What are your fanfiction pet peeves? Mines are the following:
Aurors are incompetent Wizards.
Death Eaters are build up as crucial dangerous Wizards yet young Harry and Co. defeat them with Stunning Charms.
Magical Puberty and Maturation, is it me? Or is this a poor excuse to make Harry and others more powerful without a plot?
Harry learns Dark Arts and that's it, when the story lectures Harry on balance and whatnot.
Heir fics when Harry is the heir of two founders through his father, and the other two through his mother.
A letter is sent to Harry by Dumbledore, and then he starts PMSing and goes to Gringotts.
Gods and Demons. Some stories can play it out very well (Irreversible Destiny).
Technology. I don't know why, it just kills me/.
