honestly. There wasn't really any competition for it except for me and Anya (and I didn't want it), so I'm naturally slightly suspicious. I'm suspicious of everyone else of course ('cept Palindrome now), but Anya has two votes to one vote for the others.

Hopefully I'll be able to get back online and change it if people talk more and convince me!

Lindsey
12-21-2011, 04:10 PM
Hey, I won't be on till later on today. I just wanted to let you guys I'm not being inactive.

I am trying to figure out why someone lynched Palindrone and when I get back, I'm going to seriously look into this. At the moment, all I can think of is because she had experience. This makes me think Ashaya will be the next target of the witches or she is one of them.

I am not convinced enough that Ashaya is a witch yet though, so I am holding my vote till later.

Gila
12-21-2011, 04:25 PM
After reading over Little Knee, the only thing even remotely worthy of killing her seems to be her comments regarding 1and1is3 in her last two posts. First she is asking Ashaya why she is suspicious of 1and1is3 as voting to lynch her is not very nice, but in the next post she is very suspicious of 1and1is3 herself while Ashaya has already changed her vote. It just seems like bit of a disconnect between those two posts, which I suppose somebody could have interpreted as suspicious. Other than that I can't really see anything besides lots of cookie buddying with Cheddar.

---------- Post automerged at 23:25 ---------- Previous post was at 23:20 ----------

Regarding Palindrome her claim that she is not a very important role along with her experience might have been plenty to get the saurs want to kill her. Not like the saurs have anything more to go on than we do so they probably just picked somebody who's name popped up.

Also I'll be kind of away from the computer from 23rd to 25th, and I suspect some other people may be as well.

Vira
12-21-2011, 04:35 PM

Lindsey
12-22-2011, 01:50 AM
I have a friend over, so I won't be on until tomorrow. Christmas season is SO busy. I have been shopping all day and tomorrow is cookie baking day.

1and1is3 is suspicious because she has not posted lately. We could just be looking at her because she is inactive. Would she, as a witch, even be active enough to vote someone off in a 18 hour or so window?

Mutt
12-22-2011, 02:10 AM
I always steered clear of power rangers -- and TMNT -- because my brother was into them and they were "too boyish", according to my seven year old self. I sincerely regret that now. It really hurts my nerd cred.

:(

OT: I have no idea why Little-Knee died. But Gila makes a good point. Does this mean that 1and1is3 is the MoM?

Gila
12-22-2011, 05:23 AM
I don't think we can really draw any concrete conclusions yet as to the identity of the MoM, because the "hints" are very weak. But the question we need to ask ourselves is do we want that person to decide the lynch for us again presuming they are still alive or do we want to actually do something?

LochNess
12-22-2011, 05:41 AM
Just try and post when you can! I am in Germany and even if I can't join in other people's convos I try and contribute my ideas and things.

We need more people posting. Because I am still having trouble reading people. I think if we don't get some conversations soon, we start voting for someone with lukerish tendencies as they are not helping us weed out witches.

Just gonna say, in my head, CheddarTrek is innocent to me now. I know I had suspicions of her (I feel I will end up switching all my first day suspicions), but I think that since she was really taking the suspicions on her personally, and then voting for me because we had clearly been disagreeing about things, she is not acting how a witch would. Ugh I'm so bad at explaining myself, but I guess I mean, I think a witch wouldn't take things to heart and would be more strategic. Cheddar if it comes off as if I am bashing you, I am not trying to make it like that. I just want to say I think you are innocent.

Schadenfreude on the other hand, who I had also voiced my suspicions on, never replied to those. I mean, she posted after it, but has still barely posted anything at all. Maybe avoid replying to me because she doesn't want to draw attention to herself? I know I voted for her, maybe I am just getting stuck on the first main suspicious person, but she is really staying in my mind.

Sorry if what I say comes out weird, I always just type as I am thinking, and am always in a rush so don't have tons of time to go back. Anyway, gotta run, Christmas present shopping time

Ok, in the interest of making something happen today besides speculation, I'm going to give insectamantidae a vote. Like 90% of her posts so far have been total fluff and that's a handy way to blend in (plus she is the only one who hasn't posted at all yet today which granted may not mean anything with Christmas approaching but isn't a good thing either). Not like we have that much to go on at this point.

Deadline smother vote: insectamantidae

LochNess
12-22-2011, 07:16 AM
Wow, I just looked back at the thread and insectamantidae completely flew under my radar. Maybe because her name kept popping up, I didn't focus on the fact that even though she posted a lot, her posts were not in any way helping us figure out who is scum. As I previously posted, I wanted to vote out a lurker, and to me this counts as lurker since it is basically the same as barely posting (in the whole town trying to figure out who scum is).

So I am going to go along with this for now, as I actually want a lynch to happen tonight. If someone better comes up, then of course I am willing to change my vote.

Deadline Vote: insectamantidae

Anya

I'm all confused and don't know who to vote for. I don't want to waste my votes, but I don't want to vote for someone that might be innocent and play right into the witches hands. I just want to hug you all... and maybe a little snuggling too.

I'm going to wait until more people vote and see everyone's reasoning.

It's not that I want to lurk, but I only can post once every night. Then everyone starts posting after I goes to sleep, and the next night I appear, lotsa stuff seems to have happened.

Enough of my excuses. Just a question, why insecta? The sole reason that she posts just fluff doesn't seem to be a strong reason to capitalize on, and the fact that LochNess immediately posted afterwards supporting your point makes both of you seem off. Like both of ya are working in tandem?

Gila
12-22-2011, 12:53 PM
I have no idea why LochNess chose to do what she did and you'll have to ask her. At this point we really don't have a very strong reason to vote for anybody, but not voting at all is just playing to the hands of the enemy. If we all just post fluff and speculation, but don't use the only tool we have to root out the scum, we will have nothing to go on later on when we need to try to analyze who has been doing what. So basically just sitting around and not doing anything at all is also suspicious. Even if we don't get a lynch, votes are good. Votes create discussion, which also helps expose the evil partyspoilers. Vote for somebody femmes!

LochNess
12-22-2011, 01:36 PM
I think if I were a witch I would make sure not to post right away after one of my witch friends did agreeing with her. LIke I said, I want to route out the witches, and I had already posted that I wanted to get rid of a lurker since they clearly are not helping find the witches. When I saw Gila's post about insecta, I reread the thread and realized she was providing as much input as a lurker does anyways. I want to have a proper lynch instead of just a MoM one which is based on just one person's opinion (though still better than no lynch), and since she seemed as good a candidate as the lurkers, I decided I would support this idea.

I should outright defend myself? You know, that's probably a good idea, now that I think about it. I thought simply trying to contribute a bit more would show that I just don't have much to say, but I'm terrible at contributing, so that kind of failed. I dislike repeating what other people have already said, so I guess most of my suspicions have gone unvoiced. I'll get on that.

Just a reminder that you guys have approximately five hours and forty minutes to make a decision, according to this (http://www.timeanddate.com/library/abbreviations/timezones/na/est.html). I recognise that it is the alcohol Christmas season, so I'm being lenient when it comes to meeting the 2 post per 24 Hours rule. However, I don't think I'll be able to grant an extension when it comes to lynching. Please, put in a lynch vote for anything before you leave. Not lynching will force you to rely on the Master of Mamo again (if she is even alive), which isn't really a fun alternative.

The point of Deadline votes, which CheddarTrek recognised, is that they allow you to put in a tentative decision which isn't particularly binding in case you won't be around for the end of Day 2. Please utilise this Deadline Vote convention.

My apologies, Ladies.

rant/ In real life, I am a supervisor for United Parcel Service, and I work out of the Worcester Hub, which is the only major sort facility which runs 24/6 during the holiday season in the Northeast. We're the only stop-over between Boston and New York, Boston and Syracuse, and Boston and Hartford. All the major highways (where the 18 wheelers can drive fast) run through Worcester we're on top of 5 major interstates. That being said, we have had to process over 400,000 packages in the last 48 hours. Not fun. I monitor the hazmat response team, and the safety process for a huge facility, with 250+ employees per shift x 4 shifts. In addition to Grad school applications for the PhD, in addition to having my own Christmas gifts to buy... at this point? Everyone's getting a gift card. That's why I haven't posted, and I am massivly sorry.

When this game started, it wasn't so hectic, and finals were winding down. Then there was nothing - no response to my pm to the host regarding whether the game would go on - no promise the thread would continue... and since I had no indication the game was afoot, and I was needing extra cash for application fees I signed up to work a few extra shifts. So yeah - no time for the interwebs.

Frankly? I'm thrilled we're still playing, and after tomorrow at 5 pm.... Christmas ends, and I go back to a normal work day, with normal hours, and normal volume of packages. Until Valentine's day, when we get crushed again. ah well.

/rant

I think Little Knee was smothered because the 'saurs know she's useful as a player, and wanted to take her out to handicap our ability to take the witches on.

Think about it this way - Little knee is incredibly clever, and now she's not useful to us at all. We can only hope for her good will as an angel to defend us.

I thought Lindsay was suspicious....But it is Christmas, and she has guests, so her lack of posting is completely understandable. I hope mine is - I hope to be allowed to live, as I can be useful in a pillow fight, and I have a car - I can run for supplies!

And there's the 2 minutes until the end of break warning, so I'm back on the clock. I'll check in soon!

I almost want you guys to vote me off, as I feel I almost don't have enough time to be a good player until after Christmas. At the same time... I don't wanna die.

My Opinion
1and1is3 totally supported Insecta out of the blue. Now, suddenly, Insecta comes back and votes for the person that might get a lot of votes because of the previous round (me). She does not explain why she is still suspicious, especially when she has been inactive. As she just stated, she has not been active for her job, which means she didn't have enough time to seriously think about previous posts.

She even mentions in her post before mine:

I thought Lindsay was suspicious....But it is Christmas, and she has guests, so her lack of posting is completely understandable.

Then, out of nowhere she votes for me, and everyone jumps to follow. This takes any suspension from her and 1and1is3 this round.

This just reeks of scumminess to me. I've already defended myself last round, if you guys still think I'm more suspicious than this... What can I do?

Stop. Traveller time. And before you ask, Traveller time differs from regular time in that it speaks in third person and gets killed by Ashaya, and thus, is superior.

Hey girls, Zeit's without internet right now, and will be able to get back to hosting and stuff in a couple of days, but he asked me to end the day and stuff. 2 hours late, but hey, I'm just the messenger boy.

Anya: 0 (+1)
CheddarTrek [Deadline Vote]
insectamantidae: 0 (+6)
Gila [Deadline Vote], LochNess [Deadline Vote], Lindsey [Deadline Vote], Anya [Deadline Vote], Calz the Gay BFF [Deadline Vote], Schadenfreude [Deadline Vote].
Lindsey: 0 (+3)
Jadedmutt [Deadline Vote], insectamantidae [Deadline Vote], Vira [Deadline Vote].
Consensus was reached.
Did not vote: Ashaya.

~ DAY 2 HAS CONCLUDED ~

http://i818.photobucket.com/albums/zz103/tarnished_feathers/SleepoverEdited2-1.png
Somewhat expected, but still strange, events happen as the day ends at the Slumber Party...

A consensus was reached. The Slumber Party has chosen to kill insectamantidae through a violent Pillow Fight. Dun dun dun.

/./././.

Traveller's Log.

The Traveller doesn't know what to make of this. The Traveller has seen many crazy and traumatising things before, but none crazier and traumatising-er than this.

No, not even Woodstock. Not even the great Lungs Train Groping of 2011. Not even that one episode of Happy Days where Fonzie jumped a shark, though that was more crazily traumatisingly awesome.

The Traveller was called in today as a favour to The Host With The Most, to quickly oversee the status of some kind of slumber party - and the words "slumber party" quickly get The Traveller's attention - and then count the votes of those wanting to get into a pillow fight with a certain person. The Traveller doesn't see why they can't all be pillow fighting at one time, though The Host From The Coast mentioned something like it being degrading to women yadda yadda... The consensus had to be six, and six was reached.

The Traveller was expecting a pillow fight, as per the instructions.

The Traveller was NOT expecting the girls to immediately jump on another girl and smother her to fucking death with a pillow. Not even kidding. They approached the girl, insectamantidae and, well, Gila and Lindsey pinned her wrists and legs, while Lochness and Schadenfreude plumped a pillow, and handed it off to Anya and her Gay BFF-looking fellow, Calz. Then, Anya had her manservant stuff the pillow down insectamantidae's throat, like some kind of reverse magic trick - the handkerchief thing, but with a pillow and oh sweet Jesus -

Insectamantidae died slowly. The girls cheered when it was all over, and quickly made plans to eat cupcakes and talk about Power Rangers or something.

What. Just what.

The Traveller is sure there is a funny and cute way to spin this, perhaps wrap it all up in a fluffy feminine bow. Maybe insectamantidae was a murdering psychopath, hence the consensus, but that... That was just...

Then The Traveller realised. There in the corner, the only one who didn't vote, was Ashaya. As in, Ashaya who once killed The Traveller in a past mafia game. As in Ashaya Fucking Traveller Slayer.

No. Wonder.

No favour for The Host With No Boast was worth this. The Traveller has seen the face of true evil now.

Traveller out. Of the country. Of the world. Of the universe. Of time itself.

/./././.

Insectamantidae was clobbered and sent to the Universal Female Unconsciousness as an Angel.

Posting in this thread is prohibited until Day 3.

Players with night actions need to bold their actions when posting in their QT. Failure to use the correct format might result in recording a non-action by me in the player log. And by me, I mean Zeit. Moreover, I will response in your QT to confirm your action. Again, I mean Zeit. Zeit does this work. Not me.

Only the following (11) individuals have permission to post in this thread (After I'm done intruding, of course):

1and1is3, Anya, Ashaya, CheddarTrek, Gila, jadedmutt, LochNess, Lindsey, Schadenfreude, Vira, and Zeitgeist (Host).

Graveyard: 3
Little Knee (MamoSwined), Palindrome (Devoured by Witches), Insectamantidae (Smothered)

Night 2 has started.

/./././.

Sorry for the intrusion, hope it was painless. There was no way I was going to be able to capture Zeit's flavour - no chance in hell, that's way too unique for me - so I instead went with "random person comes in and leaves traumatised". Not to say I am traumatised, ladies. Just less sane than before.

Day's over, no posting. Pew pew pew.

Before I start, I must say a few words...

MERRY CHRISTMAS, everybody!

More shenanigans awaken the dawn at the Slumber Party....

The Beastly Witches have made another move, preparing their fangs for a zesty meal...

/./././.

Calz looked around the room, staring at each of the girls sitting near him. It was early in the morning, with dawn’s morning light filtering through the windows like a knife. He was awake at this ungodly hour because it was Christmas Day; he – and the other girls around him for that matter – wanted to unwrap the presents at the base of the Christmas tree. Who wouldn’t want to open gifts? Excitement bubbled within Calz, who braced his fists with anticipation.

“Okay, time for Secret Santa!” announced Gila, standing up. “Everybody has placed their gifts under the tree? Remember who you were assigned?”

The group nodded, when Ashaya leapt to her feet. She had a crazed sparkle in her eyes, reminding Calz of a hungry hyena – in heat.

“I’ll go first! Which one is my present? The big pink one?” asked Ashaya, excited. She picked up the parcel and shook it. “Oooh, sounds like a video console. ‘To Ashaya, From Jadedmutt’! Aw, thanks!”

Grinning, Ashaya ripped off the pink wrapping paper, peering at the contents of the gift; her face fell into an unfathomable expression that was anything but joy. Definitely not joy. Ashaya trembled.

“You got me… bathroom scales.”

“Yes, so you can weigh yourself,” answered Jadedmutt, cheerfully. “I overheard you telling your buddy Sree that your New Year’s Resolution was losing 2 kilos? This way, you can check your progress as you go.”

Jadedmutt continued, as Ashaya stared at the scales. “By the way, good on you for trying to lose your weight. I think it’s great to try and lose your Christmas pounds.” She sounded thoughtful. “Heaven knows how much the holidays can add the kilos –”

“I’M NOT FAT!” screamed Ashaya, cutting off Jadedmutt’s enthusiastic speech.

Jadedmutt sputtered when Ashaya threw the gift at her face. “Fuck you, just because I ate a few chocolate cupcakes. They had linseed – they were a healthy treat! Everybody indulges a little… don’t they?”

“But I thought you wanted to lose – ” Jadedmutt tried to explain.

“I’M NOT FAT!”

Gila, sensing that Ashaya was about to burst either into tears or into a murderous rage, cleared her voice. She wisely changed the topic, cutting through this tense interaction: “Okay, let’s move on. Who’s next? Lindsey?”

Lindsey nodded and picked up the small, blue parcel that was closest to the tree. “Mine is from… Vira?”

Vira, the bored-looking woman lounging on the sofa, looked at Lindsey when her name was mentioned. The woman yawned and lazily waved her hand. “Yeah, I was your Santa. Whatever.”

“Uh, your gift seems a little… light,” said Lindsey mildly.

‘Light’ was an understatement: the box was barely the size of a paper sheet and probably weighed less. When Lindsey squeezed the gift, it threatened to crumple into a silly mess. Apprehensive, Lindsey glanced at Vira, who had now pointed her chin at the ceiling, as though she were balancing an invisible object.

“Maybe it’s a gift card or money. Probably money. It’s gotta be money…”

Lindsey reassured herself, while she gingerly opened her parcel. She was sorely disappointed; disbelief clung to her voice.

“Wrapping paper,” stated Lindsey, cradling the flimsy gift. “Wrapping paper as a Christmas present.”

“Not just any wrapping paper,” Vira said, propping herself upright on the couch. “Look at it carefully.”

Reluctantly, Lindsey examined her gift: the paper was covered with repeating emblems of a cake with candles, above which were the words ‘HAPPY BIRTHDAY’! However, somebody had gotten a blue marker and hastily written ‘Jesus’ under the cakes, so that those repetitive words now read ‘HAPPY BIRTHDAY, Jesus!’ Vira appeared vaguely pleased – or as pleased as she could muster under her neutral, languid expression.

“They ran out of the traditional Christmas wrapping paper at the store, so I improvised using the birthday-themed ones.” Vira explained to the silent Lindsey. “Tada. Instant holiday wrapping paper. Merry Christmas.”

Anya interceded. “I’m next! Green one by the fireplace, quick!”

Gila passed the parcel to Anya after reading it. “It’s from LochNess.”

Anya raised an eyebrow when she saw the contents of her present. She lifted it into the morning light, allowing her BFF Calz to catch a glimpse. A magazine, glossy with big, red font. Pictures of flexing, shirtless men sprawled across the covers; the models were wearing nothing but flimsy g-strings. Above the Japanese man was the title: ‘Men For Your Pleasure’. Anya flipped through the pages, stopping at the cover-shoot on the Australian male model, Tehan. She pouted.

“It’s nice,” said Anya, “but I really don’t think this is for my tastes.”

“Really?” Ashaya was curious. “But these men are so hot. I could make sweet music to the German one at the back cover, although not that Australian one, Tehan. Ew, chin dimples.”

Anya made an awkward cough. “Yeah, it’s not my thing. There are probably better magazines out there, like ‘Vogue’ or ‘ELLE’.” She sighed happily. “Mila Kunis did a swimsuit shoot in that one. I like those magazines more.”

“For their exposés on fashion?” asked Lindsey.

“Sure, that can be my reason,” was Anya’s evaise reply.

Bemused, Schadenfreude scanned her surroundings, frowning when she couldn’t find the object of her thoughts. She spoke up, grabbing the attention of the other girls; Calz was too busy tearing and pocketing pictures from Anya’s magazines to care.

“Talking about LochNess, where is she?” asked Schadenfreude, pondering. “And on that note, 1and1is3 as well. Has anybody seen them?”

“Not sure.” Jadedmutt sounded concerned. “Now that you mention it, they said that they had to meet somebody yesterday. I wonder if they’ve come back yet…”

The next event happened suddenly. While Gila was reaching for her present under the tree, screams sounded from the kitchens. Immediately, Lindsey and Anya jumped to their feet and raced to the source of the noise. The others were in quick pursuit. What the delegates saw in the kitchens was a terrifying sight: LochNess and 1and1is3, strung up like Christmas bon-bons waiting to be cracked. Tinsel flowed from their mouths. It also didn’t help that parts of their bodies were missing.

“Jesus, not again!” CheddarTrek said. “And here, I thought that nobody would die because it’s the Christmas season. Holidays are meant to be fun.”

“Isn’t Christmas meant to be fun?” CheddarTrek addressed Ashaya, who was in the middle of sighing with relief.

“I wouldn’t know. I’m Jewish,” deadpanned Ashaya.

/./././.

Last night, the residential district for Delegates were invaded. 1and1is3 and LochNess were killed and sent to the Universal Female Unconsciousness as Angels.

First of all, RIP LochNess and 1and1isthree. Disappointing that there were two deaths last night.

Sorry that I didn't vote on Day 2, I slept for like 19 hours that day. I wouldn't have voted for insecta anyway, so that's a bit disappointing.

Anya
12-25-2011, 06:46 AM
I don't really understand how two people were killed. 'tis not fair. :(

Why would they kill them? Does any one have any theories?

Gila
12-25-2011, 07:10 AM
One was killed by witches, one by the vig. So our first two lynches failed to hit witches. Which kill is Which is the question.

Schadenfreude
12-25-2011, 11:07 AM
Hm. I do wonder which kill was which.

Either way, I'm about to go to bed, and I'll be out all day tomorrow for the Boxing Day sales, so I most likely won't be online again before the deadline. As such.

Deadline Vote: Vira

Vira, you have experience with Mafia. You have in fact won four of the seven games you've played in. (Thank you, Vesvius.) Yet you haven't made that many posts in this thread, and only about half of those posts are really contributing much to figuring out who's scum and who isn't. I know you've had exams and it's the holidays now, but that seems awfully suspicious for someone who knows the ropes and could easily be a great help to us innocents.

Add that to the one lynch vote you managed to make being for Lindsey, who at that point could have fairly easily been bandwagon'd again, and I'd say you're looking pretty scummy.

I may rescind this vote later if I find the time to come online again, depending on the discussion while I'm gone. Have fun, everyone.

Ash
12-25-2011, 11:28 AM
Yeah, I was going to post saying how suspicious I am of Vira. Not sure if she's just busy because of the holidays, or what, but, well, it's the best lead I have :S

Deadline lynch vote: Vira

We'll see if anyone else seems scummier to me, but for now, Vira seems like the best option.

The two others that seem like scum to me are Gila & jadedmutt.

This is kinda only through process of elimination, though, as Anya, Cheddar, and (I think) Lindsey seem pretty town to me. It's either Schadenfreude or Vira, and well, I find Vira more suspicious.

Of course, we don't know if we've already killed any scum, so IDK if there are even still 3 witches left. LochNess or 1and1isthree could have been scum, and we know that everyone lynched was innocent.

Anya
12-25-2011, 01:42 PM
Seems like valid points, but I'm going to hold off voting for now. Vira does seem to be lurking a bit, but like you guys said there is the holidays to think about. But there are other reasons to be lurking and scumyness is one of them.

I really don't know who to trust. But the rest of you... Gila, CheddarTrek, jadedmutt and Schadenfreude are my main interests right now. You're shifty looking.

Though to be honest that's like...half of us...

Le sigh. This is hard.

Gila
12-25-2011, 06:17 PM
Actually, I've been thinking you've been playing surprisingly phlegmatically as well compared to what I would have expected from you Ashaya. Any particular reason for this? This has been pinging on my radar. Vira is kind of in the same boat, but I'm not quite ready to vote just yet.

Anyway I have to say both LochNess and 1and1is3 had at least some suspicion on them at one point or another. Out of the two 1and1is3 seemed lurkier so probably less likely target for the witches, but of course I could be mistaken. Anyway, I think it says something about the scum team that would chose to kill one of those two individuals as opposed to a supposedly stronger player like Vira or Ashaya. Based on this I think there's a good chance that at least one of them is most likely a beastly witch and they are trying to throw us off the scent.

Actually I just had another though, but it needs some forming so I'm going to post again once I've though about this.

---------- Post automerged at 01:17 ---------- Previous post was at 00:48 ----------

Correct me if I'm wrong, but I've been trying to count things. We are 8 now (plus Calz) as far as I can see and on the worst case scenario that means 5 town and 3 witches. Presuming the absolute worst case scenario in which Anya is a beastly witch, that means we have 5 town votes versus 4 scum votes. That could basically be lylo if everything goes to hell. Things could certainly be better than that, but it's safer to be a pessimist.

Ash
12-25-2011, 07:19 PM
If Anya is a witch, we are lost. However, I really don't think she is one. And I really HOPE she isn't.

Gila, I'm not entirely sure what you mean, but well, I haven't said much because we are a boring lot. No convoluted plans, no role reveals, nothing.

Honestly, I'm constantly struggling to find something to say.

Lindsey
12-26-2011, 12:28 AM
Shit. I was so sure that Insecta was scum. Fuck, I really really thought she was. Now, everything I thought I knew just went flying out the window. Now, all I can see is each of you snickering to themselves as they are the witches.

At the moment Schadenfreude and Ashaya seem the scummiest for me, but I have no proof. I worry about Ashaya because she is so experienced yet isn't stating her opinion much, which is weird. But, she could just be bored and literally have no idea.

Schadenfreude I just have a funny feeling for. Probably because she just took my opinion and ran with it and now is starting the bandwagon. It's weird. I have almost no proof, yet you just feel scummy.

The truth is, this game needs to get a lot more active for us to do anything. It's bad when we only get 3-5 posts a day. I know it's Christmas season, but at least try? Idk. I just am not seeing those crazy theories and accusations like other games. It's hard to know someone when they never post.

CheddarTrek
12-26-2011, 02:02 AM
Hmm, so, I could stick with my prior guess of Anya (just because) or jump on the Vira bandwagon. I need to take some time and note who exactly wanted Vira (just in case the Witches are collaborating together), but I'm really just not sure.

I'm going to literally flip a coin... *a few seconds*

Vira it is.

Deadline Vote: Vira

I'd be happy to change back to Anya or be convinced to vote for, say, Gila or someone else though. I just finished a 10 hour drive though, so I'm not going to read into everything at the moment (though I did skim through all the posts).

Cheers dudes, and merry christmas.

Mutt
12-26-2011, 02:32 AM
Sorry I haven't posted much recently. Spending time with family I see once/twice a year. But I know you guys are in the same situation, so I won't dwell on it. Hopefully things will chill out now that Christmas is done.

I don't have any solid ideas, but my gut tells me not to trust Lindsey and Gila. I've always felt off about Lindsey. I feel like Gila jumped on the anti-experience (Vira/Ashaya) bandwagon. Yet she didn't vote, so it's like she's trying to be overly-diplomatic. It unsettles me.

Deadline Vote: Gila

Vira
12-26-2011, 02:53 AM
It's Christmas and I've been out of the house for the entire day, so sorry I haven't been posting. Though, I haven't been paying much attention to this game anyways. 'Tis the season after all.

Before lynching me, I will say that if Anya is a witch, my death and the night kill tonight will allow the witches to gain the majority to win. If Anya is not a witch, then we get one more day to set things right... I think. I can't remember how many people are alive right now and I'm a bit too lazy to check.

Deadline Vote: Lindsey.

I will stick to my vote. If Anya is not a witch, then lynch Lindsey after me. Anyways, going to sleep now. If I'm dead by morning, then it was nice playing with you girls.

Mutt
12-26-2011, 04:49 AM
Is that how you win? I really should have read that tutorial....

Gila
12-26-2011, 09:53 AM
The anti-experience bandwagon does has have merit though, but the reason I didn't vote yet should have been pretty obvious (well, I could have chugged in a deadline vote, but I wanted more time to analyze the situation) namely that if we lynch wrong now, this could potentially be it, the end of the line. These deadline votes are on the other hand good, but I think they have also a get out of jail free type of effect for witches who can just say something like "well I can't really be here to vote later so I'll just chug a vote somewhere now". I'm going to try to go through the thread again later and look for hints. It's only 10 pages after all. Anyway I have to say Vira's post doesn't really give me any town vibes there.

Anya
12-26-2011, 01:15 PM
Deadline vote: Schadenfreude.

I'm sorry, but you seem the most likely to me to be a witch. I really really hope I'm right, since this is an important stage in the game and I don't want the witches to win.

The whole meta more experienced players being scum thing has always seemed like a good excuse for witches to bandwagon people to kill innocents. And that's pretty much why you were voting for her.

If you don't have any other reasons for voting for Vira, I'm pretty sure I'll stick with my vote. :/

---------- Post automerged at 01:15 PM ---------- Previous post was at 01:14 PM ----------

But if you, or anyone else, has a better reason, I'll be more than happy to switch my vote to her too.

Ash
12-26-2011, 11:57 PM
Well, I can't convince anyone, since my only reason for voting for Vira is based on my gut feeling.

At the moment we are at

Vira: 3
Gila: 1
Lindsey: 1
Schadenfreude: 2

So. I kinda recommend that you guys pick either Vira or Schadenfreude, because we don't know if the Master of Mamo is still alive.

This game is actually kinda hard, because I like all of you, and I don't want to believe that you are scum :|

Lindsey
12-27-2011, 01:36 AM
I seriously have no idea. So I will be going for the majority as we need to lynch someone because we don't know of the MoM is still alive.

Deadline Vote: Vira

CheddarTrek
12-27-2011, 01:48 AM
Yeah -- it's sad but I'd almost rather just jump on the bandwagon than let the MoM pick again if they're still around.

I'm rather curious how we're doing, haha.

Ok, so... to add a bit of girly flavor back to this, jus' cuz, what are everyones favorite types of pajamas to wear at these things? I'm partial to thick yet soft cotton pajama pants and a tank top (or if it's chilly, a long sleeve).

Ash
12-27-2011, 05:02 AM
Wait. You wear clothes to your sleepovers? O.o

I kid. I actually usually just wear pajama pants and a tank top. Or I just wear normal clothes, jeans, etc, and never end up changing into PJs.

Gila
12-27-2011, 05:05 AM
I'm chugging a deadline vote to Schadenfreude, because I find the people on that wagon townier and honestly if Anya is a beastly witch, we are lost anyway. The people not on either of the wagons need to change their votes so we can analyze better tomorrow presuming we are actually alive.

Deadline vote: Schadenfreude

Lindsey
12-27-2011, 06:19 AM
Based on Gila's latest posts. I have a feeling she and Vira are the remaining witches. I have no proof but it seems Gila refuses to vote for Vira but instead the next highest running for being lynched. And it's those two talking about how if Anya (keep writing Arya xD) is a witch, the game is lost. Looks to me as they want to start the bandwagon.

Now on the subject of PJ's. I can't sleep in jeans or normal everyday clothes. Either short pajamas or if it's really cold, cool duck/kitty/plaid pajamas. Right now i am wearing fuzzy zebra print pants and a white and purple t-shirt. I don't care what I look like normally for bed. ALl I am doing is sleeping. Well... Most of the time lol.

Ash
12-27-2011, 06:59 AM
FUCK. We need one more girl. God, I hope the Master of Mamo is alive, and I hope she picks well. :|

Gila
12-27-2011, 07:05 AM
I'm not letting this go to no lynch. And I'm not a witch. Whoever thinks we shouldn't consider the option that we could lose this game with this vote is either a witch or not done the math. If somebody shows up to change their vote, I may change my position yet.

Deadline Vote: Vira

MattSilver
12-27-2011, 07:50 AM
I didn't exactly want to bail Zeit out again, but circumstances are circumstances and since I'm apparently unable to tell him no, I'm back to close again. Sorry to interfere, ladies, but I'm sure I can be tolerated once more. So, without further ado.

Gila ninja'd me as I was posting this, too, but I edited and stuff, hence the lateness. I'm gonna ignore the fact Gila didn't quite rescind her vote for Schaden - out of pure uncaring hostiness - and just kill Vira. Tada.

Lindsey: 0 (+1)
Vira [Deadline Vote]
Vira: 0 (+5)
Schadenfreude [Deadline Vote], Lindsey [Deadline Vote], CheddarTrek [Deadline Vote], Ashaya [Deadline Vote], Gila [Deadline Vote].
Schadenfreude: 0 (+2)

~ DAY 3 HAS CONCLUDED ~

http://i818.photobucket.com/albums/zz103/tarnished_feathers/SleepoverEdited2-1.png
Somewhat expected, but still strange, events happen as the day ends at the Slumber Party...

A consensus was reached. The Slumber Party has chosen to kill Vira through a violent Pillow Fight. Dun dun dun.

/./././.

As I ventured forward into the room, I wish I had said "No" more emphatically. Maybe shook my head a bunch, waved my hands and swore a little. Pointed a finger, poked that bastard in the chest and said, "Hey, I so don't want to do this! You know The Traveller guy? THESE GIRLS DROVE HIM INSANE. And that guy? He watched Cats. And enjoyed it. Come on."

But no, here I am, because he wheedled me despite the "no"s. Doing a favour for The Host With No Internet Host, and that favour was to supervise the decision making process of a group of slumber partying girls - and a black gay manservant, don't ask - as they chose to kill somebody in a violent pillow fight. Apparently this was how things were done, as slumber parties? Serious fucking business. People had already died. One of the violent deaths drove The Traveller to the mental ward. What would it do to me?

The girls were gathered in the library, in a private box of a room used for study, aptly named Study Room F. The girls were sitting around three tables boxed together so they had eight full seats all within murdering distance, their weapons of choice - pillows, to varying degrees of fluffiness and silk coverage - on the grounds beside them. They were all shooting each other death glares when I approached.

"Made your decision?" I asked pleasantly, lest they turn their pillows on me.

"The time to hesitate is through," said the girl wearing a hippo hood. The infamous Ashaya, I assumed. "No time to wallow in the mire."

Over in the corner stood the black manservant/Gay BFF, Calz, and after acknowledging me, he burst into manly tears.

"He doesn't want to go through this again," said Lindsey.

"Poor insecta..." murmured Gila.

Anya, holding the chain attached to the collar around Calz's neck, snorted. "Yeah, sent the last guy nuts, remember? What was his name again? The Wanderer?"

"No, The Rambler," guessed Gila.

"There is a killer on this road," babbled Ashaya. "His brain is squirming like a toad."

I shot her a look. "Are we sure you guys don't want her to die instead? I mean, just to decrease the overall... annoyingness?"

"If we wanted that, we would get rid of you," said CheddarTrek.

"Well damn, I've been told."

"Make him understand," implored Ashaya. "The world on you depends on life that will never -"

"No, okay, I get it," I said, raising my hands. "Why are we standing around? Who did you girls vote to kill?"

Anya pointed across the table to Scadenfreude, making Calz point as well, while Jadedmutt pointed at Gila, and the rest pointed to Vira, the lazy eyed lazy girl from the laziest country in the world. And yes, I knew this just from looking at her.

"She voted for Lindsey, too," Scadenfreude pointed out, gesturing for the lazy girl. "But yeah, can we kill her now?"

I nodded. "Don't let me stop you. I have a lunch thing planned."

"This is the end, my only friend, the end," Ashaya taunted, standing from her chair - the rest of the Vira murdering contingent followed. "Kill, kill, kill, kill, kill, kill, kill."

"Seven kills? Really?" I murmured to myself, as the other girls took up the chant.

I could only watch in fascination as Vira was murdered in the laziest way possible. It was like she didn't even notice, her eyes glazed over with the not noticing - or opium? We'd never know - right up until she had five pillows stuffed over her mouth at once, and no, I didn't think that was physically possible.

So yeah, she died. Tada.

When it was over, Anya had Calz the Gay BFF drag the body away, and the rest of the girls started discussing the type of clothes they wear to a slumber party, as if the slumber party they were having was less of a slumber party and more of an excuse to kill people with pillows. Which, you know, was entirely possible.

Before I could leave, Ashaya caught my eye, something murderous alight in her own.

"Come on baby," she said. "Light my fire. Let's try to set the night on fire."

I suddenly was aware of the reason for The Traveller's mental breakdown. My thoughts told me to run, and I listened to them. My thoughts also told me to listen to The Doors for some reason, but I'd get to that later. I backed out of the study room slowly, fishing my phone out of my pocket as I did.

"Hey Zeit," I started, as soon as he picked up. "Never again."

And yet despite his reassuring words, I got the feeling I'd be here again.

Posting in this thread is prohibited until Day 4.

Players with night actions need to bold their actions when posting in their QT. Failure to use the correct format might result in recording a non-action by me in the player log. And by me, I mean Zeit. Moreover, I will response in your QT to confirm your action. Again, I mean Zeit. Zeit does this work. Not me. I'm just the looks.

Before I start, I must say a few words...

Happy birthday, Irene! I wish you all the best. Hopefully, you take any offence to this portrayal. All is meant in jest. Also, Lungs, we are aware of your story. We are gravely aware.

Yes, this was longer than the standard 24 Hours for a Night, but I gave you guys extra time because the holiday season really got in the way for us. I totally understand that parties and relatives can make it hard to access your QTs. It doesn't help that the country I'm currently in also blocks access to QTs for me; I had to use a proxy server, lol.

More shenanigans awaken the dawn at the Slumber Party....

The Beastly Witches have made another move, preparing their fangs for a zesty meal...

/./././.

The following morning was a chaotic one, or at least Calz thought so. Irene’s birthday had coincided with Christmas, sending the remaining delegates into a flurry of shopping to find the girl a special gift. As with yesterday’s Secret Santa, the girls sat around the room in a circle, holding their gifts and smiling at Irene. Calz clutched his own parcel (in Princess Peach-pink wrapping paper, obviously) and tried to not seem too nervous; Irene had notoriously high standards. She was rather picky when it came to her tastes. Calz heard that once, when Anna tried to give her a book titled “Manipulating Men”, Irene threatened to stick a voodoo penis into the girl’s ungodly areas.

Calz shivered, when Irene looked at her friends in ill-contained glee.

“Now, who has a gift for the Irene?” she asked, rubbing her palms together.

Anya, Calz’s beauteous best-friend, summoned her courage and volunteered. “I do! Here, happy birthday, Irene.”

Delighted, Irene snatched the green box out of Anya’s hand and tore off the wrapping paper, giving the crazed impression of a nymphomaniac during kinky sex. She glanced at the gift’s contents, as her face fell into a scowl. Snarling, she thrust the present into the air.

“Wonder Woman: Issue 4,” said Irene; she read the blurb in a slow but bitter voice. “‘Joanie Lungs, the latest incarnation of Wonder Woman, faces off the vengeful super-villain, Train Girl. Will Wonder Woman be able to save New York from the groper monsters which lurk on the subway?’ So this is my present, Anya. This.”

Anya scratched her head, nervously. “Uh, perhaps it’s too –”

“It’s DC!” shrieked Irene. “I am a Marvel fangirl, you incompetent idiot! Loki, not Robin. Wolverine, not Batman! I SHOULD KILL YOU FOR THIS!”

Throwing the comic book back at Anya, Irene growled at the rest of her friends. She cracked her knuckles. Calz felt faint-headed; his navel-showing shirt was already plastered to his back with fear-induced sweat.

“Who’s next? Well?”

“Me,” said Lindsey, who was wiping her forehead with a handkerchief.

Irene glanced at Lindsey’s blue present; her face lit up like a Christmas tree, the murderous rage only a distant memory.

“Oh, it’s so nice and BIG. Lindsey, thank you! Love and kisses!”

Calz had to admit that Lindsey’s gift was huge: it was twice the size of his paltry shoebox of a present and looked thrice as heavy. Irene, who at this point seemed more meerkat than human, squealed with excitement. She definitely seemed to like Lindsey’s offering. However, that expression of joy left as quickly as it appeared when she opened the box. Feeling antagonistic, Calz wondered if Irene suffered from severe mood-swings.

Twitching, Irene pulled out a long, risqué robe, which was embossed with the insignia of a silver snake on a green background: Slytherin. The frontal areas were low-cut but tasteful enough to support the breasts without showing too much skin. While the skirt stopped at the mid-thigh, the pleats gave an innocent allure of a schoolgirl; Calz made a note to buy himself a copy for the next Halloween Party.

“A Slytherin’s robes,” was Irene’s dangerously terse reply.

Lindsey nodded. “I made it myself, although it’s based off Sesc’s summer-line of Greengrass dresses. You remember Sesc, the German fashion designer?” Lindsey sounded vaguely idolising. “He creates the most beautiful gowns: both politically endeavouring yet ‘naughty schoolgirl’ simultaneously. You’d look like an, an – ”

Lindsey futilely searched for the right word. Quirking a raised eyebrow, Schadenfreude helped out: “Like an Ice Queen?”

“Yes, an Ice Queen. The epitome of perfect!” said Lindsey, before frowning. “Although you might seem a little too perfect to be realistic, maybe...”

Irene had no time for Lindsey’s musings; she slammed her fist on the floor and scrunched the Slytherin dress in her hands.

“You gave me a fucking stripper outfit!” Irene screeched.

Lindsey seemed startled. “My bestie, Sera Tin, thought that it might be too racy, but surely it isn’t that ba –”

“Is that what you think of me? A stripper?” Irene didn’t listen to any of Lindsey’s remarks. “How low is your opinion of me, huh? I’m not a hooker, you foul groin-spawn of a mangy dog.” Irene took a deep breath and yelled: “I SHOULD KILL YOU FOR THIS!”

When Lindsey put her face in her hands, Irene turned once more to the rest of the room. CheddarTrek and Jadedmutt exchanged a look of absolute fear.

“Who’s next?! Well? Who thinks they can impress the Irene?”

Irene imperturbably faced CheddarTrek. Although CheddarTrek had seemed suspiciously anxious since the beginning of the morning, she became the apparition of utter fright when Irene paid her attention; indeed, CheddarTrek’s face had grown so white that Calz feared that the poor woman was peeing herself.

“My gift?” whispered CheddarTrek.

“No, Princess Diana’s tiara,” said Irene sarcastically. “Of course your gift! Hand it over.”

CheddarTrek shuddered, almost buckling at the knees. Calz took pity on the woman; he sighed and stepped forward.

“Hey, Irene, why don’t you open my gift first?” Calz said, sending glances towards him. “I’m sure you’ll like it.”

Irene gazed at the shoebox in Calz’s hands. Instantly, anger dissipated from her face; she squealed.

“Really, you have a gift for me? Oh my God, you care about me.” Irene sounded teary, as she grabbed Calz into a ferocious hug. “Thank you, thank you! This is too much.”

Calz awkwardly patted the sobbing Irene’s back, dimly pondering if the girl needed another psychiatric evaluation. While Irene continued to mutter a series of “thank you”s, CheddarTrek twitched again; Lindsey, who had finally taken her face out of her hands, stared at the ashen-looking woman, muttering something under her breath.

Drying her tears, Irene looked up at Calz. “Oh, look at me, crying like a silly girl. Maybe I’m being a little too emotional these days.”

If that’s a little, then Lungs is only a teensy bit randy, thought Calz mutinously.

“Okay, time for that gift, then,” said Irene.

Smiling, she took the shoebox from Calz’s hands. After peeling the birthday card from the cover, she opened the present. Her reaction was only a little extreme.

“What the fuck is this?” said Irene witheringly, lifting a doll out of the shoebox. The doll had a tall scruff of iodide-purple hair, which topped off a short, stubby body. Beady eyes, like those of an insect, bulged out of an ugly, smiling face. Calz tried to keep a calm demeanour against Irene’s seething anger.

“It’s a troll doll,” explained Calz, in a wavering voice. “You said that when you were younger, you had a penchant for the Bratz and Barbies. I couldn’t find those, so I compromised.”

“It’s a troll! Are you trying to say you think I’m a troll?!” snapped Irene, clenching her fists. “Fuck you, Calz! Fuck all of you!”

She tossed the doll at Calz’s face, before bellowing: “I SHOULD KILL YOU FOR THIS!”

“Now, where have I heard that before? Surely she hadn’t said that more than once.” Schadenfreude mumbled under her breath.

Irene either didn’t notice Schadenfreude’s wry comment or was pretending not to listen. Instead, she stood up and sneered at the rest of the girls, among which were the shuddering CheddarTrek and the muttering Lindsey. Calz himself tried to avoid Irene’s glare, as he swiftly grabbed the doll and pocketed it out of her wrath.

“All you need to listen! This is my birthday, and I deserve the utmost attention.” Irene started a winding speech. “Instead of love, I get a crazy story about some adventures involving a bunch of crackbrained doctors – and gifts which are both offensive and horrifying!”

Suddenly, her anger disappeared, only to be replaced by pure misery. “I thought you guys were my friends! How could you do this to me? Oh, this is terrible…”

Irene began to cry, when Ashaya tentatively piped up. “You’re crying. Wait, does this mean that you’re sad but no longer angry at us?”

Calz winced. Irene shifted into a snarl of anger with the spontaneity of an explosion.

“Ashaya, how dare you assume anything about me?” screamed Irene. “You know nothing about me! I SHOULD KILL YOU FOR THIS!”

Schadenfreude cleared her throat. “Um, guys?”

Everybody wheeled around, turning their gazes at her. This included Irene, whose expression was vacillating again. At the moment, it had switched to ‘Murderous Rage’. Schadenfreude blushed under the scrutiny.

“I don’t mean to intrude on Irene’s birthday celebrations, but Lindsey’s dead,” said Schadenfreude, pointing to her left.

There, Lindsey was sprawled across the floor, surrounded by a deluge of Zelda games and graphic doujinshi involving the blond protagonist, Link. She clutched a Bible, which was oddly bookmarked with $100 bills covered in lipstick. Calz didn’t need to check her pulse to know that Lindsey had kicked the bucket. However, that was not the odd part: next to Lindsey was CheddarTrek, who was twitching but still breathing. Colour was beginning to return to her pale face.

“Whoa, so that’s what mouth-to-mouth feels like,” mumbled ChedddarTrek in awe, staring at Lindsey’s prone body.

Irene burst into tears.

“So much fluff!” she cried. “Too many emotions! Oh, this is why I shouldn’t have come here, I get to all teary-eyed.”

“Irene,” Jadedmutt said, trying to reassure the birthday girl, “it’s not so bad – ”

“What did you just call me?” snapped Irene, changing her expression yet again. “I am not a bad person. How dare you? I SHOULD KILL YOU FOR THIS!”

While Irene screeched a barrage of expletives at Jadedmutt, making threats involving needles and grenades, Gila shuffled towards Schadenfreude, who was sitting by herself. Gila sighed and poured a glass of vodka, handing it to her companion.

“Do you think we should tell her about the birthday banners?” asked Gila.

Schadenfreude sighed. “Nah, it’s not like she’s going to notice them anyway. For a girl who’s famous of perceiving the unperceivable, Irene can be surprisingly oblivious to what’s staring her in the face.”

Calz, who was eavesdropping the girls’ conversation, followed Gila’s gaze, which led him to the wall right behind Irene. He guffawed. On that wall, nearest to Irene, was a birthday banner which originally read ‘Happy Birthday, Irene!’ However, somebody got gotten a red marker and crossed out those words, replacing them with an entirely new message:

“FREE THE WHALES, SAVE THE PRISONERS! BAN THE POT, LEGALISE THE BOMB! IGNORE THE FREE TITS, PAY ATTENTION TO THE LUNGS!”

Last night, a vicious beast wearing a Selena Gomez shirt broke into one of the delegates' abodes. CheddarTrek was nearly eaten out, but she somehow survived! Instead, Lindsey the Saint Mutt joined the Universal Female Unconsciousness as an Angel. The Prancing Protester also PROTESTED.

Day 4 has started.

This is in many ways awesome especially since we still have a shot at winning this. This probably means that we've gotten at least one witch, although I will have to do the math later or wait that somebody else does it. I was pretty sure the Prancing Protestor was dead since we had not seen any protesting yet, but obviously I was wrong. Firsly we now know that Lindsey was in fact innocent, which helps us know that any wagons or votes on her were on a town player. Also CheddarTrek is confirmed town, and I'm pretty sure we need to presume that Anya (whose name is constantly write as Anyway for some reason) is just about confirmed town as well, although I've not counted if it is in any way possible that she is a witch and we all still didn't get eaten. I've got an essay due tomorrow to write, but I'll be back with some actual content later.

Also, I just have to say both Zeit and Matt have written some very awesome text for this game and deserve all and any praise coming to them.

Also, I just have to say both Zeit and Matt have written some very awesome text for this game and deserve all and any praise coming to them.

First off, this. You guys are brilliant. This cannot be stressed nearly enough.

Secondly, does the protest slogan actually mean anything? Or is it just... Weird jargon and shouldn't have much attention paid to it.

Ash
12-31-2011, 01:44 AM
Okay, so, Cheddar is innocent. Anya is innocent, I hope.

First off, I fully expected to have been killed last night. I was surprised to see that that was not the case. I think that the witches must want to use me, hoping that I'll gain suspicion on me through having not been killed.

So, for me, half of us are accounted for. That leaves Gila, jadedmutt and Schadenfreude.

I have a feeling that jadedmutt is scum. I read through the thread, and she steadfastly wanted to lynch Lindsey, then defended Vira, who I am hoping was scum.

I'm going to go out on a limb and say that either Gila or Schadenfreude is scum, and I don't think Gila is. This leaves Schadenfreude. However, I'm just not entirely sure.

I do, however, think that jadedmutt is a witch.

So.

Deadline lynch vote: jadedmutt

Where is everyone? :(

I think the day started kinda late that I'm not sure if people have actually realized it has started. I'm still writing my essay due to today.

Ash

Well, Zeitgeist had better give us a super long day, because only half of us have posted and it's been ~36 hours-ish. I know Anya is on a camping trip, so she won't be around until after this weekend, I believe, and we really need her extra vote.

So!

I am thinking that this would be the time to start roleclaiming if you have any important information to share.

Gila
12-31-2011, 06:35 PM
I'm thinking extension due to New Year, camping trip and other similar factors would be super awesome too. I presume we need like 4 votes now with six people or does the Calz vote affect the required votes?

Anya
12-31-2011, 07:23 PM
I'll post my vote here, since I wont be available for another day or so.

Dead-line lynch vote: Gila

She seems the most suspicious right now.

Gila
12-31-2011, 07:27 PM
How exactly am I more suspicious than everybody else? Anyway, you do not want to lynch me today, that's all I'm going to say for now.

Anya
12-31-2011, 07:29 PM
That's ominous. :/

Gila
12-31-2011, 07:38 PM
It's not supposed to be ominous. I just think I shouldn't give up too much too soon considering I have no clue where today is going and where half the people are and if we are getting an extension or not.

---------- Post automerged at 02:38 ---------- Previous post was at 02:32 ----------

Anyway I've just tiered this for myself.

Town: Anya, CheddarTrek, Gila
Probably town: Ashaya
Possibly not town: jadedmutt, Schadenfreude

In the interest of getting something going, I'm voting for jadedmutt. Not a lot going on in her posts that I could glance at except some Lindsey votes, which she tired to wagon with Vira. Plus Ashaya is already voting for her so easier to get this to go somewhere.

Deadline smother vote: jadedmutt

CheddarTrek
12-31-2011, 08:44 PM
I'm no longer overly suspicious of Gila or Ashaya, given what I've been reading recently.

That leaves Jaded, Schaden, or Anya.

I'm still partial to Anya, honestly, but if we can't come to an agreement it'll just go back to someone else picking (if they're alive).

Therefore I guess I'll go along with the flow for Jadedmutt, even though I'd rather stick to Anya (sorry Anya, but you're the Galpal). If anyone else is in agreement with that we can always change it up later.

Deadline Vote: jadedmutt

Now, let's play some bloody video games wearing all the sexy pajamas we described earlier. Any suggestions?

Ash
12-31-2011, 09:13 PM
Well, I just got Terraria, Cthulu Saves The World, and Rollercoaster Tycoon 3! (Thank you, Krogan & Lutris) But those aren't multiplayer.

I'm always down for Mario Kart! ;D

So. Unless jadedmutt votes for herself, or Anya switches her vote, we won't be getting a lynch today.

Anya, come back! We need you! I need you!

CheddarTrek
01-01-2012, 01:12 AM
Well, I got Saints Row, and I think that does have a Multi-player option, so ... mwahahahaha

---------- Post automerged 01-01-2012 at 02:12 AM ---------- Previous post was 12-31-2011 at 11:47 PM ----------

*Comes in and sits down with a 2-liter of Coca-Cola, fires up Saints Row, and magically produces a pizza with extra cheese, extra sauce, pepperoni, and mushrooms from her awesome Vlasic Pickles pajamas...*

"So," Ched says as she takes a huge bite of pizza, "we gots to lynch somebody y'all. If y'all won't back me for Anya then get in here and get to votin' for jadedmutt so we can make sure we get someone offed good and proper, ya hear?"

Anya
01-01-2012, 01:39 AM
I will consider changing my vote to jadedmutt if someone can convince me that she is scum.

CheddarTrek
01-01-2012, 02:11 AM
Yeah I don't know if I can, hrm. I have no real reasons to be overly suspicious, but depending on how much time we have perhaps I can make a case later (after I eat).

Anyone else up for it?

What about the simple one: The chick who can pick someone to kill if we don't might well be dead, in which case we're going to get further behind if you don't go along with the flow. That'd make me more suspicious of you ;)

Anya
01-01-2012, 02:20 AM
Gila implied she was gonna kill me! Well.. not really. But subtext. It was there!

I don't wanna die.

Ash
01-01-2012, 02:20 AM
I have to say that I am becoming suspicious of Anya. Whereas before, I thought she had to be innocent because SHE HAD TO, now...I keep wondering, what if she is not? I just don't know.

I am going to assume that Zeitgeist is extending the day, as jadedmutt hasn't even replied yet. I am going to go to sleep, wake up, and explain why I think jadedmutt is a witch.

Like I said, if you have any information to share, now is the time to share it, if it can help. Please.

Gila
01-01-2012, 06:07 AM
I'm not going to kill you Anya. If I was trying to imply anything it was that it would not be good for town if I was killed today, which I possibly even shouldn't have said considering it may or may not give beastly witches some info. Of course it's always possible I was jus kidding...

Anyway I went through jadedmutt's posts for your viewing pleasure, and you tell me if this really looks like very pro town:

#54 Galpal vote without explanation and some fluff.
#56 Fluff
#60 Fluff
#98 Suspicion of Lindsey and a bit on LochNess
#111 Vote on Lindsey, and apology for it (I personally find apologies suspicious, but this game seems as kind of a special case in that regard)
#148 Fluff and has no clue, but I make a good point
#166 Another vote on Lindsey folowed by Vira doing the same
#189 Doesn't rly trust Lindsey (again) or me, vote on me, because of experience bandwagon (Ashaya or Vira)
#191 Should have read tutorial

Basically majority of this is constant suspicion on Lindsey up until the moment she dies and some scattered mentions of other people. Also Ashaya do you think we can afford to risk a soup kill at this point? We should have majority in the angels which may help save one person, but I'm still a bit undecided if mass claim will really help us more than it will hurt us.

Schadenfreude
01-01-2012, 08:55 AM
Sorry for being so late, everyone. I spent New Years with extended family, and there wasn't much time for internet usage.

Well, I have to say, jadedmutt was already on my shortlist for those of you most likely to be a witch, and Gila, your post brings up pretty much everything I would have pointed to for her scummyness, and highlights it fairly nicely. I don't really feel the need to rehash it when it's already been said.

Deadline Vote: jadedmutt

As for the secondary level suspicion some of you have of me, what exactly makes you guys think I'm a witch? Unless you give me some reasoning, I can't really say more than "I assure you, I'm not." Which isn't that persuasive when trying to prove to you that I'm innocent, nor is it helpful in getting you to think more on the people who actually could be witches.

First off, thanks for going through her posts. Pleasant thing to wake up to. I don't think that we should mass claim, but I do think that anyone who has any information that can help us should reveal.

Okay. So, my thought process.

Cheddar is confirmed town. I am confirmed town (obviously I myself know this, though in any of your guys' thought processes, you would be in this spot).

So that leaves: jadedmutt, Anya, Gila, and Schadenfreude.

The possible scum teams are:
jadedmutt/Anya -due to her not voting for jadedmutt
Gila/Schadenfreude -due to you guys voting FOR jadedmutt, if she is innocent
jadedmutt/Schadenfreude -perhaps you are voting for guilty jadedmutt in an attempt to distract.
jadedmutt/Gila -same deal, though I do not think this is the case.

I do not have Anya paired with anyone else, as I can be fairly sure that Anya/Gila is not the case, and I don't think Anya/Schadenfreude is either.

Make of that list what you will.

Personally, I think the most likely are jadedmutt/Anya followed by jadedmutt/Schadenfreude followed by Gila/Schadenfreude.

However, even after lynching jadedmutt, we won't have any information.

This is why I asked for anyone with HELPFUL information to step forward.

You're right. But I'm kind of iffy still. You better not be scum and just being really convincing to make us kill off another town.

Rescind dead-line lynch vote: Gila

Dead-line lynch vote: jadedmutt.

I realllly really hope I don't end up regretting this.

Also, how do we know that there is two witches still alive?

Ash
01-01-2012, 03:34 PM
Let's go over this:
Day 1: Little Knee is Mamoswined
Night 1: Palindrome is eaten
Day 2: insecta is smothered
Night 2: LochNess and 1and1isthree are killed. This means Quinanya killed, and was still alive. One, if not both, are town.
Day 3: Vira is smothered.
Night 3: Cheddar is SAVED. Lindsey sacrifices herself.

So, here is a list:
Little Knee (MamoSwined) CONFIRMED TOWN
Palindrome (Devoured by Witches) CONFIRMED TOWN
Insectamantidae (Smothered) CONFIRMED TOWN
1and1is3 (Strung Like A Bon-Bon) COULD BE A WITCH *or*
LochNess (Strung Like A Bon-Bon) COULD BE A WITCH
Vira (Smothered) COULD BE A WITCH
Lindsey (Dead in a Debauched Pile of Zelda) CONFIRMED TOWN.

So, best case scenario is that we have 1 witch left, if Vira and 1and1isthreeO OR LochNess are witches. Second scenario is that we have two witches left, with Vira OR 1and1isthree OR LochNess as our sole witch. Worst case scenario is that NONE of them were witches, and we have three witches left, in which case Quinanya will strike tonight if she wasn't Vira.

I'm going with scenario 2, because I don't think we are lucky enough for scenario 1, and I REALLY FUCKING HOPE we are not experiencing scenario 3.

By the way -- thanks for the whole "Saving" thing guys. <3 I forgot to mention that earlier.

I'm with you mostly Ashaya. I do feel that Gila isn't a witch (nor or you), though I can't remember what she said that gave me that impression. It was some off-hand comment iirc, but I could have interpreted it wrong.

I'm still suspicious of Anya because (1) I know I'm not a witch and (2) Anya and I were the only real contenders for the Galpal thing. That means that either the Witches didn't bother to try and get one of their own elected or Anya is a witch and they went with it. On the other hand Anya did vote for me, and I originally voted for her because she wasn't suspicious, so I could be doing Anya a grievous wrong. Jadedmutt also voted for Anya, which makes me suspect her ever so slightly more.

Well damn. I don't really know what to say. I could try to make you guys realize that you're wrong, but the chances of convincing enough of you guys is slim. So I guess this is goodbye. It's been great playing with you guys.

And as far as the "defending Vira" thing: I don't find credibility in the "she's experienced, so she must be a witch" train of thought. I didn't think that that would have affected how the roles were chosen and wanted to make that clear.

For what it's worth Jade, I'd rather lynch Anya than you. But I'd rather lynch you than have a stalemate where no one is taken out.

It wasn't that she has experience hence she may be a witch. It was more like she is experienced and yet is not playing actively like you would expect an experienced town player to play hence she may be a witch.

You know, it just hit me. Last time I was saved. Suddenly I am more aware than ever of my own mortality. I hope I don't die tonight, but if I do, know that I go to my death with eyes wide open in anticipation of that next great adventure...

But seriously, screw anyone who screws with me! Death to witches! Please do keep my suspicions in mind if that happens and kill the murderin' scum for me! FOR ME! FREEEEDOM!

Also, that next great adventure? Screw that -- I haven't reached max level and gotten to raid yet with this life.

jadedmutt: if you aren't a witch, what are you? You're going to be lynched today, so you ought to tell us.

CheddarTrek: here's hoping that we both survive another night.

---------- Post automerged at 04:08 PM ---------- Previous post was at 08:33 AM ----------

I have a question. Do you guys think it would be worth it to lynch Anya today? She has two votes, and after reading the thread over many times, I am positive that the scum team is jadedmutt/Anya.

I mean, we can go for jadedmutt, as we already have enough votes, but I think that Anya is more dangerous, and it would be easy enough to switch our votes.

No matter what, you guys, if I am killed tonight, LYNCH EITHER ANYA OR JADEDMUTT TOMORROW.

We are so close to the finish, though~~~

I'm really not a witch. And I know that lynching me would be really really bad for us. Like you said I do have two votes, this is an advantage against the witches.

I think that Gila and jadedmutt could be the witches- that's if there are two witches.

Gila

Anya, the problem with convincing at least me is that I know I am not a witch. But I'm not convinced Anya is a witch either at this point. I would need a reread and I can't really afford it right now since it's like half past three or something and I should have been sleeping for like 5 hours since I have an early morning.

What we really need is jadedmutt coming here and telling us who she thinks the witches are (can't convince us anyway is no reason not to), but I doubt that will happen, because she is a witch and has zero interest in helping town by providing information.

Anya, I can't believe I whiteknighted you this whole fucking time. I trusted you ;_; Now I know what it is like to be a whiteknighting guy in normal mafia.

I feel so betrayed.

Anyway, this is how the rest of the game is going to play out:

jadedmutt is lynched.
Either me or Cheddar are killed, most likely :(
We have 4 players, Anya, Gila, Schadenfreude, me/Cheddar.

All three of you town players MUST vote for Anya. I swear, if I am killed, and we manage to lose, I will be very unhappy.

But I trust you guys to win the game if I am killed. Don't kill me tonight, Anya ;_;

That's a bit of a stretch. I didn't vote for jadedmutt because she wasn't really on my radar until everyone explained their reasoning.

I know I'm not a witch, and I don't know how I can convince you. Your insistent is kind of off putting.

I think we will know whole lot more tomorrow, but at least we have deadline votes so the scum can't quicklynch anybody presuming that's the case. Anywa, we will be like 5 after somebody is lynched today and the scum will kill somebody tomorrow night making us four, so will the power of that role (presuming alive) which checks everybody when there only four people alive active or does it need to be four people alive at the start of the night?

Also, Schadenfreude, can see you there, who do you think is scum besides jadedmutt?

Also, Schadenfreude, can see you there, who do you think is scum besides jadedmutt?

Well, you were on the list for quite a while near the start, but you've dropped down into the area of "Not confirmed town, but probably not a witch." since then.

Frankly, the byplay between Ashaya and Anya just now is making me suspicious of both of them. The ferocity behind Ashaya's argument makes me think she's a witch trying to get us to kill the galpal, and yet her points seem valid at the same time. Which makes it hard to read motives.

I pretty much just know that Cheddar and I aren't witches. Everyone else is at various levels of fair game, jadedmutt being at the top of the list.

Like I said guys, if I get killed -- keep in mind that I think Gila and Ashaya are innocent, and go from there... If I die, just keep that in mind and vote for someone else, because I trust those dudes not to have killed me. They selected the correct cookies when I brought some -- the delicious ones -- and only awesome people could have picked those out of the pile.

I've been voting for Anya this whole time, and I don't really regret that. I might change my mind tomorrow, but we'll see.

Ashaya -- I'd be happy to change my vote to Anya, but I'm not sure we'll get popular support in time.

Anya -- Sorry hon. Even if you really are a witch (and you might not be), I feel sorta bad. Ashaya made a good point or two though, and I've given my reasoning already.

But I trust you guys to win the game if I am killed. Don't kill me tonight, Anya ;_;

Because I am terrified that I will be killed tonight, and I wanted to repost my thought process.

WE ARE GONNA WIN THIS.

Okay, firstly, I apologise for the very late conclusion to Day 4. I blame a combination of my travels taking me to foreign countries and the holidays. However, you guys really should have posted far more quickly. Yes, you posted prolifically, but it was all much after the maximum deadline of 48 hours! This Day was almost twice as long as usual, and the conversations continued. Technically, jadedmutt shouldn't even have gotten lynched, considering that she only garned three votes within the 48 hours.

It's unfair for the Witch Confederation in granting long Days, because it allows the town to gather in strength and for information to be shared more easily. Yes, this is partially my fault, since I really should have closed Day 4 earlier, but I will sternly remind you guys that you mustn't take so long to make decisions!

For Night 4, I expect full decorum and prompt decisions! Let's keep this night within the allocated 24 hours, if we can!

Now, for fairness sake, I will have to delete all posts which proceed outside the Deadline of 48 hours. However, as a compromise and acceptance that this is partially my fault, I shall allow Schadenfreude's and the other members' votes to count, even though they were outside the window. Moreover, I'll only delete the posts outside the deadline when Day 5 begins. You will have Night 4 to save what you need, if it's absolutely essential.

Does that sound like a good solution? Good. And I hope you all had a Happy New Year! Once again, I apologise for this very belated close for Day 4. Enjoy.

~ DAY 4 HAS CONCLUDED ~

http://i818.photobucket.com/albums/zz103/tarnished_feathers/SleepoverEdited2-1.png
Somewhat expected, but still strange, events happen as the day ends at the Slumber Party...

A consensus was reached. The Slumber Party has chosen to kill jadedmutt through a violent Pillow Fight. Dun dun dun.

/./././.

In the gilded conference room within the city-state of Oestrogen, one of the most important events of the galaxy was taking place. The issue of Merrill had stagnated Femme Nation’s economies, which had veered the Core Worlds close to civil war. Mafiatonium, the primary fuel of starships within the galactic unity, originated from Merrill; if the Council of Femme Nation could not find accord soon, all interplanetary travel might cease – and the Core Worlds would simply descend into the insular demesnes of the previous epochs.

Dame Mishie Chelle knew this fact too well. Her convening of an emergency conference attested to her great concern. However, the conference – the “Slumber Party” – did not escape attention. The Beastly Confederation of Witches, who picketed the Council’s meetings with divisive messages, had aspired to sabotage the Slumber Party, if rumours spoke true. So far, the lives of six delegates had already been lost.

Dame Mishie read the list to the other councillors, whom she was meeting at the Capital far away from Oestrogen.

“Most recently, we had to bid farewell to LochNess and Vira the Vile,” said Mishie, quietly.

A tall councillor with a protruding chin raised an eyebrow. The woman, gifted with fair hair and a fairer complexion, spoke in a breezy, Australian twang.

“I heard,” she said, “that the other delegates killed Vira the Vile with their own hands. I realise that Oestrogen has been placed under a communications embargo for the purposes of cordoning against any Witch interferences, but our own delegates?” The remarkably masculine councillor coughed. “This is a political disaster. The media will have a field day.”

Mishie took off her spectacles and rubbed them against a cleaning cloth.

“Councillor Shezza.” Mishie addressed the woman. “Vira the Vile’s official cause of death is voluntary asphyxiation. DOMINATRIX, our official espionage network, insists that we can pass her death off as a lesbian encounter gone wrong.” Mishie sniffed. “We all know that Delegate Vira’s personal life is… chequered. There is a reason why she is banned for petting farms.”

Dame Mishie stressed: “Especially those with pigs.”

Councillor Shezza looked askance at Mishie but chose not to reply. Instead, she fished out an addictive, handheld game from her carrier to play. On the back, it read “LoL”.

“Which star-systems continue to clash over Merrill’s bid for independence?” asked Lady Tinn de L’Escargot, who had up to this moment said nothing. “I would ‘ope that zis conflict is near resolution. Our fighting ‘as dragged on for too long.”

Mishie referred to a datapad. “Star-systems Alpha Taurus and IPAte refuse to acknowledge the planet Merrill’s sovereignty. Their stubborn refusal is forcing the hands of their delegates to abstain from any negotiations.” She frowned. “The Star-systems which recognise Merrill’s stake to independent control are endeavouring to maintain reconciliations, but it won’t be long before we see full-fleshed war.”

“I don’t really see a problem,” was the glib response of the councillor sitting next to Mishie.

The other councillors stared at the woman, who was busy taking pictures of herself with a portable camera. She was young and rather pretty, despite her vapid and nonchalant expression. Although colourless, her bouncy curls reminded Mishie of effervescing bubbles from a soda pop. The nametag on her shirt was smudged from jam: Bloo– Lus-

Since she couldn’t read the name, Mishie decided that it must say “Blooming Lustre”.

Snapping another photograph, Blooming Lustre giggled and passed the camera to Councillor Mourn. While the two women busied themselves with the pictures, Lady Tinn turned her gimlet gaze towards Mishie.

“And our latest casualty?” asked Lady Tinn.

“Jadedmutt. DOMINATRIX’s surveillance reports indicate that Arbiter Ashaya wanted to re-enact the Breaking Dawn birth-scene on Jadedmutt. Needless to say, it did not end well.”

The room became silent. None of the councillors dared to speak; even Mourn dropped the camera for a moment to seem pensive. Stoic but trembling, Lady Tinn took a deep breath. She folded her arms, appearing troubled and meditative.

“Ze truth is,” started Lady Tinn, “I received yet another message from our anonymous adversary. I ‘ave a theory that the writer is connected to the Confederation of Witches, even its leader, but I do not ‘ave any proof.”

Impassively, she uploaded a message to the projection screen. “Please read and observe.”

Mishie and the rest of the Femme Nation Council leaned forward, examining the words which sprawled in a thick, bold font. The text was red, the tint of shrivelling organs:

“Tinn,

For many years, I have watched you from the dark crevices of this wretched world. You have spiralled in and out of my dreams and subconscious, but soon, this will be no more. I will finally achieve peace. The clash for Merrill is only the beginning. By the end, you will smell the stench of burning wood, as your delighted Femme Nation becomes a sea of fire.

And at last, you will finally have learnt to not trifle with me. There are forces at work beyond your comprehension. It will all end, and I will vitiate my standing.

Prepare. This shall be the last time I message you.

The Lich Witch.”

Speechless, the councillors gaped at Lady Tinn, who was attempting to keep an inscrutable, neutral expression. She gave a small, self-deprecating smile.

“We have little time left,” she said flatly. “If the Slumber Party does not reach a treaty soon, I’m afraid that I’ll be done like a Thanksgiving Turkey.” Tinn paused for dramatic effect. “Or what Irene, during those mafia games, calls ‘Tuesday’.”

Okay, first things first! After thinking about it, I've decided against deleting the posts, because really, what's done has already been done. You've all had enough time for the information to seep into your brains anyway.

Secondly, I thank you guys for your ultra-prompt responses! You responded within 24 Hours of the end of Day 4! Well-done. I applaud you. In contrast, your host is very late; I had to travel to NY, and my internet access was severely limited. Call it the benefit of travelling with censuring parents. The trip was to help me decide a college to attend. So far, JHU seems to be the best pick. This trip really helped me sort out my irl stuff, which I unfortunately had to place over DLP.

However, I realise that some of you guys were in a state of anticipation. I apologise and can only hope that you view the wait similarly to how you would've viewed the wait between GOF and OotP: the anticipation only builds your excitement. :3

Thank you to everybody who supported Femmafia. I sincerely hope that, despite all the drama that plagued it, it was truly a pleasant and funny experience for y'all. I know it was for me. =)

More shenanigans awaken the dawn at the Slumber Party....

The Beastly Witches have made another move, preparing their fangs for a zesty meal...

/./././.

Calz didn't quite know what to do. After jadedmutt's messy death, courtesy of Ashaya's insistence on re-creating the Demon-Baby birth scene from Twilight, one would have thought that the Slumber Party would be more sombre. However, the morning of the fifth Day was nothing but energetic. Schrodinger, an enigmatic and broad-shouldered Delegate, proposed hosting a play for Oestrogen's national stage. Her choice of theatre was an epic fantasy called 'Eragon', featuring a farm-boy who receives a blue dragon and rescues the beauteous elven princess.

“A completely original work,” Schrodinger asserted.

Although he was the proponent of the Arts, Calz really didn't think that hosting a play soon after Vira and jadedmutt's deaths was a sensitive move. Hence, he tried implying that perhaps they should wait, until a peace treaty can be finalised. However, nobody listened. Schrodinger herself was too busy playing director for Eragon; excited, she was currently casting the roles of the intrepid rebels who were fighting to liberate the land of Alagaesia.

“Now that we've cast Heather Sinclair as Saphira the Blue Dragon, it's time to pick our male protagonist,” said Schrodinger, unfolding a list. “Our farmboy, who is thrust into destiny to rescue the elven princess, must be the epitome of youth and adventure.”

She looked up. “Who wants to be Luke Skywalker?”

None of the delegates replied. Instead, they glanced at each other with queasy hesitance, hoping that somebody else would volunteer for the protagonist role. Being the main character was difficult; one did not simply walk into Mordor Alagaesia's Helgrind.

“Nobody wants to be Luke?” said Schrodinger, disappointed. “I'll have to assign a Luke myself, then! Let's see. Who has the nubile naivety of our young dragonrider?” She pointed at a rather distracted, sullen woman who was sitting at the back. “You! Gila! You can be the sunny farmboy, Luke.”

“I'd rather watch than play,” was Gila's wan reply.

Tutting, Calz wiggled his hips in disapproval: Gila had made a poor move. Because Schrodinger hailed from the planet Dhullia, 'no' translated as 'yes'. If Gila didn't want to accept the role, she should have instead blackmailed or threatened the director with retribution.

Sure to Calz's predictions, Schrodinger deftly ignored the lethargic Gila and turned to the other girls, who were wringing their skirts with nervous anticipation.

“Next up, the elven princess,” she said brightly. “Princess Leia needs to be bold and beautiful, so beautiful that she rivals that swimsuit model, Mary-Sue. Any volunteers?”

Ashaya leapt. Her small face, tight with giddy exhilaration, burned with the chance to take centre stage as the princess of the elves – and freedom fighters.

“I'm beautiful! Pick me as Princess Leia! I've always wanted to be a PRINCESS!” screamed Ashaya.

“You've always wanted to be a princess? Really?” CheddarTrek sounded sceptical. “May I ask why?”

Ashaya harrumphed. “Why not? Free gifts, the chance to travel everywhere, all eyes on me. Making a living from being hot...” She clapped her hands. “It's the ideal job. I could do it everyday, thriving on all that attention.”

Grinning, Ashaya pushed up her chest so that the other girls could see. Anya in particular leaned in to get a closer look.

“And it'd be a shame for these tits to go to waste. All princesses have huge racks. Just look at The Little Mermaid. No fish has that kind of inflatables!”

“Perfect! Then Ashaya can be Princess Leia, Love Interest in Eragon,” said Schrodinger, as she ticked another name off her list.

CheddarTrek asked: “Who is playing the debonair scoundrel, Murtagh – ”

“Han Solo, not Murtagh,” corrected Schrodinger idly.

“Does Han Solo interact with the elven princess? Because if he does, sign me up,” said Anya, whose wide eyes were fixed on the angle at which Ashaya's bossom strained against the white bathrobe she called a 'costume'.

Referring to her list, Schrodinger shook her head at Anya.

“No, you have to play R2D2, the robotic sidekick to C3PO, played by Calz because he's British and effeminate. You two are the Will & Grace of the dragonriders, who will save Alagaesia.”

“Robots? I thought Eragon was a fantasy?” questioned Schadenfreude.

Nonchalant, Schrodinger waved her hand. “It borrows some elements from science-fiction here and there.”

“Me as R2D2? Is it because I'm spunky and cute?”

Ashaya snorted. “Anya, it's because you're short.”

“To answer your questions, CheddarTrek will play Han Solo,” said Schrodinger, speaking over Anya's hiss. “And his wooly friend, Chewbacca, will be played by Irene.”

At the mention of the name 'Irene', an Asian girl wearing plaid socks dropped the tome she was holding and looked up. She stood akimbo, glaring at everybody who glanced upon her. Calz was reminded of an enraged elephant during a sexual encounter gone wrong.

“Why am I fucking Chewbacca?” she snarled.

Schrodinger's response was feckless: “Because you rave incoherently and have a hairy upperlip in the morning.”

While CheddarTrek restrained a frothing Irene, dragging her to the kitchen, Schrodinger took out copies of the play titled 'Eragon' and distributed them to the rest of the cast. The director spoke quickly as she did so.

“And finally, Schadenfreude will play Lando Calrissian, since none of us like her. Darth Vader, the villainous traitor who controls the realm, will be played by Hermonie, who is a truly evil mastermind.” Schrodinger opened her copy of the play. “If everybody is happy with their roles, then we can begin acting Act II, Scene III. Our dragon-riding farmboy, Luke Skywalker, is about to rescue Princess Leia from a dastardly prison within Middle-Earth.”

“Middle-Earth? Honey, don't you mean a prison within Alagaesia?” asked Calz.

“Same difference,” were Schrodinger's words.

Gila, who had the opening lines of the scene, seemed apathetic to what was happening. She began reading her lines with the clinical tone of an undertaker.

“Princess, I'm here to rescue you,” Gila recited.

“Oh, you are rescuing me? Oh, my Lordie,” gasped Ashaya, as she thrust out her padded bosom towards the bored Gila.

Schrodinger seemed peeved, as she addressed the girl's panting portrayal of Princess Leia. “Cut! Ashaya, that wasn't your line.”

“I know, but I wanted to improvise!” Ashaya said, brightly. “The princess mustn't have had great sex in ages, being stuck in that Middle-Earth prison and all. Her libido must be burning, hence my awesome showcase of tits.”

“How fantastic,” deadpanned Gila.

Ashaya flashed a kilowatt smile. “Aw, thank you!”

After muttering under her breath about girls not recognising sarcasm, Gila yawned and strolled towards the room's exit. She cracked her knuckles, when Schrodinger, ever the attentive director, asked where the hell Gila was going.

“To get food. I'm bored and hungry,” intoned Gila.

Schrodinger scowled. “Can't you wait? I wanted you to try on Luke's outfit. Crossdressing always excites me...”

“Sure, I can wait.” Gila's voice was flat. “And on the topic, Meryl Streep won her two Oscars for baking. That was sarcasm, by the way, if you couldn't tell by my inflection.”

Without another word, Gila walked out of the play room and into a winding corridor beyond sight. Schrodinger seemed embittered by this series of events, but she didn't say a word and continued with the play's rehearsals, calling the actors her “talking props”. Although the delegates were hesitant, they complied, not wishing to incur Schrodinger's oddly manlike chokeholds. This arrangement proceeded for the next thirty minutes, until a scream sounded from the kitchen.

“EEEK, BLOOOOOD!!”

Realising that the scream came from Irene, the delegates rushed to the kitchen, only to find a sight of slaughter: CheddarTrek was sprawled across the floor, outdated Christmas bonbons stuffed into her mouth, while Gila's stomach was swollen, as though somebody had fed her a most fatally disagreeable meal. Both bodies were huddled next to Irene, who was wailing in the bloodshed.

“Well, they're stuffed,” noted Schadenfreude.

“Why did Gila have to die? Why?” cried Irene, clutching Gila's clothes. “She could have been our Canadian judge, the Master of Mamo!”

Ashaya, still in her Princess Leia attire, frowned. “Isn't she a little short for a Master of Mamo?”

When the other girls gaped at Ashaya, Irene wailed and pulled something from beside her left pocket. Under the morning light, Calz noticed that it was some sort of banner, inscribed with an odd message written in magenta lipstick.

“I found this nearby Gila, when I went to the bathroom,” explained Irene, before bursting into an absurdly ostentatious array of tears.

The banner's message was strange but familiar:

“THE LICH WITCH IS STILL PROWLING. WE MUST HUNT THE WITCHES BEFORE IT IS TOO LATE! GIVE ME LIBERTY OR GIVE ME TAX-CUTS! AND BE PRO-LIFE: PRESERVE AND KEEP PRISONERS WELL FED! MATTSILVER FOR POKEFAB PRESIDENT 2012!”

First off, I am not a witch. Do you want me to reveal my role to prove it to you? Because I will.

CheddarTrek and Gila died last night, meaning we must have had a vigilante kill again. Meaning Vira and jadedmutt weren't witches. God we suck. Though, knowing that Cheddar was confirmed town, Gila would've been the vig kill, and all things considered, pretty much assuredly a witch. Which makes me feel stupid for going along with what she said.

Right now, I'm thinking that Ashaya was right, that Anya is the witch.

Voting for Gila then changing your mind after she wrote a big list about why jadedmutt had to be a witch? You've been very sneaky.

Lynch vote: Anya.

I'm pretty sure are the witch, since you and Gila were close. Ash must be the vigilante.

Hm.

First off, I am not a witch. Do you want me to reveal my role to prove it to you? Because I will.

No, it didn't have to be the vigilante. The witches have SOUP. They could have easily souped both of them correctly, if they guessed their roles.

Ah, I guess it could've been that, too. Thanks, I didn't think of that.

...Don't we now have a vote stalemate, what with Anya being the galpal? What happens now?

Oh, you are correct.

This means.

I AM THE NESSPERADO. I SACRIFICE MYSELF TO DECIDE THE LYNCH. ANYA IS GOING TO BE LYNCHED

And now we wait for Zeitgeist~
