Because I couldn't resist the mental image of Mrs. Norris peeing on the hem of Snape's robes

I know that was a cute, clever little one-shot.

But I just can't enjoy stories with a Snivelly like that. Never have been able to. I know it's my fault, but it's like trying to laugh at a joke that the uncle who raped you when you were younger just told. Just leaves me ill and you never laugh even if it was funny.

God I hate that indignant self-righteous Snivelly when he makes Harry look like an idiot.

And I'm sure I'm taking a cute little idea too seriously but a tiny cat is not Harry's animagus form. A retarded crippled bunny is about as likely.

But don't let me stop you from reading this. I have issues of my own getting in the way. And like I said, I know that was a cute, clever little one-shot.

Hehe...that cheered me up. I didn't like Snape making Harry look like a fool but..meh. It was still a refreshing change from all those other cliched idiotic stories that come around nowadays.

I thought that was funny in a cute way too.

I've been toying with the idea of making Harry a tiny, cute, kitten just to contrast with the Phoenix, Dragon, Lion, and other forms.

But then, why not a sheep?

I've debated making him a brilliantly-colored parrot. Just because the initial moments of thinking he's a phoenix are so worth squashing.

Eh. This was pretty good. 'Cute' is definitely the appropriate description.

The characterizations were excellent, as was the actual telling of the story. The author clearly knows what he/she's doing.

My only beef with this fic is that it consists of only a single scene. It's barely long enough to be considered a drabble.

    4/5 for what it is.
