Frankly I don't like Ginny. Ginny/Harry seems more like a schoolgirl crush. I rejoiced when it seemed she'd gotten over him in book 5.
Many people who like Harry/Ginny point out that she is so much like his mother. But excuse me,m when I look at a girl I look for a woman, not a clone of my mother.

yes, well....ginny/harry pairing isn't exactly all that pleasant. But then again, I'm just into the ultra-Harry fics. Damn any shipping!!

Besides....when you ultra-harry fics you get a lot more stuff besides just normal magic....I'm into the whole elemental, ancient lore, etc.

So I can *grudgingly* ignore the mushy bits and just focus on the action. So there you go.

I don't recall this ever coming up in canon. Only thing is they both have red hair, and i think the rest of the shit about his mother=ginny is made up.

I pretty much figured Harry would get with Ginny the minute I finished book 2. The whole damsel in distress bit just solidified it for me. First girl in generations? Coincidentally close to Harry's age? Obessed with him? Sister of best friend?
