Hey y'all! I'm looking for a crossover with Supernatural in which Harry finds out that Sam and Dean are his brothers due to a weird wartime accident with polyjuice. He also obtains a cursed doll that has a tendency to horribly murder her owners and eats the strangest things. There were also some allusions to The Devil Went Down to Georgia. I believe there was only one part so far, but it was well written and fun, even for the non-Supernatural fan. It was also posted fairly recently, as in sometime this year, I think.

Anybody know what this is?

Be honest with me here, just how well written was it? If its better than a 3.5, I probably have it in my C2 group. If not, it'll be a bit harder to find.

 

It was very well written, IIRC. There was only one chapter so far but it was really long; at least over 10K words and I don't remember there being any technical errors. It was different, interesting, engaging, and did a good job explaining Supernatural for someone like me, who has never watched the show. I may be wrong, but I don't remember seeing any other crossovers on the author's profile, either. They did run into Dean's and Sam's dad, and it turned out that he'd known Lily and James during the war. In the last bit, they met The Devil Went Down to Georgia's Johnny and he taught Harry the fiddle and after they killed the demon that'd been plaguing him, he gave Harry the gold fiddle. I'm pretty sure I stumbled across it in January on the FFN updates list and it was a new story then.

Yeah, story sounds a little weird but the show kicks some serious ass. I was so pissed off when the writer's strike happened right when this season started building up for the climax.

 

Harry Potter. And it was a bit weird, but Harry was learning to kick some serious ass. It was fun and I'd like to reread it.

Nah, those were the Harry Potter ones. Currently, there are 465 stories under the Supernatural category. Most of the good Supernatural fics aren't on ff.net; they're mostly on small devoted sites and livejournal.
