For those unfamiliar with The Boondocks animated series, Uncle Ruckus is a black man who is very, very racist against black people. He himself claims to have revitiligo, which is 'the opposite of what Micheal Jackson had'.

So, yeah. It's a thing. Maybe lulzy, but I'm of two minds. Ruckus is a comic relief character, and best in small doses. I understand why they can't do a live action movie for other characters, but I don't know how entertaining this could be.

 

I'd like to see a 5 minute proof-of-concept clip. Let's see a skit with live-action Uncle Ruckus being funny, or a meta-skit with him asking for donations to make his movie. It's great that they're using the actual Uncle Ruckus voice actor as the live action actor, but I want to see proof that it can work first.

The only video I've seen so far has no dialogue.

 

I... don't know if this would work out. I mean, I'd pay to see it, but I don't know if it would work out too well in practice.

I approve of this in the name of White Jesus and the Reverend Father Uncle Ruckus - No Relation. In all seriousness, though, I really don't expect this to be particularly good, but the fact that they're doing it at all is pretty funny in and of itself.
