I stared at the chess board. It was your standard board, black and white tiles and two opposing colors. The only really odd thing about it was that it was gigantic and had something written on it.

"He who wins shall conquer. He who falls shall wither. Let the games begin Harry Blackstone Copperfield Dresden. You shall know by the end which you really want. The destruction of those your love belongs to or the destruction of those your family is a part of."

Little did I know it would be a hell of a lot more complicated than that.




Yes folks, I have come back from the ashes with a new Dresden Mafia. For those who experienced the rage-inducing clusterfuck that was my original version, fear not, this is a new and wholly simpler set up.

The Rules:
Normal mafia rules. I will be doing this in 48 hour day/24 hour night increments to make it easier on myself and whomever I can get to help me host.

Positions:

There are 15 total spots.
of that, there are 7 total power roles.

The Good Guys:

Harry Dresden: Once per night can choose a target via thaumaturgy to keep safe from the evils of the night.

Molly Carpenter: Once per night can check for White/Red Court influence via her own substantial pyschological gifts

They will be unable to Communicate, but Dresden will know who Molly is. Molly is blind. If after 5 days both are alive and untainted, they will be allowed a shared QT.

The Red Court

Red Queen: Once per night can choose a victim to murder in a cold blooded feast. They become a Red Pawn. They will know the Identity of the first Red Pawn.

Red Pawn: Starts with one. Can only be a Red Pawn if killed by the Red Queen, will not know if they are a pawn. If the Red Queen is targeted by the White King, the pawn will "take the shot" so to speak and dies. This happens in order of turning.

They will not share a QT

The White Court:

The White King: Once a night, can enthrall humans. If he Enthralls the Red Queen or the Red Pawn they die. If he enthralls a human they are added to his White Thrall counter. If he comes to the end with the most enthalled he wins. Knows who the first Thrall is

White Thrall: Starts with one. Each time White King enthralls, they are added to his counter. They will remain unaware. If the Red Queen targets the White King, the White Thrall takes the hit instead and dies.

They will not share a QT

The Neutral Man AKA The Crime Lord


Gentleman Johnny Marcone: Once every other night, Marcone chooses a number between 1 and 20 as well as a court. I roll a 20 sided die. If his number comes up, every Thrall/Pawn in that court dies. If there are no Pawns/Thralls the Queen/King Die. After two successful attempts, this power is removed and Marcone simply is trying to survive.


Win Conditions:

The Good Guys must remove all Vampires. They don't have to remove Marcone.


The Red Court must kill/turn everyone.


The White Court must kill/turn everyone

The Neutral must survive to the end, untainted.

This will officially kick off at Tuesday, Feb 26th 2013 at 7:00pm EST(US) which is Wednesday Feb 27th 2013 Midnight GMT.
