Another good story abandoned. Too bad about this one. Anyway, I hope the author decides to continue it. Would be a waste if the story wasn't.

I just read this for the first time, and it surpassed all of my expectations.

Even after nearly five years since it was started, this is a great story - the writing is top-notch, it's somewhat original, and the characters are both believable and likable.

It's a shame that this was never continued, but there's enough that it's still worth reading. If you have not read this, do so. Now.

    5/5 from me, even now.

This was in a original idea that I've never really read before. Despite being abandoned, more then enough to read at 8 chapters that are good sized. The writing is excellent as well. I enjoyed reading this time travel fic which is a gem considering the genre doesn't usually produce such enjoyable reads. 5/5 despite being abandoned.

Evan James Black? Why can't authors choose an alias to harry unrelated with his true name?

Couldn't really get past the first chapter. The sudden knowledge of occlumency, and the "stay-out-of-my-mind" speech is a huge turn off, and the way Harry just accepted to go back in time to befriend the dark lord without really thinking about it was a really shitty plot device too.

    Really?.... really?

This story is hideous. The tense keeps changing from past to present. Super Harry from reading books and without any real explanation. Plus like Night Spy said, Harry is just a wee bit too accepting of Dumbledores plan. It might have been decent 4 or 5 years ago, but now its just... bad.

It's not really bad and back when it was written it was good but I can't find myself to rate it more than a 3/5. The plot seems a bit unrealistic.

I know standards have risen in the past few years, but... god damn! If this had been written and put in the For Review section today, it wouldn't last a day before being shit-canned. It well and truly boggles the mind...

2/5 Decent idea, and maybe even decent writing back in the day, but nowhere even approaching readable now.
