Non Magic Fics

Right, I figure this would go here, since its discussing a type of fanfiction.

Now, What is the point of Non Magic fics, or even Non Magic Harry? Does anyone know?

The point of non-magic fics is so that fangirls can set up an explicit Harry/Draco ship in their story with slightly more believeability than in magical ones...technically it could be used for something else, but it always ends up like that.

EDIT: The only non-slash non-magic story I've seen is Naia's "Dance!", and thats HP/HG, which isn't much better.

I'd say it is used to write a story about some Highschool which is incidentically slightly similar to the author's own one with teachers that are kinda like the author's and some pupils that resemble people the author know.
