If you're just on a kick for all things Death Note, there's the novella(?) Another Note, in the same universe afaik. I've got it on my to-read, it can be found online.

For fics, I haven't come across anything I liked that Silver Pard didn't write (or wasn't under 1k words, which makes it no more than a few minutes of reading). Genius Is A Curse looks good, but I hazily remember reading something similar that took a really distasteful twist later on. It doesn't have any Death Note shenanigans in it, which is a minus.

I'm just really disappointed, because I've spent hours looking through the Death Note fics, and I've never found anything that can even approach Redivivus.

 

Yeah, I've read Another Note, it is quite good.
