    Title: Walking Shadow
    Author: Pogrebin
    Rating: PG-13
    Genre: Drama
Pairing: Pairing serves almost no importance.
    Words: 8480
    Updated: April 28, 2003

    Status: One-Shot.
Summary: There is a story here, just one thread in the knotted up wool ball of history, stretched out and twisted, curled around a finger like a noose. It is not truth, because it is words, and in the sin of writing down life, it changes. July 31st 2030: for the second time in his life, Harry Potter makes a choice. Truth. Words. Fate. Reality. Magic. And stories themselves. Stylistic metafiction.

I really don't know where to put this one, but rest assured, it will be different that anything you've probably read. Beautifully syntax'ed. Makes it very hard to understand at places.

I can only recommend this one! Not an easy read but defiantly a worthy one!
It is subtle and brutal at the same time!

    Read it!

This was absolutely brilliant, but horribly executed, IMO.

Its sad that all of pogrebin's stuff isn't recced here. Considering we have taken stuff like Knowledge is Power and given it a hundred pages worth of posts, we can surely create a lot more space for this author's brilliant works.

Best one shot I have ever read.

Writing was excellent, as was the ideas and plot.

I don't understand how crap like this is the same rating as this, but apparently people enjoy badly written, badly plotted the same as something as well written as this.

3/5. My primary reaction was WTF, I wonder if the author thinks he went wild enough with the profound philosophy and poetry.

    It was...different. I give the idea a 3.5/5 and the writing style a 3/5.

I think that the idea was good but... the author got ahead of himself. I feel that he tried to write something profound, but it ended up a bit muddled. I hated the poetry and quotes thrown in there.
