Just a one-shot, but still it's one of the rare well-written last duels between Voldemort and Harry (no power of love crap).

It does sound convincing, doesn't it? If all the emotinal stuff wasn't dropped out of HBP it could have come to that. History to repeat itself...

short but pretty good read. The comparison between Harry and Voldemort was very good.

Great story!

This was a good read. I really like the parallel between Harry and Voldemort.

If it hadn't been for HBP (the ruiner of all good fics), this would have been completely believable.

A decent battle, and a somewhat common theme. The general it takes a monster to defeat a monster ideology. Better than the 'power of love' of course, but then again, I think I'd prefer a parody (like a certain one-shot I remember) where it was the power of propane that the dark lord knew not to the idea that it's the power of love. Or maybe some over-the-top anime crossover with just use a massive gun that they name "love". That would be awful, but better than the power of love.

Though I must say I started off reading this a bit biased and may have been nitpicking going through it. It's just not a good sign when the first four words are "He felt vaguely felt..."

You should at least re-read your first sentence before posting I would hope. :/

This was a great story...I loved the battle. It's somewhat how I'd invision the final battle...a great magical duel with both sides fighting fire with fire, and Harry full of hatred at Voldemort, reducing him to nothing.
