I'm surprised that no one posted it before. Dumbles is manipulative here but not evil. Harry makes his own desicions and pretty sneaky especially when manipulating Fudge with his alter ego. Its completed and the author posted the first chapter of the sequel recently.

I've read it. It was very good. That final battle on brooms was especially well done, but the very ending was too depressing for my taste.

Hm... At least, there should be some serious Weasley bashing in the sequel. I'm especially looking forward to the stalker suffering for a very, very long time.

Erm... does the writing get better past the first two chapters? I'm sure the plot is very good but...it seems like he wrote this with his mind elsewhere...it seems....stilted.

Don't remember it that well, but to me, it was very enjoyable (save for the occasionall angst). I don't remember the writing being that bad so... yea, it should probably get better.

    At my computer. Obviously.
Ahh nothing like a tragic ending. What I remember of it, I enjoy. I've read chunks of this fic at different times, but now that the sequel is underway I’ll have to go back and read it from start to finish.

I loved the story, and the angst was fine with me.

This story makes me hate Ginny even more... which is a definite plus!
