Just picked up a copy of the original Ghost in the Shell and watched through it(it was brilliant, surpassed the raves I'd already heard). Has anyone seen any good fanfiction?

From what I've heard from the members of my family and friends who liked the first movie, Stand Alone complex was deplorable and the second movie was a fannon thing. Apparently the creator was harshly critised for leaving Batou as a second-to-main character, he seems to figure in more largely in the manga; hence the creator made the second movie. Dont really intend to watch either, especially given Adult Swims tendencies to switch between episodes ( like episode 1 of RRK, then episode 18 >_< ).

It was very indepth, providing more then enough plot capabilities. The only tripe I found that was 60,000<(>?) on ff.crud was a romance fic.. which I can't stand..

Anyway, if anyone see's any please post a link or the sites name...

Amen! The first movie alone is enough, to drag it on is horrid. Imagine if they took akira and tried to drag it on for 100+ episodes.... :evil:
