    Cool edit pro 2.0 for cutting samples, and Fruity Loops 3.56 for drums, bass, tempo and everything else.

    I've use fruity loops before..its good. Mostly because it ws the first one I've used. Haven't used cool edit yet. I'll have to give it a try.
