Hey, I'm looking for a fic that I read a while back. All that I remember is that Harry turns pretty dark and set's up his HQ in a small village in europe I think. I think his dark mark is a rose with a cross or something.

It might be kind of vague but that's all I can remember.

I'm pretty sure it was ficwad, but it could have been aff either. Sorry for the vagueness!

 

A rose and a cross at Ficwad? The only story that comes close to that that I can remember is a story where Harry renames himself Marik Black (or Merik Black), and then has a bunch of followers, trying to re-start what Grendiwald (sp?) had started.

 

Was it "Lust of a Dark Soul" by Vash?

 

That's the one I was thinking of, yes. Darn good story. Too bad he hasn't updated it recently. Was hoping he would. Oh well.
