Independence day holiday was a happy one for me, got my hands on the kindle edition and finished it in 6 hours straight :p

Change of pace and style from the previous book but still engrossing and a very cool ending.

Jorg seems to have moved from Chaotic evil to Chaotic Neutral, but is still every bit a ruthless as before. Loved the snippets about each of the brothers that are interspersed between the chapters.

And the new character introduced (dont want to spoil this) is one of the most interesting ones. Looking forward to a greater role in the next book!

Another thing that stood out to me was how the author fleshed out the world a lot more this time around... was great fun trying to identfy the corresponding IRL locations (planning a read through of both the books this weekend just to look at what other references I missed!!)

Not really sure Book 2 needs its own thread, but whatever.

I burned through it pretty quickly as well.

Jorg is Jorg. He can't be categorized.

Didn't know the book was out already. Ten hours to re-read the first book and then finish the second. No sleep for me tonight.

Thanks for the reminder, you've just deprived me of sleep as well.
