Can anyone point me in the direction of some fics similar to Taliaths "In Light of Silver Memories"?
I just recently read this and i love the Dumbledore coming out in Harry, the way he speaks and handles situations swiftly as if they were nothing instead of the beserk warrior independent Harry theme thats so common.

Doesnt need the whole Memories absorbtion thing, just something where Harry adopts a more Dumbledorish personality.

Hmm...that's quite a request, not many fics like that out there...

The one that springs directly into mind is "Browncoat, Green Eyes" by nonjon, where Harry has a pretty Dumbledoreish personality. It's a crossover though, so I don't know how interested you'd be (or if you've already read it).

Although I wouldn't quite call him Dumbledoreish, he is still more mature than your "berserk warrior independent Harry".

 

Lol, Taliath is a guy, Jonny. Definitely male Girly name (I TOLD YOU IT WAS A GIRLY NAME, TALIATH) but definitely a guy.

But to cazten's question: other than nonjon's Browncoat, I'm not sure I've encountered another Dumbledore!Harry-ish type fic. Sorry.

 

The only other fic that I can think of is Shezza's abandoned story "Prophecy".

 

I figured since a fic search thread was already started I might as well use it. Just seen GoF the film. Can anyone suggest any good AUGoF Harry fanfic during or after the tournement? Cheers.

 

There are plenty out there, one of the best by far however is MrRiddler's "Secret of the Male Veela" it is pretty entertaining.

On the note of fic searches, I have had this sudden "urging" for some good Harry/Gabriel stories, any suggestions. (Apart from Hope/The Art of Healing, which I have already read)

Its H/GD, post hogwarts and the war. Harry's hospitlized in a coma and Gabriels the doctor looking after him.

 

Great, Gabrielle romancing a comatose!Harry, that sounds like a good entertaining read. Its strangely reminding me of Vash's latest work, though.

 

There's one called Alexander Xavier Phoenix by Da Bong Smokah - unfortunately he (She?) has decided to take down the old version and rewrite it. Not much help I know, but meh, it'll be there soon.

ALso, it's AU and runs off the old 'Twin who lived scenario' - Harry runs away etc. so that might be another reason not to read if you don't liek that sort of thing
