So many fucking things have happened in that time. feartehturtle:fear, PP3, RC, Vash and Bio vs Jbern, the triple fail of Marie/Virail/Nobody, Patronus Charm, finding out that Raven is a big black girl, demotions, promotions... it's been a motherfucking blast.

I'm going to ignore the drama for a minute and just say... I never thought we'd outlive our niche. I don't mean that in a bad way, but I remember when the few uncommon/unpopular pairings like H/Bellatrix, like H/Tonks, H/Narcissa and even H/Molly could be found here... it was part of what attracted me here in the first place.

I never thought we'd stay up long enough to see H/Tonks become as ridiculously popular as it has, or even H/Bellatrix, it's nice... and sad to see that we have.

It's nice because you have quantity to choose from now, and a wider audience, but sad in the respect that with quantity comes shitty quality - which is especially accurate in regards to Hellatrix and Honks.

Pairings aside, even Dark!Harry has become far more popular... we went from probably 50 max, fandom wide, to what we have now.

I don't even know what to say, it's just kind of shocking, but it's been fun guys.

I'll come out of lurking to wish DLP a happy birthday. If you look at my join date you'll see i have pretty much seen it all and though i have less than 50 posts in that time, just know that i make almost daily visits. I have watched all the lulz unfold in quiet contemplation. I wasn't sure we were going to make it to three years at one point, but here we are.

My congratulations to the all the mods and admins for getting DLP this far.
