i'm getting ready to write my first fanfiction guys...i dont got much right now i just want you to have a look at the base idea so far(the story writeing starts tomorrow)

why a lighteningbolt scar? maybe it was a clue of his power...if it was just a mark to mark him as tom riddles equal shouldnt it have been a V or maybe an S? maybe the power of the storms was 'the power he knows not'...

thats pretty much my base idea...i need to evolve it and think up more details but thats what i got so far...

yeah most likely...i'm just having fun and i got the idea like 10 min ago.

besides all the elementals got fire or something like that...you can do allot of things with high voltage...

and for spelling as so english is NOT my first language...and i didnt spellcheck...

Well, the scar identifies Harry as Voldemort's equal. If Voldemort never attacks Harry, he never has the scar. So his elemental power channeled through his forehead can't exist, since it doesn't predate Voldemort's attack.

 

actually its strike 2...but you are right...i will think this through tomorrow when i'm awake and sobber...

....What the hell is "chocking?" Misspelled 'choking?' Made up word? Strange nautical reference? Seriously, where did that come from?

Webster says chocking is:

Somehow I don't think that's the intent here, but hey, thats why I'm asking...

 

I think he meant shocking, but I can't be sure. Still, doesn't sound like one of the most original ideas out there, and his spelling/grammar sucks balls. Might as well go for it, worst that can happen is he gets flamed... Or maybe I'm in too forgiving a mood.

You know, with the whole 'lightning' spiel, I probably should've guessed it was a typo for 'shocking.'

Elemental magic, in the fanon conception (or arguably misconception) of the term, deals with any of the archaic 'elements:' Earth, Air, Fire, and Water are the standards, but Lightning is reasonably common as well. I've also seen Life, Death, Order, and Chaos referred to as 'elements' in this manner, but much more rarely.

Harry as a lightning elemental isn't original. Off-hand, the 'thunderbird' in the A Second Chance at Life series comes to mind, (check the Recycling Bin here), and I know I've read at least one other, although I can't remember where/what it was.

 

It would suck. And I have a feeling it would have Naruto elements in it.

I can't even express my feelings about 'writeing' and 'lighteningbolt'. I wonder how many extra letters a person like this types in a lifetime. I'm sure the data and how it relates to keyboard wear and tear, extra electricity, extra time spent, et cetera would be mildly interesting.

Very mildly.

 

I'm guilty of 'lightening'. I just recently discovered and corrected it in Midnight Watch. The stupid idiots at Fiction Alley tried to tell me that "lightning bolt" should be hyphenated.
