Soon he heard footsteps and saw the shadow of who could only be described as an angel and friend he had known for the longest time... that is until that person came into the light and he realized it was just Hermione.
Haha, I like this style. Bait them in and then sink the ship in a blast of splintery wood.;)

“Harry,” Hermione said, approaching him. “I am temporarily in character, and my main concern isn't making Ron jealous so I can't help but wonder…what do you see in Ginny?"

While funny, this hints at a bit of the authors bitterness, which is pretty annoying all the same.

“Don’t you mean Riddle?” Hermione raised an eyebrow at Harry.
“Same thing,” Harry shrugged. “Anyway, she was possessed by Satan, and that’s why she couldn’t get me a gift.”


-laughs his ass off-.


"Alas, fifth year…"


Hermione cut in: "Harry you aren't Dumbledore."


Harry frowned "I'm not?"


Absolutely priceless.


“It was the monster,” Harry sighed.


“Monster?” Hermione looked at him suspiciously.


“Sorry! Not monster! THERE WAS NO MONSTER!” Harry exclaimed frantically. “Love. I meant love!”

For what seems like a Harmonian, I think this author's hit one of DLP's veins.


“I’m sorry,” Ginny replied angrily, poking him in the shoulder. “I don’t believe that’s redeemable at Hogsmeade. I want something materialistic. I’m all about materialistic.”

That was fucking fantastic. By humor standards, it's a 4 max, and was a pretty nice read.

Quick, short, to-the-point and funny. Definetly worth the read.

Final rating: 4/5 [3.5/5 for those who don't like comedy fics much]

H/Hr is a bit better than H/G in my opinion. Amusing fic. I like how it makes fun of the HBP logic of H/G... I mean every year nothing really happens between the two in terms of relationship so 6th year rolls around and all of a sudden:

and vice versa...

Humorous and of course big points for mocking Ginny and whipped-lil-bitch!Harry.

But all the reasons Ginny is terribly annoying were just as ever-present in the horribly annoying portrayal of Hermione.

It was about as compelling an argument as watching George rip into Fred and point out all of Fred's nauseating faults. It's literally annoying love interest Hermione portrayed the same gag-inducing way annoying love interest Ginny is presented by most Ginny fans.

But the irony of it made me smile. Good for a quick, short laugh. I'm just not sure I'm amused for the reasons the author intended. 3/5.
