It's pretty good or decent, not sure if it'll make it into the library but it should make it into the trash bin at least.
4/5 with my current non-anal retentive mood.
Edit* fixed the link, haha told myself to change beofrehand.... eh o well
Word of warning is not to take this fic to seriously.

Interesting, but not interesting enough to keep my attention.

It's actually not too bad. Entertaining enough, right now. Unfortunately, 5 chapters in 6 months, and nothing in the last 3 1/2 means that it's just about abandoned. Otherwise, I'd give it a 3.5/5.

That's... an interesting way to put it.

I couldn't get past the first few paragraphs. Its definitely a fucking fangirls "wetdream" story. Bloody bints. 2/5 for me. Toss it to the trash bin!

I wasn't expecting much, what with the whole Japanese reference in the title and emo-friendly Harry. Still, I gave it a try and damn... this story is fucking brilliant!

I mean, kick-ass Harry, in-character Luna (pre-DH, thank God), fantastic narration (the guy knows how to write sarcastic 1st person POV), funny romance and cool new character in the last chapter. What's there not to like?

You guys really need is get over the first chapter and fangirlish pro-Draco leather-crap references. The rest of the story has little to do with that shit.

I'm not sure what I was expecting, but I wasn't expecting that; but, in a good way, for the most part. The perspective was done well, and Harry is, if anything, not a pussy like canon. I'm not entirely sure whether or not I like the fact that Harry and Draco are friends in this, but it's not a very big deal, really; very minor.

I do like the fact that Harry is basically no longer friends with Ron and Ginny, though; big plus, there.

3.9/5 (Due to Draco and the few - minor - spelling/grammar mistakes noted).

I quite like it. I've never seen a haunting in a story before, she's a bit weird but then again so are Harry and Luna.

3.5-4/5 Good strong three or a weak four...

Just thought I'd mention that this story just updated for the first time in at least five or six years. And it's an actual update, not an overdue abandonment notice. So, that's good news.

    Crazy...

And, not half bad, either. Managed to maintain the same tone after all this time... some authors can't do that after five days.

Lol, I love when threads like this get resurrected; it's like going back in time seeing people who haven't posted in a long time. Just the general attitudes and the lack of temperance are really kind of interesting.

Hmm... I might have to look at this it slipped my net since I don't add things (or even look at them) if they're under 50k words (unless the author specifically says it's a oneshot, or less than x number of words).

Speaking of updates... Rusty I assume your muse has given up on Ectomancer? Or has your return to the forums meant an increase in free time?

Well, it's kind of a twofold problem--I'm working on something original, and I've also really been wanting to start a time travel story. But I don't want to start posting it without being a good way along, and I fear the backlash if I do that instead of continuing ectomancer (which still lives in the back of my mind). I don't want to be one of those authors who starts five things and never finishes any of them :b

And yeah, the free time is also part of it, heh.

I remember reading this story back in the day, and now I just reread it because of the update. It's cheesy as hell, to the point where I think it's trying too hard and isn't as funny as it thinks it is, and it's not really an overblown time of humor either, it's just kind of... meh. Story is 25,000 words and nothing really happens. It's meant to not be taken seriously, and then it's just bland humor that's not all that interesting.

Enjoyable enough. It's age shows a bit, and the general lack of length and glacial update rate take their toll, but at the end of the day it's still a story I'm happy I read.
