I am a great fan of Indiana Jones films. I guess they are a bit silly, but they bring a smile to my face. Although Harrison Ford is getting rather old for this type of roll I can't imagine anyone else being cast as Indiana Jones.

I'm excited about the film but I wasn't too thrilled with this trailer.. The action scenes looked neat and all but they didn't give much else away.. I guess I just hope it doesn't turn into a big "I'm getting too old for this shit" joke that runs 2 hours long

 

That might be an issue. Now that you mention it I am sure that the line will make an appearance into the film.

Oh well, one must have faith after all.

 

I'm sure they'll use it once or twice, but it's an Indiana Jones movie! not an overdone "comedy".

 

I have to agree with boofers about hoping there's something more to this film. I'm wondering what Shia Labeouf's role in the movie is.

 

This movie will be fucking epic, there will be no way in which it will fail EVER!!!

 

Saddly, Harrison Ford is just too old for this role anymore.

I loved all the IJ movies... but I think that this is a case of going to the well one too many times.

 

As for someone who could pull off the role of Indy, What about Nathan Fillion?

Anyway, Looks half decent, i has reservations with the casting of shia lebeouf but it looks like this is set a long time later after Last Crusade, so works for me.

 

Nobody can pull off the role as well as HF, NOBODY!

He is getting a bit old for the part though, they should have left the series alone IMO.
I'm still going to go see it though, and I really hope it's at least half as good as the others.
