This project is a personal project of mine to get myself into the habit of increasing my mixing skills.

That includes the song choice, order, feeling, mood, BPM etc.

Hopefully as my little project expands, more people will provide input to the grand scheme of things, including guest appearances, pre-made DLP sound samples/ads. These things which will help make the project a lot more professional as my skill increases in cross fading/mixing effects.

So without further ado, may I present the DLP Mega Mix - Volume I

I didn't expect you do it so fast. We were only just talking about it last night.

    I'll download it soon.

I don't think I've ever really listened to this genre of music before.

But the beginning does sound really cool.

    Awesome job Murton :D

How does one download this rather than streaming it? When I click on the link it just opens a Quicktime plug-in and plays it.

Edit: Never mind, got it. For everyone else who is wondering, you right click on Jon's link and select "Save Link As".

I lol'd at the Anakin Skywalker bit from TPM.

Which track is it at about 70minutes?

Also, is it just me or does Basshunter use the same bass line in both this song and Now You're Gone (Boten Anna)? And is he using Dynasty Warriors in there too?

A nice mix, and very nice if it's your first one. The WC at the end gave me a wtf moment since I had it minimized and was wondering if I was somehow in a game.

Pretty bad arranging and mixing techniques, tracks are also quite old, some are from 2005-06. However, if it's your first time - then nice try.
For the future - try to overlap tracks, present all frequencies properly in your choices, balance volume, etc. You seem to like euro trance with vocals, probably good idea will be to mix in few deep trance tunes.

By the way - you mixed in few housy tracks in your progressive trance set, was it intentional?

...Why does it matter if the tracks are from 05-06?

    It doesn't, gtfo
