We´ve got a thread for our favorite Dresden Files characters,
but what would they be without interaction and action?

What are your favorite scenes in the books?

You can quote them, tell us when/where/who or just give us the page and book and comment why this scene etc.

    Please mark spoilers.

I´ve too many scenes in mind to write them all down at once, but some special scenes for me are

-The "introduction" of Bob in Storm Front (p.90-99)
The way he and Harry interact is just funny and as the first scene with both of them, it has a special place.

    - When Harry put on the wolf belt in Fool Moon (p. 318 ff.)
It fit in in the book perfectly...and I love it when Harry gets tempted by the bad guys and his inner darkness.

-The first time we see Thomas and Bianca´s party in Grave Peril (p.212 ff.)
Only Harry would go to a vampire party in a vampire costume...it was predictable, but still awesome, Thomas is funny, but in a dangerous way, because you couldn´t place him etc.

    ......

    Three noteworthy scenes I can remember off the top of my head;

Fool Moon, when Dresden went Hexenwolf on Benn. That was fucking epic as hell.

Proven Guilty's opening scene. Greatest opening scene of the series.

And White Night's only good scene, where upon Carlos meets Lara.

"@_@ OMAHGAWD! VIRJUNZ! AM I CAN HAS?!" "DX D00D! FUKKEN HAX! LIES!"

Off the top of my head-:
    1. Harry-Molly sex conversation in Death Masks (talk about lulz...)
    2. The Demon's attack and consequent defeat in Storm Front.
    3. Bob's... temporary revamp in Dead Beat. Fucking epic.
    4. The firestorm in Grave Peril.
    5. Seeing the battlefield near the Stone Table with the Sight in Summer Knight.
    6. The animation of Sue in Dead Beat. Now THAT'S called style.
    7. The attack on the Warden Trainees, and what Dresden does in its aftermath.
    8. Arctis Tor. 'Nuff said.

That's all I can remember at the moment.

    In no particular order:

Dresden's interaction with Ferrovax at Bianca' party in Grave Peril
    Arctis Tor
Sue the T-Rex being animated in Dead Beat
Michael and Harry vs. the baby smotherer ghost lady
    Summoning of the Erlking
    Fairies with box cutters

    Yes...

Toot-toot blew another little blast on his trumpet and shouted, voice shrill, "In the name of the Pizza Lord!! Charge!"
    (Summer Knight, p. 362)

I cracked up after I read this

I'm not going to mention any of the one's already mentioned (But The Sue one was the bitchingest)

I love the conversations Harry has with Butters, there is nothing about that man I don't love.

There's the one where Thomas is around in deadbeat, Harry's trying to keep Butters from freaking out, and Thomas face Palms. I was lolling. You all know the one I'm talking about.

oh and when Dresden Tells Lara to kiss him and they rocket out of the cave...

    You know I came...

Indeed, White Night was weak, but Lara/Dresden 'this might sound weird but kiss me' was fairly awesome.

More of a one liner than a scene, but I still randomly flashback and enjoy the lulz of "Polka will never die!"

Hmm, favorite three off the top of my head:
    1) Dresden's little fireworks display at Bianca's "party".
    2) Dresden dealing with the ghouls in New Mexico.
    3) Eldest Brother Gruff, who beats the shit out of fallen angels and delivers donuts.

    Butters Quazi. Butters.

Of the top of my head. Dresden and Carlos' White Night duel, Sue, storming Mavra's swarm (where Dresden melted his hand) Arctis Tor and in Storm Front when Dresden used his cleaning spell to get rid of the scorpion talismens.

    Did I call him Bubbles?

I honestly have no Idea why... Either way, he and his south park namesake are made of win and awesomeness.

Yes. Yes you did. Though Butters being...Butters twenty-odd years in the future was something I hadn't thought of before. Maybe Hendricks is Stan??

Well that would explain how the hell he survived a car being flipped on top of him.

Carmichael riding the Loup-Garou was also an awesome scene.

I believe the words "Burn you greasy bat-faced bastards! Burn!" sums up my favourite scene. It's kinda cliché but I can't help the homicidal grin that takes over my face when I read that.

Sue is second to that, of course, cause who doesn't love bombing about Chicago on the back of an undead T-Rex? And then using said T-Rex to battle a few necromancers and their hordes of zombies. Sue rocks. It cannot be helped.

Third would have to be... Ivy. I don't think I need to say anymore.

Fourth is the Eldest Gruff meeting. I have not lol'd more at a scene than I did when I read that. When Thomas notices the doughnuts on the boat is just as lulzy too :D.

Fifth, and this is going to sound strange cause it's a Murphy scene, is when she shoots the Loup-Garou with her rifle in the police station. There's just something incredibly amusing about a 5' tall blonde woman standing up to a metric ton of magically powered super-wolf.

Eh... Tough one. I loved all the books pretty much equally, no one scene stood out to me as far and away from the others. Um... The last scene in Proven Guilty between Harry and Bob about Lasciel sticks out in my mind. But as pure badassness goes? I'm going to go with the crowd and say Bianca's party and Harry's subsequent pyrotechnics display.

Yes...killed by a frozen turkey, what a way to go.
    Well, the murder were pretty...unique,
a swarm of bees in a car, dead by car crash...when she was water skiing (what form do you use for water ski?), electroduced in a puddle of your own blood...
Well the turkey was the best, great name^^

    ...

Everyone keeps mentioning Dresden and Bianca. DOES NO ONE REMEMBER SHE RAPED HIM?!

Bat-faced creature raping anyone is not my idea of cool and that forever tainted Bianca. ...Well... beyond BEING a bat-faced creature. Till I found that out, she was cool. :/
